....what Race/Class do you think you'd be?
Considering my build I might actually be an elf, maybe half elf/human.
As for class? I think I would totes be a Paladin now- anyway I'm lawful good and I doubt I have the patience to be a sorcerer despite my lack of build.
I probably would have a fair few levels in rogue though from before converting
What about you?

Dragonborn. I actually was this in a D&D campaign a few years back as a barbarian. It was perfect for me and took the DM several sessions before he realized my collection of jewelry and shinny daggers was because I was part dragon (my father was a dragon and my egg wasn't blessed).
When I play other role based games I tend to learn magic and this was also true here. The dragonborn gained a few lvls of magic but the berserker rage was amusing. If we are discussing what class I more aligned with it would probably be mage or druid. I like the idea of magic and learning. I enjoy nature and working with animals. Museums and zoological parks interest me way more than a band concert. Though that may be because I am not fond of loud noises and bright lights.
My alignment tends toward neutral good in the sense that I understand and follow most rules. I wait in line, don't steal, pay my taxes but speedlimits are more like guidelines. Seriously, if the weather is bad, one should drive slower but if road conditions are perfect, why not go faster. Also slow pokes in the fast lane should get their tires slashed-but not by me. That said I've been told I have a mischievous side that would prevent me from being lawful good.

I'm currently playing a chaotic good halfling swashbuckler... with my promos coming naturally enough that it sadly fits my personality.
Not happy about it, but those are the breaks.

Chaotic Neutral Human Bard/ Swashbuckler. I'd be good at Alchemy/ Potion Mixing, unless D&D has a boozy cocktails skill.
Weapon of Choice- Bow & Arrow. Maybe a Dagger/ Short Sword as backup (INB4 Mav/ Ryan say anything bad about Limerick, fuck you)

How would that work on this site?

How would that work on this site? I imagine there’d be several ways to go about it. The one I was in over ten years ago was so confusing I never left the local tavern, lol. But Bongo might be a werewolf now or something Anyway, I think #1 it’d require really active DM staff and members no matter how you ran it. If it were me trying to combine the concepts of D&D and Efedding I’d keep it simple but a little busy -Obviously the flavor is D&D fantasy realm, so you’d want characters questing instead of what normal wrestlers do on their odd time, there’d be loot to get, monsters to kill etc -I’d use the ‘competitive creative writing’ aspect to marry the concepts. So folks would write stories of their quests (watched by DM staff) then (maybe by dice rolls) the DM’s would secretly choose opponent pairings for a sort-of-forth-wall-damaging ‘contest of champions’ or some kind of in-world excuse for a show. Whoever is wring more interesting questing wins the match (duel?) and gets the swag for their journey. Maybe only one real title, “The Champion (as in top warrior) of _____(land name)” -For a little extra spice I’d let people ‘quest’ (rp) as any sort of character in the world- and encourage interaction (after all they don’t know who their opponent is for the rounds). So like you could be an Adventurer, a Monster/Evilwatever, or an NPC- but during the questing phase you’d be writing stories of your character’s adventures in life (however that life plays out). So for me I’d probably go... But even as an NPC, the onus would be on me to write stories of life in town when not interacting with adventurers if I want to win the match-ups -Maybe have a level-up system as awards for certain matches or especially interesting quests, so you could like get a new feat or something. But like I said, since it’s basically free-reign creative writing I think that you’d have to have really dedicated/prolific members. The rigid structure of feds stifles some level of storytelling that would be the backbone of this concept. These would need to be folks who just write and don’t really think of limits/deadlines- just run into the wilderness and tell stories I can think of other formats (like the TGK format, sort of) but that’s how I’d do it anyway, lol
