GIMMICK SUMMARY
Zealot of the Happy Few - While every member of The Happy Few believe in crushing those that bring shame and dishonor onto wrestling, none of them are as...vigorous about it as she. Michiru despises everyone that she sees as “shaming the spirits of those who came before” and will gleefully crush them on sight. All in the name of the dead.
HISTORY
“The dead are all around us, in all things.”
This is what Michiru Kurokawa believes. That the dead are not gone, but hanging around all of us, unseen to our living eyes, still able to affect and shape our lives if they wished. Adopted by the Kurokawa family at a young age and raised in their beliefs of the strength of strong style and the importance of keeping wrestling to the highest standard she inevitably became a wrestler too, and joined with her siblings to become The Happy Few, a group dedicated to ridding wrestling of those that did it dishonor. Their first self-given mission was to invade Millennium Wrestling, though Michiru did not join it as herself. Michiru wanted to infiltrate the company, not to stab it in the back, but to give it a chance to save itself. She wanted to see if there were any people worth sparing, a reason to have hope for the company. Wrapping herself in the guise of Rie Shimizu and accompanied by her attendant Tsukasa Kurokawa (under the name Homare Kato), she stepped out to see if Millennium was worth saving.
It was not. Really really really not.
Between dealing with the man with a sex slave, the multiple racists or the rapist, “Rie” found herself in despair. The state of this place, the state of wrestling! For one raised in a household focused on the glory of wrestling, to see it in such a state was heartbreaking. And so “Rie” left Millennium with the rest of her family, not even finding it worth destroying what was already terminal. And as they left she tossed away the identity of “Rie” and embraced the truth laying in her heart. Wrestling had been built on the backs of those who came before, both the wrestlers and the fans. Those early ones that broke their backs to create the sport, and those early ones that supported them and let the love of the sport into their hearts. If they lingered, as Michiru believed, then how /dare/ these people now be in such a state, encourage such things. How awful it must be for those beloved departed, to see what wrestling had become. No, she couldn’t allow that.
So she would eradicate everyone that brought shame to wrestling as she viewed it. So those departed spirits could finally be proud again of the sport they helped shape.
