4 players, if there were 2 scum then the game would be over. That is not to say that there isn't a third party in our group, which is possible, but assuming there is only one scum left then today is make or break.
Hammer is mod confirmed town.
Kuroi was cop checked - now if he was godfather (and if the game only had two scum why wouldn't there be a godfather), that result means nothing. For me it comes down to the night 1 "Mosler is scum" - I was shot night 1, so it makes absolutely no sense to try to kill me and frame me at the same time. As far as I'm concerned Kuroi is town.
As far as I see it, the choice is ultimately between me & Bailey.
Vote: Cross
- Cross claims vanilla, and we did see Robbie with an equally stupid power, but he has leaned on that - letting Hammer believe that just because he can switch songs doesn't mean he isn't performing the faction kill (and given how many jack of all trades this game has, it wouldn't shock me if a godfather had some misdirection power as well)
- Cross was almost eliminated day 2, and the only thing that kept him from being lynched was a single vote. HYPE - the only person we know is scum - didn't vote for him... (for those keeping track the other ppl on that train were me, Hammer, Kuroi, Mongo & Scorps)
- The following day the Nausicaa flip meant that the two of them were still under heavy scrutiny, and it seemed like a neck and neck race to see which would be eliminated.... only in the middle of it, all these random reveals started, and frankly it looked like another non-elimination at certain points... ultimately Hype flipped scum, which went a long way to Cross being off folks radar (was he ever blocked?) .....but that day felt a lot like scum theater to me.
- The flip saw Hype blow his fuse at Scorps, Hammer & Cross. Hype is all-star scum, he doesn't lose his cool unless: another member of scum threw him under the bus, OR he is trying to create an alibi for one of the ppl he's yelling at and muddying the waters (Kuroi you've done this play as well, and there is always a reason). Now Scorps is dead, and Hammer is clear, so Cross is the only one left.
- Yesterday Cross hammered Mongo, while angling it that if he was wrong it was me or Scorps' fault. The next morning Scorps is dead, so his blame falls to me, right? He has been throwing this kind of mini-shade at me since day 1. Including a Guillotina reference. For that jab, if I was scum - I assure you Bailey wouldn't be here right now.
- From a meta standpoint, Cross gets a kick out of killing Robbie early.
- From a general play perspective, the first two days Cross was kind of coasting - and only became an active scum hunter after Nausicaa put him in the spotlight. He has continued to ignore information as it suits him - Kuroi just said it, and Scorps said it yesterday.
As a side note, the evening that Rat died, I was blocked (h2f confirmed).
So Kuroi is either playing a masterful scum game, or there is only one choice. The question for Kuroi & Hammer is if you think Hype was poisoning ppl, in which case the night one no kill would be a result of that, and I am lying about my dance floor MC Hammer You Can't Touch this vest (though you've seen DT's flavour - that isn't a power I'd make up). I would argue that Hype has enough heat on him most games, that poisoning would be too risky, and in a game this small they wanted bodies out of the way early. So it would be an option, but only that. Also, it doesn't explain why we had no kill night 4. I could just as easily have claimed a night 4 shot, and my vest reveal wasn't mentioned until after the poisoner flip (which I outed to keep folks from railroading town h2f) - so being honest about it did me no favors, it's just the truth.
That is argument as I see it.
