We open up tonights show with a live performance by Dir En Grey. Performing their new single, Oboro, out April 28th. After the song plays we pan across the venue to see the river on one side and a beautiful mountain in the background of the other side. We finally rest the shot on MUSHI and Psycho KGB.
Psycho KGB: "(Thanks to Dir En Grey providing our theme for tonights show. Their latest single, Oboro is out April 28th everywhere, where music is sold or streamed. Thank you fans for joining us again tonight as we have the aftermath of last months ppv looming on us.)"
MUSHI: "(There's the return of E.V.E. taking on dominion, we also have one hell of an opener with Dylan Black fighting Brendan Harding too. Not to mention Dodo-A-Gogo taking on Off The Wagon and that New Wave Title match too!)"
Psycho KGB: "(And who can forget about the main event for tonight?)"
MUSHI: "(I know i can't!)"
Psycho KGB: "(One half of last years Sakura Tag League winners, Jason Long, will take on the almighty STRiFE. He really showed his disrespect for the champ last month making the challenge, but we'll just have to see if he gets it beaten into him tonight.)"
MUSHI: "(We have this and more coming your way tonight!)"
Match One: JROK Singles Rules; 30 Minute Time Limit
Dylan Black Vs. Brendan Harding
Dylan Black Vs. Brendan Harding
Psycho KGB: "(We got an awesome match to kick off tonight's show! Dylan Black takes on Brendan Harding to kick off the night!)"
MUSHI: "(The former XHF X*Crown Champion takes on the significant other of the current XHF Junior Heavyweight Champion! Fox has definitely given his lover some hints and it shows! We get to see what these two come up with!)"
Fumio Daemura: “(This match is set for one fall! Introducing first, in the blue corner, he is Dylan Black! And his opponent, in the red corner, he is Brendan Harding!)”
The bell rings with Brendan jumping right in on Dylan. He's quick to show major improvements, utilizing the striking style that Fox is well known for with his own unpredictable offense. He would handle Dylan for the first bit of the match, making a few near-falls and even almost securing a submission victory via the Camden Lock!
However, once Dylan got out of that submission it was all hands on deck for the former X*Crown Champion. Being the more experienced of the pair, he was quick to wear down the young Dr Zen, stretching and wearing him down with authority. Despite having no qualms with the young Harding, delivers some of the stiffest strikes you've seen!
Backed into a corner, Brendan catches a chop and headbutts Dylan! As Dylan staggers back, Brendan roars our with a superkick! Dylan's leveled in the ring, and Harding climbs the ropes. He hits Dylan with a big splash! No, Dylan gets the knees up! Dylan rolls Brendan over and pulls the arms back, DYNAMIC OUTRO! DYNAMIC OUTRO! From there it's inevitable, and the 3-count is made.
Fumio Daemura: “(Your winner of this match… Dylan Black!)”
Match Two: JROK Tag Team Rules; 30 Minute Time Limit
E.V.E. (BBW & Darlene Price) Vs. The Dominion
E.V.E. (BBW & Darlene Price) Vs. The Dominion
Psycho KGB: “(Next up we’ll see for the first time in over a year, E.V.E. teaming up again to take on The Dominion.)”
MUSHI: “(Darlene came back last month to make her ring debut in JROK. she became the first to beat Dylan Black in JROK since he won the X*Crown.)”
Fumio Daemura: “(This match is set for one fall and is a tag team match! Introducing first, in the blue corner, They are The Dominion! And their opponents, in the red corner, they are E.V.E.)”
The match would start off as dangerous and violent as one might expect. Lots of stiff strikes by both teams and big power moves as well. We’d even see a super kick/enzugiri combo from Dominion called the Roppongi Violence Party Side A. it’d get a one count.
E.V.E. would manage to gain control of the match after the second half and lay in some big moves into Dominion. BBW would land a devastating power bomb before Dar would hit a frog splash and get a two for it. There’d be tons of double team and tag moves from both teams leading to the end. By the end Alex would go for a diving splash only to get hit with the RU486 cutter and eat the one, two, three.
Fumio Daemura: “(Your winners of this match… E.V.E.!)”
As E.V.E. stands victorious, Raijin storms the ring to begin a sneak attack against Bigby and Dar, when a flash of black is seen and Raijin is claymored out of his boots! The camera pans up to show an angry, heavily breathing DYLAN BLACK!
MUSHI: “(What the hell? What’s Dylan doing out here? His match was already over, he should be headed to the airport to go to the Rumble by now!)”
That’s when Dylan turns around, and stares down at Dar! The crowd gets hyped as their New Japan Death Match is still fresh on the minds!
Psycho KGB: “(I think we know what he’s here for! He’s here to exact a little revenge on Dar!)”
Dylan takes a step towards Dar. His face expressionless. Staring down as she just grins and tells him to bring it on! And Dylan… he just sticks a hand out to Dar.
MUSHI: “(What?)”
Psycho KGB: “(He’s luring her in. Get ready!)”
Dar just smirks and takes the hand. Dylan pulls her to her feet, and Dar stands there defiant. Waiting. And Dylan just sticks a fist in the air.. Bigby joins them, eyes wide as Dar stares wide eyed at Dylan.
Psycho KGB: “(Come on Dylan, they’ve fallen for the ruse now. Bring out the blood!)”
MUSHI: “(Psycho, I don’t think this is a step towards their next fight...)”
Dar is the next to stick her fist in the air, and after some hesitation Bigby follows! The three grin at each other and stare into the camera, evil in their eyes!
Psycho KGB: “(...oh no...)”
MUSHI: “(I think we just witnessed the birth of a deadly alliance.)”
Bigby, Dar and Dylan exit the ring, Dar still with an evil grin on her face as we fade to commercial.
Match Three: JROK Tag Team Rules; 30 Minute Time Limit
Dodo-A-Gogo Vs. Super Sake Presents: Off The Wagon
Dodo-A-Gogo Vs. Super Sake Presents: Off The Wagon
Psycho KGB: “(Dodo-A-Gogo back in tag team action going against Super Sake Presents: Off The Wagon, in what can be considered a little bit of a rematch from the Magical Mystery Tournament.)”
MUSHI: “(Why are you referring to them like that?)”
Psycho KGB: “(Everyones doing it!)”
MUSHI: “(It’s actually just you and them doing it.)”
Fumio Daemura: “(This match is scheduled for one fall and is a tag team match! Introducing first, in the red corner, they are the team of Anna Daniels and Lisa Frankenstein… they are Dodo-A-Gogo! And their opponents… in the blue corner, the team of Kris Quake and Randy Angel, Super Sake Presents: Off The Wagon!)”
Psycho KGB: “(Haha! Fumio calls ‘em that too!)”
The bell would ring and we’d start off with some lock ups and chain wrestling from Lisa and Randy. At least what you could call chain wrestling from Randy. It looked decent actually, until he fell over from all the spinning he was doing on a wrist lock. He’d get dizzy and fall into a neutral corner. Lisa would rush him and go for a yakuza kick, but he’d fall over right before and begin crawling over to his corner. Before he could tag out Anna would big boot Quake off the apron.
This would be a common scene in the match though, no not the Randy making a fool of himself, although that seems to happen quiet often too. But the whole him not being able to tag out part. Dodo would work together to keep them at bay, essentially slicing the ring in half at one portion of the match. Even getting some near falls on Angel. But the drunken legend just wouldn’t go down.
Like seriously this guy went from not being able to stand, to not being able to not stand! Anna would hit some beautiful high flying moves and Lisa would land some painful strikes. Randy would get some sneaky pins here and there and even hit a sick looking middle rope ddt. That move right there is what gave him the chance to tag in Kris and boy, did he take it!
Once Quake came into the ring, the match turned around. A complete 180. No matter what Dodo-A-Gogo tried they just couldn’t get anything to keep them down. They’d go for the Necronomicon, but Kris would move out of the way, well he was pushed out of the way by Randy, who took the bullet for him. What a good tag team partner he is! Kris would take out Lisa with a Drought running yakuza kick and finish off the match with a Park Place pedigree on Anna for the pin.
Fumio Daemura: “(Your winners of this match… Super Sake Presents: Off The Wagon!)”
Kira Izumi shows up on the screen, clearly he's not anywhere near the venue tonight. He has a smug smirk on his face as he lets out a chuckle.
Kira Izumi: "(First i'd like ta start off by tellin’ everyone our new stable name. From now on please refer to me, Carnivore, Killa Kai, an’ James Raymond as UZUMAKI. But that's one of many things I needed ta get addressed an’ checked off my list. Secondly, no members of UZUMAKI are anywhere near the venue, much less the city tonight. In fact we're on our way ta the next city as i speak.)"
We zoom out and can see Kira on what looks like a plane.
Kira Izumi: "(Another thing, Solomon Graham, ya’ve earned my respect to some degree after our match last month in FWA. But that doesn’t mean i respect yer style’r yer promotion. I’ve a feelin’ this war between us has only started, but for now, we’ll just leave it at this. Ye got lucky you little punk an’ it won’t happen when in neutral territory’r here in Japan.)”
He says confidently as he continues on. Now with an angry and irritated expression on his face.
Kira: Izumi: “(Finally, there’s a little pest who’s been trying to chip away at this fine promotion for months now. Olympia and the rest of PURE. Yer heinous acts of violence will not go unnoticed. Yer lucky we don’t press charges on you scum for assaulting us!)”
He says as he starts getting worked up.
Kira Izumi: “(Ya punks will fight one our time, not yers. If you want to fight us it’ll be under our terms. Under our conditions. Olympia Lucas and Zakk. You three will take on me, Killa and Carnivore in a ladder match for a contract. Yer contracts to be exact.)”
Kira laughs now, at what he’s said.
Kira Izumi: “(You see, if you win, you keep your jobs and you get your sweet revenge. But… if you lose…)”
Now a smile appears on his face. Stretching from ear to ear.
Kira Izumi: “(If your team loses, well, your contracts are null and void. Yer done in J-ROK. Finished. Yer fired. Those are our conditions. That is the match you will accept if you want to get yer hands on us. And you three will be dealt with. Let this be an example to Dexter and Deco. Let this be an example to everyone! You want to bite the hand that feeds, you will get a bullet put through the back of yer fuckin’ skulls like a mangey mutt you fucking are! Now have a good night, it may be one of yer last!)”
Match Four: JROK New Wave Championship Match; JROK Singles Rules; 60 Minute Time Limit
MECHA HARAMBE Vs. SERO(C.)
MECHA HARAMBE Vs. SERO(C.)
Psycho KGB: “(We got one hell of a match for you folks in our semi-main event for tonight. SERO takes on the one and only, MECHA HARAMBE!)”
MUSHI: “(This should be a good one folks!)”
Fumio Daemura: “(This match is set for one fall at a sixty minute time limit and is for the J-ROK New Wave Championship! Introducing first, in the blue corner, standing in at 5’10 and weighing in at 258 pounds… coming from Skull Island… he is MECHA HARAMBE!)”
MECHA beats his chest and roars as his name is called.
Fumio Daemura: “(And his opponent, in the red corner, standing in at 6’2 and weighing in at 227 pounds, coming from Settsu, Osaka, Japan… he is the REIGNING DEFENDING J-ROK New Wave Champion… he is… SERO!)”
This match would start off fairly slow paced and cautious. Both men taking some time to feel one another out with holds and lock ups. Both men are fairly even early on in this stage of the match. HARAMBE would bridge SERO over one of his knees, putting pain into his spine. SERO’d manage to get a leg through the arms of MECHA and kick him in the face one good time, creating room for an armbar.
We’d see HARAMBE deadlift the japanese competitor and slam him hard into the mat. We’d see him lift him back up and hit buckle bomb soon after. SERO would bounce off it with a lariat, knocking both men down for a moment. SERO would continue working those arms through out the match as MECHA would work his back with big bombs and powerful slams.
MECHA would even lock in his Big Bad Harambe Daddy Lock α, his take on the steiner recliner. SERO would be hurting badly, screaming even. But he’d manage to cause MECHA’s grip to slip after some shots towards his arms and break free. They’d both get up to their feet now, with SERO hitting a hook kick and then a round house to knock him down.
Building some momentum he’d drop him with a saito suplex and then a tiger suplex, ending the onslaught with a bridging german for a two count. Kenjiro would hit him with a rolling wheel kick after dodging a lariat from the mechanized guerilla. He’d hit a jumping knee and then an axe kick too, finishing it off with a Tenchi Kaijin bloody cross and locking in a wakigatame armbar to really drive home his point. His opponent would be left not choice, but to tap.
Fumio Daemura: “(Your winner of this match and still J-ROK New Wave Champion… SERO!)”
STRiFE: A few years ago, I brought my best friend to the first Mach 20 Tournament. She didn’t know much about wrestling at the time. And she damn sure had never seen me do damage in person. I wanted to show out. But more importantly, I wanted to show her why I’d returned to the ring.
Fade in.
The SUPER Visual Kei Champions sits on a workout bench. Her face and upper body are drenched in sweat. A swipe of a dry black towel allows her to continue on.
STRiFE: That night was amazing, to say the least. I won my match, of course. But I also planted the seeds of growth in a future world champion.
A head nod.
STRiFE: You see, my girl Niko had been entrenched in organized martial arts basically since she was in the womb. Her parents are practitioners of various styles, and it was decided very on that she would walk that path. And truthfully? There’s nothing wrong with martial arts. I style practice them on the side to this day―
A pause.
STRiFE: But many arts are shourreded in tradition. They can be confining. They can be constricting. And whether she wants to admit it or not, I could tell that was happening to Niko. She needed a little injection of freedom into her life.
A faint smile appears. It quickly fades away.
STRiFE: My goal was to show her the joys of wrestling. However, it would have been negligent to simply stop there. And so, I also had to teach her about the dark side of this sport.
Another head nod.
STRiFE: All that freedom? It comes with a hefty price tag. The dregs of society often find solace in this sport. The scum of the earth grow roots in professional wrestling’s awesome soil. And little by little, this sport, this environment, it will take something from you. It might be your pureness. It might be your established relationships. It might be your sanity. But the cost is great.
Silence lingers for a moment.
STRiFE: People look at my reign as the J-ROK Visual Kei Champion with eyes of envy. They bow down and pray to the heavens that they could be given such an opportunity. They believe being a good champion means that you just have to lift the belt up and smile for pictures. But those people are fools. They are fools because they don’t understand the weight of holding up the strap.
A moment passes.
STRiFE: Jason Long? Let me make something clear to you. I do not care what prestigious promotion that you hail from. I do not care about how many belts you’ve hoisted up. I do not care about how bold and fearless you claim to be. One fact rings true―you aren’t worthy to hold the Visual Kei Championship.
Another moment.
STRiFE: Jason? You’re nothing more than another fly-by-night dude that J-ROK has invited into intersanctum. You haven’t been in J-ROK grinding. You haven’t been building and fortifying this promotion. You haven’t been here crafting a legacy. You were off doing God knows what before you showed up at Dusk Till Dawn before you showed up and prematurely declared yourself the champion. And that is the reason why you’ll never touch my belt. You’re nothing more than an opportunist and leech. You’re not more than another outside person that wants profit from the hard work of everyone in this company―
A smirk appears.
STRiFE: But I won’t let that happen. Once again, I’ll play the role of J-ROK’s savior and defend this company from the scum at its doorstep. Keep that energy from earlier in the month, Jason. Don’t fear me. Because that lack of fear means that I can be free and be the monster that I truly am.
A head nod.
She goes to say something else, but she stops herself. Instead, she smirks once more before the camera fades to black.
Match One: JROK Visual Kei Championship Match; Cage Match Rules; 60 Minute Time Limit
Jason Long Vs. STRiFE(C.)
Jason Long Vs. STRiFE(C.)
Psycho KGB: "(Jason Long stepped up to challenge STRiFE last month. The multitime world champion and former X*Crown champion is no slouch or no joke based on his accolades alone. He's even taken Hanako Takeuchi to her limits and was one half of the winners of last years Sakura Tag League Tournament. This match is going to be a treat to say the least folks, hold on tight, because you're in for one hell of a ride!)"
MUSHI: "(He's one hell of a wrestler, maybe one of the most controversial ones in history, but he's facing the most dominant and dangerous wrestlers to ever step foot in J-ROK. Male or female. STRiFE has been undefeated for over a year now, in fact the last time she did lose was a tag team match against a recently returned Darlene Price. But tonight, her challenger is the Kingslayer, we'll see soon enough if he can talk the talk AND walk the walk. Down to Fumio for ring introductions.)"
Fumio Daemura: "(This match is set for one fall and is for the J-ROK Visual Kei Championship! Introducing first... in the blue corner, standing in at 5’11 and weighing in at 195 pounds… from Wexford Town, County Wexford, Ireland… he is “King Shit of Fuck Mountain” Jason Long!)”
He steps up and flips off STRiFE, talking more trash to the champion.
Fumio Daemura: “(Introducing next, in the red corner… standing in at 5’4 and weighing in at 122 pounds… coming from Kyoto, Japan… She is the REIGNING DEFENDING J-ROK Visual Kei Champion… She is STRiFE!)”
She steps, raising an arm. Keeping her eyes on her opponent.
The bell rings and the match begins with a lock up. The taller Long gets the advantage early on and manages to get her into a headlock. He’d whip her into the ropes for her to hit him with a running roundhouse kick right into the chest. The early stages of the match would repeat this sort of back and forth style. Long would use his height to get a small advantage and STRiFE would use her thunderous strikes and skill to rebound back with something to stop his momentum.
STRiFE would go for a thrust kick, but it’d get dodged. Jason would go for a spinning hook kick, but it’d get dodged too. STRiFE would counter with a uraken. It’d get catched by the challenger, who’d land a nasty snap dragon suplex, a move he calls Inception. A bridge and a pin attempt to it.
ONE!
TWO!!
A kick out and a double foot stomp from the champ to his chest. She’d pick him up and land a strike combination, ending it with a flying triangle choke and repeated elbows to the head. Long would get her onto her shoulders and get a one count on a pin before lifting her up into a buckle bomb. STRiFE would come running out of the corner with a running yakuza kick, causing both of them to fall down onto the mat.
Long with a blood dragon mushroom stomp from the top now, he misses though, as the champ rolls out of the way. He tweaks his knee or ankle on the landing. STRiFE notices him limping as she gets up to her feet. She starts to target that leg area for the remainder of the match as well. With kicks and holds, damaging it more. But STRiFE would also hurt her leg later on, missing a kick to her intended target and hitting a ring post on the outside.
For the rest of this match both would target the hurt legs of their opponents. With heel holds, ankle locks, you name it. STRiFE would grab his leg and start stomping it into the ground, knee first. She’d go for a leg lock, but he’d get to the ropes to break the hold.
Jason would get back to his feet hitting a super kick before grabbing her for a dragon screw leg whip. He’d keep hold of the leg and get her into a spinning toe hold, causing pain to shoot up from her knee all the way up to her ankle and toes. She’d manage to kick his leg and get him to loosen his grip though.
At one moment both would go for their finishers, STRiFE for her deadly kawada styled kicks. But she’d fall. This would lead Long going for his patented punt kick. But as he got ready to punt her head clean off her shoulders, his knee would buckle and he’d fall too.
Psycho KGB: “(After just one mistake from both, they’ve now targeted the injured parts of their opponents.)”
MUSHI: “(That’s all it takes though Psycho, one mistake. One bad landing and the momentum of the match can sway from one side to the other. That’s what we’ve seen here numerous times tonight.)”
By the end of the match we’d see both lock each other into submissions. Jason with an ankle lock, STRiFE with a kneebar. Neither of them letting go. If anything they both keep the submissions in tighter, trying to get the other to tap out. But neither will tap out. They know how much this match means. How much this title means. Whether it’s pride or ego, or even something else all together, neither will tap out. Instead they curse and scream at one another, doing all the can to add a little extra damage to the other. By the end of the match though, Jason starts to black out from the pain. It becomes too much for him to handle and he passes out. The ref lifts his arms up…
ONE!
TWO!!
It hits the mat again.
THREE!!!
That’s all she wrote folks. Jason passed out!
Fumio Daemura: “(Your winner of this match and STILL J-ROK Visual Kei Champion… STRiFE!)”
STRiFE uses the ropes to get back up to her feet, she grabs hold of her belt and lifts it in the air, victorious yet again as we fade out into the show’s logo and credits.
