The good news here is that Kuroi is most likely town, he was engaging and he was talking and that makes scum nervous! So thank you scum for clearing a town for us!
Unless he is faking the silence.

This analysis points me to Mongo, whom i seriously overlooked on Day 1.
Mongo is the key.
We are looking at a case where
a) Mongo's scum bodies are protecting him. b) Mongo is being set up. c) Mongo being the epicenter of all this is just a coincidence and what really happened was a random mafia night kill and a trigger happy killer townie messing things up.

I've got a lot going on irl; personally, professionally, and on this board ( YOU CAN VOTE IN CAR TODAY). That said I'm glad people are posting more but I disagree with some stuff said.
Kuroi is not town cleared and let us not be blind to that so early in this game. He could be town. He could not be town. The ability to limit someone to only voting (as evident by our mod's post edits and his excessive voting) is not alignment indicative and it has been used by both town and scum to target both town and scum alike. The usual suspects for such a charm won't work because this game was randomly selected. I will say, I can't mod confirm anything and I don't have a post restriction giving thing this time.
If you have a mod confirming ability, please for the love of dog, do NOT say so. No one is asking, so don't bring it up.
The loss of one at the end of yesterday was expected. I didn't expect to misplace two today. The question is, were both scum kills? with as many people playing as we have, I think it is safe to guess that we have more than one scum. In a normal game, they would be responsible for one but the RNG factor has me second guessing everything; what if, like the roles we lost, there is a percentage that they can do more than one person a night and it's a random number generator that guesses that? or do we have a third part or town vig because that would be overpowered? but the mod said there is no balance...

Right that’s a lot to deal with and take in. My early gut feeling was Caff may have been more scum leaning as well. So I’m really intrigued about a scum decision to kill him.
I need to go back and have a closer read of all this, and probably pull it together in the morning. One thing I will say, h2f is right, I don’t think there’s any trust right now.

That is an interesting outlook. Yes anything is possible in a randomized game, but i dont think the ratio of scum/town has been randomized. it was 12 of us and town numbers are supposed to be 3 times those of scum. Which means the set up was most likely 9 town and 3 scum. And Kuroi, i dont believe you are scum and im not gonna make the mistake of revenge voting like i did in other games, so i will wait until you can post again and explain why you voted against me. Also would like to read opinions from Seth Dillinger mosler and of course Mongo the Destroyer |

Juror #8: There is a lot to unpack here, and I will get to it a bit later tonight. General observations...
Juror #1 (KUROI) had a number of his comments removed by the bailiff (Steele). While the perpetrators (SCUM) can fake a gag order (SILENCE) to look like jurors (TOWN), their acts do not extend to bailiff (moderator) support. He was DEFINITELY gag ordered (SILENCE) which this early in the trial (GAME) SCREAMS town to me. Random numbers & modifiers make everything dicey in this trial, but I would say the erased messages make Juror #1 (KUROI) far more likely to be town than would normally be the case with silence.
Bailiff (Steele) is obsessed with flying pumpkins. Its always his role name drop of choice when debating what roles MIGHT be in a game. For us to FINALLY get a Flying Pumpkin in Juror #2 (DT)... I feel like the parameters of the game aren't as random as we might have originally thought.
SIDE NOTE...
This Juror #8 character will never get old.

If we're looking at the way things played out, the only weird thing yesterday that I caught was Seth double-questioning my choices on backing off DT and moving to Kira. It's weird because I explained that when I was doing it and I was just following the votes on me in order to stay alive.
Seth still went after DT
Now DT is dead anyway.
What do you have to say about all this, Seth? If Guillo is trying to paint me as being the center I'd argue you're right there next to me

The other? Mosler. He’s enjoying his juror #8 gag too much, and I do wonder if it’s an attempt to keep a neutral look.
We have between two and four scum from memory, as Steele said it would be 25% +-1 depending on the ring roll. So we could be facing an uphill battle already.
There’s a few people keeping too much under the radar right now and that’s bothering me.

Translation: I just wrote a response to this in character that said in 4 paragraphs what I could have said in 3 sentences. The legal jargon is a pain to place. I do like playing this game in character over OOC paranoid accusations (our common interest beyond wrestling is creative writing), it's my thing. As for being the only Kuroi read with a scum lean that is still alive - that puts me in pretty good town company. The first game we played together I was scum (maybe like 10 games ago?), I haven't been since - but Kuroi naturally mistrusts me as a result. Its perfectly reasonable, but we usually get on the same page eventually. |
