IT IS NOW DAY 3.Somebody died overnight... {Spoiler} It was Adrien! But what was his role? He was... {Spoiler} A TOWN [HIDDEN: LOUD] BABYSITTEROnce per night Adrien could choose a player to “babysit”. That player would be protected from all kills directed at them, but if Adrien himself was targeted then his “baby” would die too. The “Loud” modifier meant that Adrien’s target would be informed that he targeted them, but not what action he performed. So the big question is - who was Adrien’s baby? {Spoiler} It was Guillotina! And he was... {Spoiler}
A MULTITASKING MAFIA SILENCER!
Once per night he could nominate a player, and the next day that player would be prohibited from posting anything except votes (yes I fucked it up by misinterpreting the “loopholes” that were available for Kuroi to use)
Big brain move by Adrien to predict that he would be targeted, and protect the player he suspected most as scum.

That is really clever thinking through of the role! Almost like a bomb role. But risky...if it had backfired and he had babysat a person that was town we would have lost two town in one night.
This is the second time we see two taken out in one go. At least this time we know what caused the second loss.

Well well well that’s interesting. Scum accidentally killing on of their own. Glad o stuck to my guns about Guilo being scum though.
So what does that leave me with?
Mongo - I am very much on the fence about you. You lean town then do something that makes me question it every single time.
Kuroi - With Guilo being outed as silencer we can assume you’re town
Mosler - As the numbers go down I’m starting to think even more so that my earlier call of you using the Juror #8 thing as a front to distract that you may indeed be scum
h2f - You have done nothing for me to assume you’re town. And at this stage that’s suspect.
Hype - Your inactivity at points makes me unsure about you. I’d be interested to know why Kuroi put his vote in against you.
Going back to the numbers, six of us left, and we could have 1-3 mafia left because of the rng setup. My gut feeling is we started with three which would leave two. And I’m going to slap a big ol’ FOS: Mosler and h2f for now

Alright, so I was gonna post today if I lived that maybe townies should stop acting so suspect. Having read Rob's post I guess that applies to me as well, lol. But for real Seth you just glossed over any accusations and no sold them and it's really skeezy
Guillo was seemingly pretty scummy the more pressure was applied on him since he started freaking out.
But I switched my vote
Why? Because I realized during the vote count that Kuroi had unvoted Guillo and never put it back on. It's not like Kuroi to intentionally not kill somebody without reason so I took it that either Kuroi was actually scum and his scum theater went the wrong way or that he had some sort of revelation. Also Kuroi was getting more and more dickish in his replies and like seriously bro we're trying to kill bad guys don't dick around with the people who are trying to help.
Anyway... there was an error I don't know how many people were privy to- but in my eyes it had cleared Hype. Especially after Guillo claimed that he was a gunsmith enabler, in that he enabled the gunsmith. We now know that wasn't true. But, Hype does have a role in which he can check people and why would Guillo specifically mention gunsmith?
My thoughts? I think rng gave Hype a random gunsmith role, which basically means he can suss out who could kill him. BUT, it gave it to him as scum, not town. That's why Guillo knew the role (and maybe knew about the error and acted as though he was protecting that role)
So yeah, I've been off base a bunch this game but my FOS is on Hype right now

I was not a neighbor and im surprised how no one picked up on it. I'll read soon but i hVeMongo and Hype on my scumdar.
I also had permission to post the way i did until scum complained.

So I've been babysat by Adrien N1, and nearly died yesterday in the deadline lynch with Seth. That's two brushes with death, and I've almost missed them both from being busy. I've been up the walls with IRL stuff, if Seth were here he could back it up. Shit maybe Kuroi can, he's an AWF admin so he knows about me helping with matches and shit being last minute. So believe it or not, that's why I've been less active.
Life.
As for a bombshell to clear shit up, I'm Town. Not only that, but I'm in a Neighborhood. And who else is in there? H2F, Mosler and formerly Caffrey. Chances are one of those two are scum if not both. It's been eerily quiet for a Neighborhood, with neither H2F nor Mosler breaking stuff down. I'd have assumed detective Mosler would have been on the case more were he clean.
To take doubt away from me I do NOT have an investigator power. I have a retaliation power, which is not all too great tbh. So I cannot clear or check anyone. All I have is my observations.
1. Rob Arnold - has done a good job of pointing out suspicions, I'll have to go way back and confirm but I think he was first to suspect Guillo? Could be a ruse or could be playing the Town game.
2. Mongo The Destroyer - didn't entirely go HAM to save himself when DT was voting him off, makes me wonder what tricks he has up his sleeve.
7. Kuroi - poor Kuroi got silenced. Maybe Guillo saw him as a threat, a previous mod to now active character. He makes sense as a target...only he wasn't active. He was shit shooting votes and such. And a silencer power when me, H2F and Mosler have all got to each other's throats about that in the past? I wouldn't be shocked if Kuroi blatantly asked Guillo to target him and clear his name.
8. Mosler - Neighbor of mine, has done some digging but not his usual amount. I'm sure he's thrown out some hidden messages too, but will need investigation.
10. h2f - Same as above only less helpful. Hasn't really done much, and isn't drawing eyes onto herself like I am apparently. I'll be looking at who's hot on my tail and comparing past interactions with H2F.
12. Hyperion - Town, Neighbor. Haven't paid a lot of attention so my mission now is to research. As you can tell from above I have absolutely no idea who to go for. But I'm not going to get sucked into an OMGUS vote.
Six left, I have to assume two are scum. If this gets to N3, with the double-barrel powers we've seen so far then I can only figure that means Game Over. So let us not get to four votes immediately, and figure this shiz out.

Doing this on mobile, ignore autocorrects and formatting;
DAY ONE
Mongo- gets into some back n forth with DT from the start, the joke vote. But pushes back on DT more so as we approach deadline.
Rob- doesn't jump on the early wagons, sit back and observes the action. Comes in with valid observations on Kira's bandwagonning and votes Kira. Then unvotes.
H2F- also doesn't jump on the wagon. Doesn't really do much.
Mosler- gets into it a bit with Guillo, pushing back on his paranoia. Then does his usual roleplaying and breaks shit down. Covers for the inactive folks and makes some valid points on the day. Says something about Mongo being a good Godfather, that stuck out to me.
Kuroi- votes Rob then immediately changes to Caffrey. Leans scum on Caff and Mosler. Makes a statement about me not voting him, and is questioned by DT regarding my 'scum radar'. Says he'd never admit to being scum to DT, but then agrees with Mongo about admitting it. Lots of crosstalk here about Kuroi being scum. Also says the votes on Kira are misguided, maybe cos he knows who's scum?
DAY ONE OBSERVATIONS: most suspicious would be Kuroi and probably Mosler. Kuroi is the major flag based on his cockiness and Mosler for his super neutral observations. Not enough to merit a vote either way though.
DAY TWO
Mongo- during Guillo's breakdown he pinpoints Mongo. Mongo then comes back with reasons on his DT/ Kira rebuttal and fingers Seth working with Guillo. He changes tac when there is talk of soaring Kuroi or Kuroi being the friendly neighbor and wants him dead. I agree. Guillo then votes Mongo (with a pretty lame excuse from a past FoS). Mongo votes Guillo. And starts to break down the friendly neighbor claim errors, suspecting Kuroi of lying. Defends the wagon votes on me.
Rob- observes Mosler's running gag and sees it as neutral play. Doesn't vote yet himself, stays neutral too. He does question Kuroi voting Guillo. But then Rob comes in with a banger and catches Guillo's lies and his bait switching with Kuroi/ Mongo. Votes Guillo.
H2F- tries to keep the peace, clears her name of being the silencer, encourages others to keep their mod-confirming powers a secret. Kinda plays the town role well. Doesn't do much sadly, which makes her suspicious.
Mosler- points out that Kurois posts were being deleted. I can't say I saw this but whatever. Also goes on about the silencer spell being very town-like. Defends the wagon votes on me.
Kuroi- kicks us off with his silenced posts. Immediately followed up by Guillo saying he was likely silenced. And then right after Guillo even states "Unless he is faking the silence." He then votes Guillo in response. Then votes himself. Guillo defends him, wants him to live through the day to explain himself. As deadline approaches he votes Hype.
DAY TWO OBSERVATIONS: honestly Kuroi flip flopping about just looks bad. He draws unnecessary attention and everything Guillo hints at seems true. Guillo even tries to save him, as if their ruse is failing on them now. Plus he deadline votes me too, the dick. Mongo and Rob are town in my books following their actions on Day Two. Both voted scum and both did so with good points. Whether that was a great lead by Mongo that Rob followed on, or scum cannibalizing their own as death is near I don't know. But it's not coming off as scummy to me. And Mosler had good points to make, and I've gone back to the neighborhood to confirm - he's defo been more active there than I gave him credit for. And he also nailed Guillo without realizing it.

In the RNG MAFIA DAY/NIGHT chat after announcing day two and specifically telling us not to post behind stuff there....people posted.
Kuroi posted his Ognom rp and then Hype asked to check out Mosler. Then everyone (except I guess me) were removed.
That sounds an awful lot like an action that doesn't fit your description and it doesn't make sense if you're in the same crew as as Mosler that you'd investigate him.
In short: You've lied somewhere in your defense and because of that I am going to...

Oh so it was all a joke hmmm? I've heard politicians make that claim when they get caught. How many times does it need to be said, "IF YOU'RE NOT SCUM DON'T ACT SCUMMY." I already had suggested that I had a feeling you had a detecting role and you should have explained the "joke" situation then when I gave you the chance- that's what transparency would have been.

Anyway I've made my pitch, I still think Kuroi might be bluffing the whole silencer thing. To go one step further Steele didn't repremand him for all his quotes and such, a classic sign he might not have been silenced at all. I've more or less vouched for you being town, but I am telling you - I too am a town man person.

I'm picking this up tomorrow, as I'm in a different timezone and tired as hell. I will say I believe that Hype was joking... and shot him a dirty look for said running nickname gag. Although I may post Kuroi promos in future town chats just to check moderator reactions (Ognom is the bomb, btw).
I didn't see that as an investigator claim, and I'm not actually sure we have an investigator. In terms of the roles we've seen revealed thus far, there seem to be a lot based on communication, but none of the usual occupation suspects. Assumptions on roles hopelessly confused Day 2 - I almost jumped on Seth for claiming neighbour, but him & Kuroi both denied the title thrown on them.
It wouldn't shock me if we had a third party running around here, but Mongo, I doubt we have a cult. Maverick ran one, and it was so clusterfuck broken there is no way Steele would sully his game with it. Plus the high mortality rate of this game would have revealed a member.
Exhausted, I will do reads tomorrow.

Actually, has Mongo played in the last four games? That would explain the missed gag.
Mongo that town talk "investigate ole Mosler Mos" is direct quote to something kira did 3-4 games back. The nickname infuriated me to the point, where it's been used in a couple of town chats since... frequently followed by bootings.

For clarity’s sake, I booted everyone from the day/night change thread because Kuroi wasn’t supposed to post his RP there and wanted it to remain private.
If Hype made a boo boo and showed his hand - not confirming that he did, not confirming that he didn’t - it had nothing to do with the booting.
Me saying “don’t post here” was just a reminder that it was a public thread, if someone posted revealing info then that was their own mistake. |
