With one quick flurry the reaper infested Spectre is shot down. Kris is dead. WELCOME TO THE MILKY WAY GALAXY, Kris. Thanks for signing up! You are to give life to the character of Saren Arterius. You are a MAFIA GODFATHER. Saren Arterius, born 2139, is the longest serving turian member of the Spectres, the elite operatives answering directly to the Citadel Council. For 24 years, he has been an agent of the Council's will, a zealous defender of galactic stability in the unsettled border region of the Skyllian Verge. Official records of Spectres are sealed, but it is known that Saren followed turian tradition and entered the military at the age of 15. In 2155, he was promoted to active service after only a year of training, though it is unclear whether his unit was involved in any of the battles against human forces during the First Contact War of 2157. In 2159, he became the youngest turian ever accepted into the Spectres. Intelligent, cunning and capable, Saren quickly developed a reputation for ruthless efficiency. Although there were a number of unsettling rumors concerning the brutality of his methods, there was no denying his results. His speciesism is speculated to have originated in the First Contact War, when the turians attacked Shanxi. In 2165, Anita Goyle informs David Anderson that Saren lost a brother in the war and has disliked humanity ever since. After their abortive mission together, Saren and Anderson retain a mutual dislike for each other. Saren has little regard for life. He does not see saving lives as a priority unless the Council deems it necessary, or if there is information to be gathered. He remains the Council's top agent despite his records: Saren may be ruthless and calculating, but he gets results. He follows two principles, the first being: "Never kill anyone without a good reason" and the second: "You can always find a reason to kill someone". As a last ditch effort when left alone, you will shed your cover and accept the reapers. This gives you amazing power. Your safeclaim is: Ashley Williams. Ashley Madeline Williams is a human soldier who served in the Systems Alliance as a Gunnery Chief in the 2nd Frontier Division on Eden Prime, and was later assigned to Commander Shepard's squad after the geth attack on Eden Prime. Born on April 14th, 2158 on the colony world Sirona in the 61 Ursae Majoris system, Ashley comes from a large family that includes a long line of Alliance soldiers: her great-grandmother, her grandfather, and her father all swore the Oath of Service. Following her family's tradition, Ashley enlisted in the Alliance Navy as a marine after high school and was assigned to the Recruit Training Depot in Macapá, Brazil. During training, Chief Williams was certified proficient with the standard-issue M7 Lancer assault rifle and light to standard-weight combat hardsuits. She also completed certification in zero-gravity combat aboard the Rakesh Sharma Orbital Platform in Earth geosynchronous orbit. For Hostile Environment Assault Training, she was assigned to Fort Charles Upham on Titan, one of Saturn's moons, where she was awarded a commendation for her bold assault technique in a field exercise simulating an attack on turian point defense emplacements. Drill Instructor Gunnery Chief Ellison noted her steadfast endurance and aggressive instincts, and promoted her to squad leader. Subsequently Ashley is promoted again to platoon guide after her effective tutelage of the less skilled members of her training unit. Her platoon had logged unanimous positive feedback on her leadership in a recent fitness review cycle, and fellow soldier Private Nirali Bhatia praised her focus on team-building exercises and "tough but fair" discipline. Despite glowing performance reviews, Ashley was denied further opportunities for advancement. Having served on numerous groundside garrisons she has repeatedly requested a transfer to a shipboard posting, but each request had been denied, without explicit reasons. Abilities: GODFATHER: As a Spectre a lot of your files are sealed and confidential. And the Council believes in their people, so you will come up clean to a cop check. FINAL BOSS: If both Rat and Robbie are killed/voted out, you LOSE Godfather and gain the ability to perform the kill, roleblock AND vote steal (force someone to vote for whoever you want). Vote steal cannot be used during MYLO/LYLO Your fellow scum are: Ratty and Robbie Win condition: You win when the mafia are equal to 50% of remaining votes or nothing can prevent that happening. The game will begin once I post the opening post Do not Quote anything from this PM. Use this PM for any questions you may have.

And with that ... TOWN WINS! Though not without a lot of luck and some glorious attempts to fail. Who was left? WELCOME TO THE MILKY WAY GALAXY, Donzig. Thanks for signing up! You are to give life to the character of Tali'Zorah nar Rayya. You are a TOWN COP. Tali'Zorah nar Rayya is a quarian and a member of Commander Shepard's squad. She is the daughter of Rael'Zorah, a member of the Admiralty Board. Though young, Tali is a mechanical genius. In 2183, she is on her Pilgrimage, the rite of passage to prove her worth and bring something of value back to her people aboard the Migrant Fleet. The Quarians are a race of aliens who live entirely on the Migrant Fleet, a squad of ships that travels the galaxy. They lost their homeworld, Rannoch, to the Geth - a group of AI they created to be their servants who rebelled when the Quarians tried to shut them down out of fear of revolt. As such the quarians have remarkably weak immune systems and need their suits to prevent illness when interacting with anyone outside the fleet. Tali was born in 2161 aboard the Rayya. Having reached maturity, she departed the Migrant Fleet on her Pilgrimage. On her travels she began hearing reports of geth, who had never ventured beyond the Perseus Veil since driving her people into exile, and became curious. She tracked a patrol of geth to an uncharted planet, waited until one was separated from its unit, then disabled it and removed its memory core. She recovered a file from its audio banks that revealed Saren Arterius was behind the attack on Eden Prime, but possessing the file put her in grave danger. She was pursued by Saren's forces, and escaped to the Citadel. On her way, Tali was shot and had to go to the Med Clinic for treatment. She told Dr. Chloe Michel she wanted to trade her information to the Shadow Broker in exchange for a hiding place, but was double-crossed by Fist who was working for Saren. In an alleyway near Chora's Den she expects to meet the Shadow Broker in person, though a "messenger" with a group of assassins show up instead. Tali senses something's amiss: she calls the deal off, throws a tech proximity mine to defend herself, and is aided by the timely arrival of Commander Shepard's team. To repay the Commander for saving her life, Tali presents the proof that Ambassador Udina and Captain Anderson needed to get Saren's Spectre status revoked. Tali's data also provides the first mention of the ancient machine race called the Reapers, who hunted the Protheans to extinction, and the mysterious Conduit. Wanting to help fight the geth and prove herself, Tali then joins Shepard's team. Abilities: COP: Using your incredible tech and tech savvy you can detect reaper components on other players. Target one player each night and I will respond with TOWN, SCUM, or NO RESULT (if you are interfered with for any reason) Win condition: You win when the SCUM is revealed and eliminated! The game will begin once I post the opening post Do not Quote anything from this PM. Use this PM for any questions you may have. WELCOME TO THE MILKY WAY GALAXY, Steve Awesome. Thanks for signing up! You are to give life to the character of Conrad Verner. You are a TOWN FRUIT VENDOR. Conrad Verner is an enthusiastic and self-proclaimed "huge fan" of Commander Shepard. After talking to Conrad, it becomes clear that he has a romanticised view of what life as a Spectre is like, and is more interested in the tall stories of Shepard's achievements. Abilities: FRUIT VENDOR: Conrad has a dissertation, and as a superfan of Shepard he wants to help the cause by handing it out to everyone. Each night you can target one person and give them your dissertation. This has no purpose other than to tell people that a fruit vendor exists. Win condition: You win when the SCUM is revealed and eliminated! The game will begin once I post the opening post Do not Quote anything from this PM. Use this PM for any questions you may have. WELCOME TO THE MILKY WAY GALAXY, Hyperion. Thanks for signing up! You are to give life to the character of Captain David Anderson. You are a TOWN CAPTAIN. Captain David Edward Anderson is a human war hero and the original captain of the SSV Normandy. Anderson was born on June 8, 2137 to Ursula and Paul Anderson, a nurse and flight mechanic respectively, in the city of London on Earth, and was the last of three children by his parents' second marriage. Anderson is one of the Alliance's most decorated special forces operatives, and the first to graduate from the N7 Special Forces program at Arcturus Station, serving with honor in the First Contact War. (He is also voiced by Keith David, go listen to that sexy smooth voice) Abilities: CAPTAIN: Each night phase you can choose to command up to two targets to target whoever you choose. You can choose from doctor/cop/watcher/tracker/friendly neighbor. You will be told if they chose to obey or not, and you can choose ONE of the commands to be binding if you so choose. Win condition: You win when the SCUM is revealed and eliminated! The game will begin once I post the opening post Do not Quote anything from this PM. Use this PM for any questions you may have. WELCOME TO THE MILKY WAY GALAXY, Adrien. Thanks for signing up! You are to give life to the character of Captain Kirrahe. You are a TOWN STRENGTHENER. Kirrahe is a Salarian. Salarians are the geniuses of the galaxy, coming up with amazing tech and biological advancements. They are known to uplift entire other species. They are the ones who took the krogan from beasts and warlords to spacefaring heroes ... and then also the ones who created the genophage, a genetic disease to stop the krogan from spawning like rabbits and overrunning the galaxy with their warlike ways and aggression. Salarians speak quickly and don't like to waste time, with lifespans in the 30-50 range as compared to humans and turians in the 100-200 range and asari and krogan in the 1000s. Salarians are all scientists at heart and cold logic tends to win the day. Captain Kirrahe is an officer in the salarian military. He is a member of the 3rd Infiltration Regiment STG (Special Tasks Group), a covert operations team that was sent to investigate Virmire, where he discovered Saren Arterius' base of operations. Kirrahe is a brave, intelligent salarian with a good strategic mind; he is able to inspire his men, and is also prepared to make sacrifices if necessary. After discovering Saren's krogan breeding facility on Virmire, Kirrahe sends a message to the Council asking for a fleet to help destroy it, but a communications disruption results in a garbled message, and as a result only the SSV Normandy is sent to investigate. He is suspicious of Wrex (if Wrex was allowed to join the crew), describing the salarians' intervention in krogan evolution as 'a mistake', but allows Commander Shepard to deal with Wrex's anger. Kirrahe develops a plan to destroy the facility, with the help of Shepard's crew: to place an improvised nuclear bomb at a critical part of the base. He is personally involved, leading three teams of his salarian officers (along with either Ashley Williams or Kaidan Alenko) to draw out the geth, knowing they would take heavy losses. In light of this, he names his teams after key salarian settlements (Aegohr, Mannovai and Jaëto) to remind his men what they are fighting for. Kirrahe hears some dissent amongst his men and gives them an inspirational speech. In it, he explains that though they are covert operatives rather than heavy troopers, they are still part of a proud tradition – "We would be legends, but the records are sealed." Abilities: STRENGTHENER: Kirrahe is a general and a motivator. He is known for his epic speeches. (look on youtube for his famous WE HOLD THE LINE speech). As such you can target one player each night and strengthen them (making them a strongman essentially). They are so inspired they can overcome any interference on their ability. Win condition: You win when the SCUM is revealed and eliminated! The game will begin once I post the opening post Do not Quote anything from this PM. Use this PM for any questions you may have. “You all know the mission and what is at stake. I have come to trust each of you with my life, but I have also heard murmurs of discontent. I share your concerns. We are trained for espionage. We would be legends, but the records are sealed. Glory in battle is not our way. Think of our heroes: the Silent Step, who defeated a nation with a single shot. Or the Ever Alert, who kept armies at bay with hidden facts. These giants do not seem to give us solace here, but they are not all that we are. Before the network, there was the fleet. Before diplomacy, there were soldiers. Our influence stopped the rachni, but before that, we held the line. Our influence stopped the krogan, but before that, we held the line! Our influence will stop Saren! in the battle today, we will hold the line!” Hooray! Breakdown is below

So a few thoughts: 1) I am sad that Scorps had to die, that Shepard gimmick was supposed to balance out the crazy vote steal and final boss powers. 2) Kuroi successfully bodyguarded the kill target TWICE ... including day 1. But Adrien made Kris unblockable night 1 and Rat roleblocked Kuroi the second time. 3) The fear of a watcher or doctor kept Donzig alive and that was the turning point of the game. Once Enough people were cleared there was really no hope. 4) Kris slipped in her godfather crumb by saying THERE IS versus THERE MAY BE a godfather. Which is hilarious since only Adrien caught it and nobody listened. Which is fair ... he boosted scum the first two nights and led H2F to her demise. 5) H2F used her messages SOLELY to shitpost. Respect. 6) Reck got roleblocked no less than 8 times. And he was NEVER blockable. So that's hilarious. You all fear Reck something fierce. 7) Scorps and mosler BOTH correctly guessed 2 of the scum the minute they died. 8) that was wild. Can't wait for part 2.

Glad Adrien finally helped us win SINCE BE GOT ME KILLED NIGHT ONE Commiserations to Adrien who was in all honesty the fourth member of the scum team. As DT said the “could be” rather than “is” would have left enough doubt to nail him. But fair play, I’ve never seen just a scummier town performance make it to the end. If town hadn’t killed H2F we had plans to really get those waters murky. Also nobody will ever trust me again. My scum days are numbered.

And the trifecta of Kris Rob and Rat as scum is a group I never want to come up against again! The information we had was that there was a possible presence of a watcher and/or doctor. They would have obviously protected Donzig so a kill would have been a reckless move at that time. Unfortunately for us, there were neither. If we killed him I never get red checked and you coulda been in real trouble.
