Odd we get a night 0 kill in a 7 person game. Who would kill hype? Mongo. Mongo would. Vote: MongoPeople talked about "being hyped" when they are excited. They use the term to "hype" up others for various activities. And even something can be "hype" when it is interesting or neat. The entire concept of "hype" though means nothing, ultimately. And as was proven last night, without hype nothing changes. Are we more or less without hype? Ultimately nothing has been different than if something else had been proclaimed dead among us. Hype, it would seem, was just another cog in the endless cycle of monotony that we call life. *He takes a breath* What is death? The ultimate end to everything. We struggle through our lives to try to be hyped. To have the energy possessed by our former president Kanyon- another meaningless title when it comes to it. Nothing in this world is certain except for death, and me winning tag titles. Beyond that we are all racing towards death as fast as we can, wondering if there is anything after this game of life. There is nothing. There is only death and it will claim us all, beyond that we just strive and struggle and scratch and claw until we get there. Desperately trying to escape death and retain our hype throughout. Such is the way of life. *He takes another breath, isn't there usually like another guy who covers half of these?* I have been accused by another of taking the hype from our ranks. But he is mistaken, I never believed in hype in the first place. The only thing I trust in is me and my tag partner, and death. I have no interest in bringing others to a faster death for that is their own business. I have seen people die and that is nothing I want to sully my own hands with- even though I don't believe in their blood or even their existence, only death and me and my partner. So to accuse me of such things is a waste of your time, time which is already ticking away to mark our own eventual deaths. *Huff huff, for real how does he do this?* Would you kill your mirror image? Perhaps. Perhaps we all hate who we are inside a little, and perhaps those little hatreds spur on our ultimate ends milliseconds faster. It matters not. Vote me, don't vote me; the end will likely be the same. For all of us are marked men until this finishes. Until then though, there is nothing but the void calling us as we randomly point fingers like children. Innocent to the wolves among us who only seek to further tear us apart. Go ahead, do your worst; I embrace it.

"Right."
There was no doubt in his mind that he was weary of who to trust out of these two idiots. The possibility of them being the person, or people, who have stolen the fire was up in the air.
"Already gathered a few things, Kanyon (HYPE) is gone. Donny (Dave) and Esmur (Mongo) are the only ones speaking up. To be rather honest with you all, I don't trust anyone right now. I definitely don't trust a Nihilist. I'd rather be hearing from others before I can judge on who stole the fire and who took out Kanyon." Rolling her eyes. "All I know is that I've been dragged over here as a possible suspect, which is absolutely bizarre in itself, but I digress -- I'm just here to help out if anything, with very minimal ways of seeking out clues other than just guessing from personalities or little slip ups those might make."

Kanyon was a man who clung to the ghost of power to a degree that is frankly ludicrous. His downfall was inevitable, pathetic as he may of been. Far too insignificant for someone of my caliber to pay any notice to.
(Jesus, how do you do this? I feel like I'm trying to write Mindless Self Indulgence lyrics.)

Let me tell you something about FIRESIDE mafia, we need to find who the scum is and that Day zero kill is a twist but it kind of puts us at a massive disadvantage that they got the free hit because we have nothing to go on.

People struggle with their feelings. Feelings of doubt, feelings of anger, feelings of happiness. Feelings are meaningless ultimately, when really one should only focus on their eventual downfallls. The grinder of death awaits all of us and after that there is no feeling at all. In fact, our own feelings, as they were, are all relative. What makes one happy may make another sad. Although some feel down about Kanyon's loss, others feel fine. Your feelings are not infinite, they are just scraps of paper that will eventually be burned up, some sooner, some later.
*Sucks wind*
As we muse confusedly over the early end to the former president, we should not forget our own path. As it stands right now, there is one vote on me- I care not; vote if you will. But for those of you not paying attention, along with the night zero kill we are also at a majority- and probably deadline lynch. One could probably hide a random set of votes such as "lol vote mongo" and end up getting a free kill as the rest of us ponder what to do. As it turns out, humor is also relative in that sense- and a cover for darker feelings. Not that it matters, the reaper faces us all and we just soldier on until that.

The want to respond as my character, not my mafia character, but my FIRESIDE character is so strong. God this is hard to pin on anyone, Mongo's so far the only one to try an define anything.

With one vote, Mongo perishes! I would describe it here, but essentially... well... I don't condone hazing... but that might have gotten a bit out of hand. Who was he? {Spoiler}{ The Mongo reveal is...} You are Esmur, a vanilla town member of the town. Currently the FIRESIDE world champion, shrouded in mystery, little is known about these two men (Esmur and Gebin) except that they have taken an interest in Fireside and that something happened to them in their lives that caused them to forsake belief in anything but in each other and their talents. They only aim for victory. They don't show much in the way of emotion in terms of joy or sorrow or anger and tend to be very monotone but with a quiet intensity in the ring. They forsake pandering to the crowd, or taunting at the crowd or the opponents. They are all business and want to reclaim their place atop the XHF Tag Team Division. They extol the virtues of nothingness and frivolous beliefs in silly things. They discovered the AWF in their quest to find meaning beyond themselves (a quest they consider complete and a failure), and claim to have once taken part in the Church of Hyperion though left early on when they felt he was another charlatan. Esmur clearly has a background in the technical side of wrestling. He can fly but prefers to ground his foes and let Gebin do the flying. Having returned from a long hiatus after Gebin was seriously injured by their former ally Natasha they have decided to return to what made them great and to bring the darkness to a new place and just maybe … extinguish the fires of those in Fireside. As of February 2021, Esmur has claimed a world championship and Gebin has returned to singles action as well. The two have made it their mission to use their unique viewpoint on the world to get more people to live life to the fullest now and make life worth living. Day will resume within hours of us getting all night actions in, we're going to try to keep nights as short as possible to allow for the 48 hour days. Get those NAs in, baby!

In the night.... ...Mav died! Who was he?
You are MYOJIN, a vanilla town member of the town.
Shouta Kuromiya was born in Namba, Osaka, Japan before his family moved to California in the late 90s. Shouta when growing up was always interested in the world of combative sports. Mainly thanks to his family. The Kuromiya family was filled with a few generations of MMA fighters, including Shouta’s father. He grew up with a love for professional wrestling and both MMA, and instantly at a young age wanted to be like his predecessors. So of course as he grew up, he trained at every chance he had and got into professional MMA. He also had an affinity for rock and metal, more specifically loving the styles and larger than life personalities most rockstars had. His career showed that he was a natural at the sport once he began his career at 18 years old, sporting a win-loss record of 12-4-1. He wasn’t the absolute best, but he was a shining star of the light heavyweight division. He was known for being usually upbeat and also an arrogant hotshot at times, and loved to take all the spotlight. Something which earned him the nickname, Myojin- shining deity. After a while, however, Shouta recently had wanted to try something new. Something different. As someone who loved pro wrestling, he wanted to become a wrestler. And his family still supported his decision, so he began to train and become ready. Using his liking for stage personas and music as inspiration, he created his wrestling persona- MYOJIN, a glamorous and flamboyant, over the top character that helped him stand out. Not too long on the indies, he was considered a promising rookie in the business for his unique blend of high-flying acrobatics and technical ability. It didn’t take long for him to eventually find himself getting a chance to fight at high profile promotions, like FIRESIDE.[/quote] Day begins! Day ends in 48 hours. Future nights will be 24 hours with night actions being rnged if they're not all in on time.
