Ronnie Long
Height: 6' 5"
Weight: 254 lbs
Alignment: Face
Hometown: LaFayette, GA
DoB: July 13, 1986*
Voice Color: 497020
Description: Shoulder length black hair, cut a little shorter on the sides to keep it under control. Jeans - he switches between black, dark grey, and navy blue - along with a sleeveless leather vest with brass buttons that is taken off before he wrestles, along with black boots, black elbow pads, a black forearm pad on his right arm, and knee pads hidden under his jeans. The only difference between his wrestling and casual attire is (1) he usually wears a shirt when not wrestling, (2) doesn't wear pads in public, and (3) he sometimes brings back the trench coat he wore for 20 years when it's cold out.
Wrestler's Outlook: When Ronnie Long made his return to pro wrestling, it was in NPW and as a Face. Not too long afterwards, his old tag team partner Daeriq Damien showed back up and began trying to goad him into turning heel. When NPW jumped from the XHF to the CWA, Long followed. Considering himself a CWA loyalist, when NPW and the CWA folded at the same time and W:UK opened but as an XHF territory, Long used that as an excuse to finally start letting Damien manage him and turned Heel... to decidedly less success than he'd had as a Face, even after Damien built a stable called The Foundation with Long as the centerpiece.
After his own wife called him out on being a follower, Long decided it was time for some change. Suspicious that there was more to Damien's return than admitted, Long decided not to leave the Foundation, but to draw a line in the sand - he would be setting his own strategy, not allowing interference, and establishing certain lines he would not cross. Then the Foundation broke up when The Brothers Gluck turned on it, so Long not only finished turning face but dragged Damien into facedom as well.
Background: Ronnie Long has wrestled all over the wrestling world - CAL, PTC, WfWA, DEF, winning several different titles over the years, most prestigiously the WfWA World Heavyweight Championship. However, he's best known for being the tag team anchor of the interpromotional stable The Untouchables. Earlier in his career he was also known for deathmatches.
During his time in CWA, something weird involving a spaceship, time travel and prophecies happened to Ronnie's best friend Jeff Andrews. (Read the related RPs here and here). Andrews was supposedly de-aged by ten years, and it was discovered later that it affected everybody who 1) was in Andrews' general sphere of influence and 2) was born in 1994 or earlier. As Ronnie never suffered any severe injuries or male pattern baldness, the only thing that really changed for him was slightly unstiffened knees and neck.
Allies: On camera, Daeriq Damien. More behind the scenes, his old friends and stablemates Jeff Andrews and the rest of the IWA/OLW old guard. As for finding allies in W:UK he's not opposed to it but not actively looking.

[/div]
Salazar: Hailing from LaFayette, Georgia, and weighing in at 254 lbs! Accompanied to the ring by Daeriq Damien! This is ROOONNNNIEEE... LOOOOOOOOONNNNGGGGG!!!
As the combination of banjo picking and hip-hop drum line begins to blast, Daeriq Damien walks out of the back. Adjusting his shades, he points and steps to the side. As the lyrics kick in, a burst of gold pyro goes off as Ronnie Long walks out onto the stage.
[div align="center"]♫ Yeah I can never be timid, start to the finish ♫
♫ Even through the blemishes my heart is replenished ♫
♫ Violent images, was somethin' in store ♫
♫ It's kinda heavy, holdin' steady I'm ready for war ♫[/div]
Stepping to each side of the stage, Long pounds his fists into his chest twice and then throws his arms out to the sides, getting the fans cheering louder. He then spins and starts walking quickly down the ramp, slapping a few hands before sliding into the ring.
(Insert some commentary)
In the ring Long pulls his leather vest off and drops it, then jumps to the middle rope and throws his arms up in the crucifix again. Jumping down, he leans back in his corner and waits.
In-Ring Info
Wrestling Style: Power Brawler/Counter Brawler. Ronnie Long debuted in wrestling a little bit too early, and spent the formative years of his career clobbering people with weapons instead of wrestling. As such, even now that he can actually wrestle, his moves always have a bit of an unpolished aura to them - his vertical suplex wobbles, his release german suplex is all throw no snap, and even his powerslam comes out lopsided. He's more comfortable brawling than wrestling, and he's more "immovable object" than "unstoppable force" - his chops are hard, but the reason you can't beat him in a chop battle is because he'll react to an opponent's chops with a stare of puzzled contempt. And don't hit him in the head with a chair, you'll just make him mad. Long's actual grappling skill could be called barely adequate, but he excels at getting back to his feet and/or brawling his way out of predicaments. He can't flip but he isn't afraid of the top rope and will dive on you.
Common Moves:
*Knife edge chop
*Headbutt
*Counter elbow
*Scoop slam
*Front powerslam
*Vertical suplex
*Gourdbuster
*Release German suplex
*Powerslam
*Manhattan drop
Trademark Moves:
1) Long Shot (Blue Thunder Powerbomb)
2) Tilt-a-whirl Gutbuster
3) Choke toss to corner then knife edge chop as opponent bounces out
4) Tope Suicido
5) Standing spinebuster
Finishers:
1) Western Lariat (Hansen style lariat)
2) Extension Powerbomb (The Last Ride without its' gimmick name)
3) Asiatic Spike submission (only used when he needs a submission hold to win a match)
Desperation/Big Match Finisher:
"Five Star" Guillotine (high jump guillotine legdrop. It was his finisher in his younger days, now rarely used due to putting a toll on his hips and back)

How did you hear about W:UK? Well, it all goes back to when the old CAL interfed closed in 2004 and the efed I was running, Old Line Wrestling, stayed open and moved over to the WfWA interfed, where I met Matt aka Oxford Osland. This was decades ago - I closed OLW in 2008 and the WfWA closed in 2009. Then what was left of the WfWA went off and became DEFIANCE, and stuff happened, and we all slowly went our separate ways over the next most-of-a-decade until we (Matt, me, Jay Stevens, LVZ, Dusty Griffith, Justin, and a couple guys you don't know named Damien and Evan) decided to get back together as a group and all do v-feds. NPW started as one of the v-feds, Matt wanted more interactivity so NPW became an actual efed and all the v-feds closed and some of us stuck around to RP in NPW and some didn't, and then the ones who did gradually trickled away over the next couple years. But I stuck with it. And when NPW basically changed name and ownership and became W:UK, I WAS THERE BRO.
