[Timeless]

[We see a crowd assembling out the front of the arena waiting for the doors to open for the NPW show. Two of the fans in the line are talking about wrestling. They are normal looking people, one has a Timeless t shirt on and the other is wearing a NPW t shirt.]

Fan 1 : I mean, the nerve of that guy! Do they think we don’t know what is going on in the wrestling world today? First of he gets invited into SWAT and given the opportunity to capture the XHF Championship, which thanks to Timeless, he wins. Not to mention while VISITING there, demands not to tap in a god damn iron man match, I mean, its only a fall in the match, either way, but for someone to have such an aversion to tapping out, he then has Timeless tap? TO A FUCKIN WOMAN NO LESS?

Fan 2 : Kayfabe man! Jesus! Hello, 4th wall?

[Fan two starts knocking on the brick wall of the building where they are lined up at.]

Fan 1 : Fuck Kayfabe. This is 2020. We know how wrestling works! The world KNOWS! Its all about booking! And man o man, that booking at All That Glitters BLEW!

Fan 2 : Maybe it wasn’t the ‘booking”. Maybe She was better?

[The two fans look at reach other for a moment and then start laughing at the absurdity.]

Fan 1 : Let me tell you something, even if she WAS better. (he scoffs) Even if she was … and a woman was somehow able to beat a god, which is a complete other discussion, wouldn’t it be a roll up? A small packlage? Even a DQ? But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Mr I don’t TAP OUT thinks its fine for anyone else to tap out TO A GOD DAMN WOMAN!

Fan 2 : You need to get over that woman bit, I mean, things are different in wrestling today, you said it yourself.

Fan 1 : It’s a world gone mad! Firstly, Men Facing women is, was and always will be ridiculous. I mean, any violence against women is completely and rightly so frowned upon. But noooo … in the new age, because we are smart to the business, we have to believe a woman can beat a man?

Fan 2 : Like you said, its booking.

Fan 3 : (a third fan chimes in from behind them) Women can do anything men can do.

Fan 3 : It’s a fact. Women play sport. Women work, they even vote. Women can play soccer just as well as men.

Fan 1 : Then why don’t they play in the Premiere League?

Fan 3 : They have their own leagues.

Fan 1 : Damn straight they do. Because they are not as good as men! Even the Olympics, you think Marion Jones can beat Usain Bolt in a 100m race? They don’t even compete together in the Diviing and that shit!

Fan 3 : That’s not wrestling.

Fan 1 : So Stephanie can beat Brock Lesnar?

Fan 3 : Why not? And Dominatrix is more a Rousey than a Stephanie.

Fan 1 : The Stephanie example was to show the booking of the family. Ever heard of Verne Gagne? Why he beat everyone? He owned the fn company! What about Combow Bill Watts. Rammed his inept son down peoples throats. This is why no one watches this shit no more! Idiots like you. THEN! You have true talents like Timeless, who put his company above and beyond his own career for over FOUR YEARS! Going out of his way to make others look good, morans like that Caffrey. When he outgrew that and instead of them pushing their own there, he left and joined here at NPW so he could do it on his own!

Fan 3 : Maybe he just isn’t that good then, because first time out of that comfort zone and he didn’t fare too well.

Fan 1 : BECAUSE YOU MORAN! When he was in a power situation put others over! Others now in that same place put THEMSLEVES OVER! As for Rousey? What, she should beat Drew?

Fan 3 : Linda beat Zoran.

Fan 1 : Yeah! But she DIDN’T TAP HIM OUT! A god damn whole house had to fall on him for her to get over the line!

Fan 3 : Suzi Spits was the SWAT World champion!

Fan 1 : BECAUSE RADU MATIE PULLED HER ONTOP OF HIM TO PREVENT HIS ENEMIES IN THE MATCH GETTING THE BELT ONCE HE WAS FINISHED!

Fan 3 : Wow. You’re really riled up. Don’t take it so personally, its only wrestling.

Fan 1 : Only wrestling? Get the Fuck Outta here with that bullshit! Listen Pal. It’s booking 101. IF you HAVE to have the woman get the W on the man, you do it in a way that is BELIEVABLE! What is she XENA? For gods sake. ESPECIALLY! ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE SO TOUGH THAT YOU YOURSELF REFUSE TO TAP! TO A MAN NO LESS

What a god damn joke! Lucky for us Timeless is such a professional he went out there and just did the job, you know how much it will hurt him? Not ONE FUCKIN BIT! Loses wash off him like water of a ducks back! Want to know why?

Because everyone knows he really is the best! So, whenever they see him lose, they think, wow, that’s messed up. Actually, they think THAT STINKS! THAT’S GARBAGE!

[The doors to the arena open up and the line begins to move towards the entrance and fan 1 glares at the pimply entitled fan 3 as they move along in the line and fan 3 looks away thinking he best let this go.]

*As the FOOLISH PEONS who have no idea how wrestling works shuffle into the arena, Lord Dominicus creeps out of the shadows that had been hiding him.*

LD: Wow, I thought the slobs in the seats were dumb but I had no idea the DEPTHS OF THEIR STUPIDITY. Especially that one, the loud one.

*He looks after them again and shakes his head.*

LD: Conspiracy theories about their favorite INSUFFERABLE LOSER coming up short against the mousy librarian girl? It's clear that aside from being BEYOND PETTY- which I suppose has its merits...

*Dominicus strokes his chin*

LD:....hmm, no, true evil CONQUERS, not whines...... Anyway, aside from being petty they don't understand wrestling. What they see in the ring is the fruition of the competitors’ preparation and training or lack thereof given life through GLORIOUS COMBAT. Not some boardroom decision.

*He sighs.*

LD: But as I have heard said by fans before: "When your favorite wins, everything is good. When he loses, it's a conspiracy." So I see it in action from such fans.  Is it the companies fault when their talent doesn't give "110% Percent?" But more concerning is that they don't understand the fundamentals of wrestling and would rather see Timeless hurt than give in.

*Dominicus gestures around his body*

LD: Our joints are how we move and how we fight. Smart wrestlers who aren't meatheads recognize their importance and do their best to protect them. By that nature any FIGHTER WITH HALF A BRAIN would rather tap out than remain in a submission hold and risk injury. I have seen big men tap within seconds of holds being applied because they understand that it is better to WIN THE WAR than some single skirmish.

*He proudly points to himself*

LD: That's why in my INFINITE EVIL GENIUS...ness I have honed my technical skills and mastered moves such as THE BAT HANGING LOCK....which I shall call THE DOMINILOCK in order to force my opponents into making that choice! That's just SKILLED COMBAT! It’s being smart, especially for a smaller wrestler like myself or Mistress Discipline, to utilize technical skill instead of wasting energy trying to lift people up with power moves all the time. And even a MILDLY COMPETENT MIND like Timeless understands and WOULD BE INCREDIBLY STUPID TO MISS that basic aspect of wrestling.

*Dominicus looks in the direction of the camera, almost like he knows it is there- but he doesn’t. One can only guess why.*

LD: Plus, Timeless, as a man who’s been in a long-term relationship absolutely has experience tapping out to a strong-headed woman like Roxy, there’s no shame in that. So why would he worry about a woman in the ring? Wouldn’t that be RIDICULOUSLY SEXIST AND OUT-OF-CHARACTER FOR A PERSON IN HIS SITUATION? Yes, it would. Not that it matters what a bunch of probably KEYBOARD WARRIORS in their CHATROOM-LIKE TOXICITY think though- they’ve probably never had an EVIL CONSORT to aid them on their adventures.

*He looks into the distance wistfully.*

LD: Lady Dominicus…..where are you my love? But…..I mean, if Mistress can beat Timeless….

*There’s some more chin stroking.*

LD: Perhaps she could be turned away from that would-be-hero Death Trap and allured to the DARK LIGHT OF BLACKNESS! “Mistress Dominicus” has a ring to it...hmmmmm

*He shakes himself out of it.*

LD: But yeah, fans are AWFULLY STUPID, PETTY, SHORT-SIGHTED, SEXIST, and TOXIC. They’d never cut it as one of my Domini-Henchmen. There’s EVIL and there’s just being a waste of space. Mouth breathers, all of them. Even the lack-of-talent at NPW is higher class than them.

*Dominicus looks up at the arena as it is being filled with people.*

LD: At least I hope it is- otherwise this DOMINI-TAKEOVER will be PYRRHIC at best. Sort of like trying to put yourself over by moaning and whining about losing logically or having your fans do your talking for you. I’m sure Timeless is of a better mettle than that though; if he’s got half a brain he should talk some sense into these dumb “fans.” Otherwise he’s just like the garbage in SWAT he claims to be proud to be rid of.

*His rant to nobody over, Dominicus Domini-slinks off into the night, why is he even here?  He's not even booked....*
