“August Ninth.”
We open up on Steve Awesome as he sits alone in the kitchen of his home. The lights were dark save for a flickering flame nearby.
“My birthday.”
Over one shoulder is the XHF Tag Team Championship. He pats the empty side, the one where the Openweight Championship was supposed to hang.
“You know, I had plans to be a double champion for my birthday D. But you ruined it. And quite honestly, I’m not happy about it. Not happy at all.”

A feminine hand pulls a large butcher knife from the block. It made an eerie “shlink” sound advice the metal rubbed together.
“And I’m not going to sit here and make excuses D.”
Back to Steve Awesome as he glares into the camera.
“I won’t belittle your win. On Day Two of AUgust at the Atlantic, you were the better man. There are not many ways to get around it. You pinned my shoulders to the mat and retained the title. You did it.”
Steve gives the camera a slow clap. The flame from the candle flickered every time the flame came together.
“But as far as I can see now, D. You are on borrowed time.”
Ch-Ch-Ch-Ah-Ah-Ah
The small hand holding the large knife walked through the house slowly. But it seemed to know exactly where it was going. Down the halls of the movie star home. To one specific room.
“That’s right D. Borrowed time. See, you may have been the better man at August at the Atlantic, but that is as far as it goes. See, as a true champion I’ve watched the tape back. I know where I went wrong. I shouldn’t have held back. I shouldn’t have let myself become distracted.”
He shakes his fist in anger.
“But it’s all good. I’ve seen the way you barely got past Donzig, I’ve seen the way you barely got past me, and I can tell that the championship warrior that is D is crumbling up against the challenges. Sooner or later we are all going to see that crink in the armor and big dumb stupid vampire boy will be no more.”
Ch-Ch-Ch-Ah-Ah-Ah
The strange knife wielding being turns another corner. There down the hall, they could see Steve Awesome with his head turned away. The knife seemed to take control and the pointy end wanted to find the jugular of Steve Awesome.
“And then there is Donzig. You know, I’ve been wondering when you and I were going to mix it up inside a ring. Hell you’ve been inside plenty of rings lately and there doesn’t seem to be any signs of stopping.”
Steve smirks.
“How does it feel to finally become coca-cola?”
Another sneer.
“Generic and everywhere.”
Ch-ch-Ch-Ah-Ah-Ah
The knife continued down the hall. As it past by a mirror in the hall, you can see the slow moving body that belonged to Zelda Knite! She continued to glare forward with a devious mission on her mind.
“I have a feeling that you and I are going to be fighting each other for years to come. And I’m up for that. But somewhere along the way, I’m going to show what a true star is all about.”
Ch-Ch-Ch-Ah-Ah-Ah
Zelda enters the room and blows out the candle. There was a bit of a struggle until Zelda flipped the light on.
“Why are you sitting in the dark like an idiot?”
Steve glances up at her and shrugs.
“Trying to bring the spooky. Why are you walking through the house carrying a knife?”
Zelda shrugs.
“Someone has to start dinner, right?”
