MAIN EVENT
Erin Gordon vs Poena
When the bell rang to close Tap Out's Showcase match at XHF Supremacy, both Erin Gordon and Poena stood on the side of victory. Whilst Erin Gordon got the win as she put away Ashley Williams with her patented Spinning Backfist from Hell, Poena booked his spot in the main-event with a Cross-Legged Kneebreaker Brainbuster to the apron that took Wildcat Capone off the available roster for the show. Critics are already stating that this match is impossible to call and they may well be right. Poena is sadistic at the best of times and with a chance to show the XHF Network what they missed out on in the main event, we're expecting him to bring his brand of salvation his opponent. Erin Gordon picked up where she left off in the AWF in the Six-Man Tag and knows that she is going to have to show why she has been referred to as the best speed-based striker on the Network! When that bell rings, we're expecting chaos, fury, and a match to cap off a show that puts Tap Out Wrestling on the map!
CO-MAIN EVENT
Jackalope vs Tommy Strychnine
Both of these competitors were in the Six-Man Tag at Supremacy but with differing fortunes. Jackalope won many a fan in his XHF Network debut but still found himself on the wrong side of victory. His high-flying, no fear offense captured the imagination of the crowd and extending his team's stay of execution multiple times with little regard for his own body. Tommy Strychnine made his return to the XHF Network and came out of it with a win to put in the record books, reminding fans that underneath the flamboyant persona was a wrestler able to mix it up with his fists as well as demonstrate a great ability on the mat. With these two differing styles, it'll be interesting to see if one style is better than the other as both men look to use their spot on the card to stake a claim for closing out the next show!
Close Collins vs Jason Long
Close Collins was raised in a wrestling ring. Whilst his father didn't rise to the level that Close finds himself, in a debut match broadcast globally, Tuff did instil a work ethic towards honing his craft that clearly did enough to impress Tap Out Wrestling. Improving every time he steps inside the ring, he faces perhaps one of the toughest challenges Tap Out presents. Jason Long has a list of achievements that, if divided into categories, would still dwarf a large portion of the XHF Network. The signing of the former X*Crown champion was seen as a major coup for Tap Out and with his ability to soar through the skies and deliver devastating strikes to tee those high-risk moves up, the match represents a chance for the self-proclaimed 'King' to put the entire roster on notice!
Brad Kane vs NOMAD
Kicking off the inaugural Tap Out show is a match that has all the makings for a sleeper shout for Match of the Night. Brad Kane is by far the most experienced wrestler on the roster. Having competed and won gold and awards around the globe, his signing was yet another signal of intent from Tap Out that they want to deliver on their promise of top-quality matches across every show. Fresh off a win against Spike Kane at Supremacy, Brad will no doubt be keen to follow that up by reminding everyone why he has been a success in nearly every company he has wrestled for. Standing in his way is NOMAD. Hotly tipped to be one to watch on the Network when he debuted for FWA last year, he is also well-versed in offense and styles picked up around the globe. Both men can mix it up on the mat and also deliver a stand-up game that makes them well-rounded and difficult to predict. With this being the first official match on a Tap Out branded show, the expectation from management is evident!
