A single fire burns on an empty rocky beach, the waters crash against the shores before the camera draws back to reveal two figures standing near the shore. The tide surges in, spray lashing across the rocks as the ocean batters against the stones. The wind snaps across the beach, the fire flaring and snapping around wildly in the darkness in grim black and white. The taller of the two figures stands, shaking out a long leather coat before the hooded figure walks towards the raging surf. A grim metal skull looks out from beneath the hood, gleaming in the light as the figure speaks in cold voice that rises about the crashing waves. 'They have as a king over them the angel of the bottomless pit; his name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek he is called Apollyn.'
The figure pauses, and folds his hands behind him as he walks back towards the fire. The wind catching his coat, billowing it around wildly before he spoke again. A hand lifting absently, gesturing at nothing. 'The void calls to this place. The Abyss rages against it here where sky meets sky, and so it already knows the song of Oblivion. It already hears the call of the Void. It already knows of the cold and darkness that wait for it.'
The mask gleams, reflecting the fire light as the wind howls again. The flames snap and blaze upwards, sparks flying around the figure in a cloud of glowing ash. And the figure nods to itself, and the hands flooded behind his back. Head tilting, and the mask glances towards the other hooded figure before the voice speaks again. 'In destruction, it will be purified. In chaos, it will be forged anew. And it wll sate the hunger of the Void, before being born anew. Born in the darkness, brought back from the ash. This is inevitable, this is inescapable, the hour is upon them.'
The figure fell silent, and there was only the crash of the waves as the wind continued to howl across the empty beach. The fire crackled again, billowing higher as sparks danced around it in the wind before the figure shrugged it's shoulders. A slow turn, and the camera followed as the hand lifted to slowly close and open into a fist before he spoke again. 'The Herald of Oblivion is upon you, the Scourge is here. And the Abyss? The Abyss calls.'
The smaller figure rose, and a feminine hand reached out to push the camera away as the scene ended.
