Yep, I was gaming and completely missed that deadline, even so I’d have probably held firm for two reasons, one I was more certain on Guilo than I was Hype at that time, and two, I hadn’t yet cleared something up about my role and voting, so would have likely erred on the side of caution to not needlessly get myself killed in the process.

I've got a admin meeting this morning but will be back to see if I am limited to voting options before what I think is the deadline so we don't decide something ELSE on the RNG. This is too important to leave to the RNG.

Seth pushed pretty hard on DT day 1.

Earlier today when Mongo asked him to address that push, Seth responded with two sentences... neither of which mentioned that DT was a mistake, and instead vaguely tied himself to the other victim (Caffrey) in the spirit of friendship. If anyone was watching Seth last night, they would have seen him visit Caffrey. Apparently this was to deliver a gift. We have two dead bodies, and Seth pushed on one, and has admitted to being near the other. No one has explored this idea because Rob immediately decided Seth was a neighbour... a mistake that Seth took his time correcting.

The above is all circumstantial, no smoking guns, and I'd be willing to let it go - even though one of the better players has as many red flags as Guillotina - who is playing like a jester Draven. However, jumping on Kuroi's HYPE vote is a massive red flag.

On even-numbered nights, any actions directed at h2f would be redirected to another random player. She also had access to the Neighbourhood chat.

If Mosler was killed at night he would explode, killing his attacker. He also had access to the Neighbourhood chat. (Poor Guillo, all left out and shit...)

So that just leaves our townies:

KUROI - A JACK-OF-ALL-TRADES

1x Lynchproof - He would survive the first lynch he fell victim to (yes that would have included this one)
1x Gladiator - He could challenge up to two other players, and restrict voting to himself and the other player(s) for the rest of the day
1x Bus Driver - He could switch two players at night, all actions that happened to Player A would happen to Player B, and vice versa

HYPERION - A VENGE VANILLA-ISER & NEIGHBOUR

If Hype was lynched, he could choose any player to strip all non-factional abilities away from for the rest of the game.

ROB ARNOLD - A DOUBLE-PRIEST

Rob managed to get BOTH versions of Priest in one role (I had to veto so many times for his additional role, I swear I didn't just put them together)

He was restricted, on pain of instant death, from actively casting a hammer vote (Though casting a vote that proved to be the deciding one at deadline would not trigger the modkill).

Once during the game and during the day phase, he could "throw Holy Water" at another player - if that player was anti-town then they would die. IF they were town, Rob would die.

So there you have it guys, that's what happens when you leave the setup of a game (almost) entirely to chance.

Would I do it again? Eh... probably not in this exact way. It took a hell of a long time to come up with my process, whittle the list of potential roles down, etc. NOt to mention actually drawing the roles - SO MANY had to be vetoed because they just wouldn't work in some way or another.

I might run a variant in the future, but a much more stripped-down version. Like, we know there will be a protective role but you don't know if it's doctor or babysitter, there might be a "watching" role but you don't know if it'll be watcher, tracker, voyeur, etc.

I'd also probably take a more "hands-on" approach to building the roles. For instance, Kuroi wouldn't have been able to use that Gladiator ability with three hours remaining until deadline but... well that's how the RNG turned up this game. It was a 50/50 chance that he would be allowed to use it all day, or only in the first half and he got lucky. Or... unlucky I guess because town died.

Because this game wasn't balanced in the slightest it got a little stale once certain roles (aka Caff and DT) were out. H2F and Mosler's roles were effectively useless by the start of day 2 as there was no way for them to get nightkilled. I think literally the only thing that COULD have happened is if Adrien babysat h2f and she redirected him onto Mosler, then she nightkills Adrien which would have caused all three of them to die.


My favourite bits from this game:

- Kira screwing himself on Day 1 by voting DT in order to make the votes 2-2 and give himself a 50/50 chance of surviving... when he could have just voted for No Lynch and definitely lived.

- The very real possibility, had Caff managed to fish successfullly for his gun on Night 0, that we could have seen DT hit someone with a Vig kill, Caff hit another with his vig kill, Adrien protect Mosler and get nightkilled, thus setting off the bomb on the original scum killer - resulting in FIVE night one deaths.

- Kuroi Bus Drove Seth and DT on NIght 1, correctly predicting scum would go after him, and he did the driving purely because he wanted DT dead.

- Guillo was the only scum player to EVER get voted against in this game.

- Mosler did some really good work pulling those votes away from Guillo on Day 2.

- That good work was all for naught though as Adrien pulled off what may be one of the best plays I have ever seen, pinning Guillo as scum and also calling his own nightkill so he babysat Guillo to ensure he took a scum down with him.

- And I'd like to direct you back to Day 1 and this Kuroi quote...
