The rain drops rippled into the puddles on the concrete as Chris "Trigger" Cavanagh stepped out from The Blarney Stone. A flame extended from Trigger's hand, lighting his cigarette. Trigger took a drag before speaking.
It's funny how things have been going so far since The Celtic Club got to Northern Pro. We tell these morons in the locker room exactly what we are going to do, exactly what is going to happen to them at point blank range and they still feel that they have the opportunity to change their destiny. Since Gus Arnold brought John in, then myself and then finally Andy Boy we have been doing exactly what John said we would do--dominate the competition.
Trigger shook his head and laughed.
What's funny is that Gus Arnold keeps picking some other piece of garbage to go out and lose to us on a constant basis. You'd think he'd just tell his talent to stay in the back and left the referees count to ten--just hand us the win and the paycheck for the overall safety of his fragile little wrestlers. Last time we went out here it was Andy and I taking The Wrecking Crew and making an absolute mockery of them. Those poor bastards are still sitting at home, licking their wounds knowing that they didn't have what it took to hang with the most feared unit in all of professional wrestling!
Trigger took another, he exhaled through his nose and spit to the ground.
And you people wanna know what disgusts me? Its rhetorical, I'm just going to assume you dumb schmucks do! This show Gus Arnold thinks the one to bring his ticket sales and ratings up is me against Leon Van Zandt? Come on man--are you shitting me or something? Leon Van Zandt...more like Leon Van Can't. Leon, this is the same sorry piece of shit that had the opportunity to get that title opportunity in their back pocket but couldn't get it done back at Vicious Valentine's. Leon went in that ring with my big brother and what happened? Who won that again? Oh yeah, John fucking Cavanagh took that one home. Now, we got this entire roster shook because they don't know when Johnnie is going to take our opportunity and cash it on on some unsuspecting champion. Guess there's really only two options as far as people at the moment though. Leon...I gotta know man...what makes you think you are better than me?
Trigger shook his head before taking another drag.
If you couldn't get it done against one member of The Celtic Club--what makes you think you can climb in my ring and get the job done against THIS member of The Celtic Club? What is it because John is the BIG brother? John is the older brother? John is the one with all of the World Championships? Is that why people like Leon Van Zandt and Gus Arnold think that Trigger Cavanagh doesn't have what it takes to put them in their place just the same? I can't believe this shit--really? This kind of shit happens everywhere we go...it's like Trig has to prove himself because he's a little smaller, a little younger, a little more obnoxious and a little more cocky.
Trigger put the cigarette back in his mouth, he took another drag while cracking his knuckles.
That seems to be why after John gets done with someone, or before John faces someone--the assholes controlling the book always think "hey, let's throw the guy in a match with Trigger". Real original, Gus.
Trigger took another drag and removed the cigarette from his mouth.
Leon you lost a career altering opportunity when Johnnie won that opportunity and now about a month and a half later it seems as if you're looking for a little payback against The Celtic Club now. I know damn well when one of us gets our hands on someone like Lord Dominicus who has actually defeated one of us--it won't be pretty. Problem is, you're not myself, you're not Johnnie and you ain't Andy Donahue so I'm pretty certain that you don't have what it takes to make that kind of vendetta workout for ya. Well, I'll take on Gus Arnold's cliche booking, I'll take on your hopes and aspirations of a little payback--and I'll overcome both of those hurdles. Hurdles? What the fuck am I talking about--speed bumps, at best, possibly a smell pebble in the road. See, that's the difference between people like myself and people like you Leon. I don't look at others as a challenge, I don't look at my opponents as a threat to defeating me...I know how good I am and I know that 99.9% of the people in this world just ain't in the same class.
Trigger took another drag from his cigarette before flicking it into the rain.
I came to Northern Pro, following my brother, to pick up some wins and head to the winner's window--and that is exactly what I'm going to be doing after out match. Leon, remember how it felt to go to the loser's window after you heard a Cavaagh's name being announced as the winner in your first encounter with my family? Yeah, I'm sure you do...now do me and yourself a favor, prepare to have that same exact feeling overcome your body after our match. Doesn't matter if its a Bloody Sunday or a Coup de Grace. Doesn't matter if you bring your A game or if you mail it in that day--there ain't no way in hell Leon Van Zandt is going to beat Trigger Cavanagh. The Celtic Club, we're out for blood...we're out to put each and every single one of you Gus Arnold boys in your places. You know where your place is Leon? Your place is beneath us, an inferior talent not worthy of sharing the same ring as The Celtic Club.
Scene cuts to static.
