Ok, the joint ad has pretty much failed. So, instead of backing out of this. We should double down, yeah? I mean why not? Ok, hear me out. What if we had a monthly magazine. They would always cover things going on over the previous month in shows and such. There would be 2-3 fun core articles a month that change monthly and a few regular articles from regular reporters. Posting it to all of the places would be exactly like filling our quota for advertising something different each month. What do I need from you? I need to have permission to go over your shows with a fine toothed comb (basically I would read them a bit more in depth and post a light summary of what happened). Exceptions being any video feds, as I don’t normally have the time to watch the video eFeds, I would need someone to bite the bullet and come up with reports on those results. I need reporters would would like to do regular articles and sometimes reporters to run the cover stories. I need pic bases for everyone, lord knows I have a bit of a start on collecting those. I need a little enthusiasm and people pledging to read the project. It will be available FOR FREE in e-edition at magcloud.com, but also for print at a reasonable price point if that’s what you would prefer. I have a sample of a magazine I did in 2016 for the eFedZone Network (which has since closed a number of years ago which led to RSW having it’s own site and then joining the XHF Network) www.magcloud.com/browse/issue/2162894?__r=4106902Again, the electronic edition is FREE, but you can buy a print version at cost for under 12 bucks if you were so inclined. (Price determined by printing costs per issue) Thoughts, fears, excitement?

I am on board and would be willing to help however I can. As for fine tooth combing through UP Wrestling, go for it with whatever you need.
I haven't used Magcloud before. I checked the site and its one you need to sign up for. Is this a project for people in the XHF Network or are you trying to distribute it outside of our site? If its here, maybe you just create a "newsletter" that highlights different things about the feds?

The first issue back in like six years has been a labor of love. However, it can be more than that. Have something to contribute? Lemme know and we will see if we can get it worked in.

If you really don't want to sign on with Magcloud for the free ezine or buy it in print, let's try this.

So, the first issue was too small and had a margin around it. This issue is too big for magcloud and has a bit of runover into the cut off area so no print copy this month. (Unless I get ambitious enough to resize 26 images). Still, the google doc is representable and so I give you the March issue of eWrestling MZonthly!

Digging this idea.
Back in the day, eWzine (might be remembering this name wrong) did this but in a website format. It essentially was a newer take on RoughKut’s site, but for all the feds who submitted material / news articles, etc. Once the fed head or a person approved by that Fed submitted their article - sometimes a card, results summary, top 10 (linking recent roleplays) and interviews. This kept feds active and feeling like they were competing in a friendly rivalry to get the “Fed of the Month” spot, along with members becoming more active and drawing new people to the hobby.
It was a great concept and helped many people get noticed for their efforts in a wide assortment of efeds.
With this being tailored to XHF’s community, the magazine can focus on maybe “Fed of the Month” or do a “Crash of the Week” or a “Top WTF moments!” and provide smaller articles to showcase all of the community.
If it’s monthly; and graphics are involved, a cool cover image could be done too to look and feel like old wrestling magazines. Have the squares with action shots or “Fed of the Month” be a section somewhere; which would change with each episode, allowing you to spotlight different feds in every new release.
As well, a “Wrestler of the Week” or a Power Rankings following a big global event.
Not entirely sure if the article idea I am thinking about would fit but I can shoot you a rough draft of my idea (still need to write it up).

Crash of the week would be awesome. Wrestler of the week is slightly harder, as most of the feds run shows simultaneously and would inevitably lead to bruised egos / posturing / bad vibes (anyone remember the awards show? And this is without transparency of how the results came about). A general Wrestler profile seems less prone to issues, like a "star to watch" section.
As for the latest issue, great read as always gents.

Epic breakdown. Props to all the contributors, but my hats off to Vastrix on this one. No small feat, as I don't own a hat...

Shocking I know, but true. i think by crash of the week/month he maybe means the races from CAR? Theoretically it could be added to the rankings list like just one "OMG Moment of the Month" or something
