The scene opens to a huge room. Inside the room are a bunch of chairs for fans and the front few rows are blocked off for the press/interviewers such as Warren W. Webber III and Katie Moss. At the front of the room is a stage with a clear podium with the word “The High Roller” engraved into it. There are tons of balloons and other “celebratory” decorations all around the room. Next to the podium is a table with a bucket of ice sitting on it. Inside the bucket are three bottles of champagne. There are also 7 glasses sitting there, all looking very expensive. There are WUK cameramen all over the room, making sure to film everything that’s about to take place. Off to the side is a table set up. Sitting at the table is none other than Jeremy Tucker and Andrew Fulton Jr.
Andrew Fulton Jr: “What a treat we have in store for all of you fans watching on WUK.COM tonight. If you tuned into our Premium Live Event, and you definitely should have, you saw an incredible match… no, I’ll call it a fight… between Billy Fowler and the new WUK World Champion, “The High Roller” Wesley Crane!”
Jeremy Tucker: “I hate to agree with you on anything, but it was indeed an incredible match… but now we must deal with an obnoxious press conference that has been requested by Wesley Crane himself.”
Andrew Fulton Jr: “You’re lucky you were even invited to this thing, Tucker.”
The side door opens as “I’m So Paid” by Akon plays. In steps Henderson, followed by The Glucks, Rage and Cage, Reese and then the new WUK World Champion, Wesley Crane. Wesley has the WUK World Championship wrapped around his waist. His suit jacket covers part of the belt, but you can still see it shining around his waist. Wesley has a bandage on his forehead, covering up the gash he has from the TerrorDome match. Henderson gets to the table first and picks up a bottle of the champagne. He waits for Wesley to get to the table. Once he does, Henderson hands him the bottle. Wesley looks around at everyone in attendance and gives them a cocky grin. He then pops the top of the bottle and shakes it like a mad man, causing the champagne to shoot in a mist all over everyone in the first few rows.
Jeremy Tucker: “Real classy.”
Andrew Fulton Jr: “It’s a celebration, Jeremy. Let the champ have his moment.”
Wesley Crane pours what’s left of the champagne into one of the glasses. He then pops the top to another bottle. He pours the other six glasses full of champagne. He then motions to Henderson to hand out the glasses to everyone in The High Rollers Club. Henderson does as he’s told. He notices that there is one glass left. He assumes it is for him so he picks it up and slowly brings it toward his lips. Seeing this, Wesley quickly speaks into the microphone.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “What in the fuck are you doing?”
Henderson stops in his tracks.
Henderson: “Oh, I assumed this was for me.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “You know what happens when you assume, Henderson?”
Henderson: “Yes, sir.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Tell me, Henderson, what happens when you assume?”
Henderson looks nervous. He doesn’t really want to tell his boss this answer, but he knows he needs to.
Jeremy Tucker: “This is disgusting. He really should value Henderson, not degrade him.”
Andrew Fulton Jr: “Henderson needs to know his role. His job is to assist The High Roller, that's it.”
Henderson: “Uh, you make an ASS out of U and ME…”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Exactly. Are you trying to make an ass out of me? On all nights, the night I have won the championship that has been rightfully mine since I entered Wrestle:UK? Are you really trying to make an ass out of me, Henderson?”
Henderson looks terrified.
Jeremy Tucker: “Enough of this already.”
Henderson: “Uh, no, sir… I’d never try to make you look like an ass in fron-”
Wesley turns and looks out at everyone in the crowd.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “At this time, I’d like to ask Miss Katie Moss to please join me on stage.”
Katie looks shocked. He stands up slowly and places her iPad on her chair. She sneaks past Warren W. Webber III who is sitting on the end seat next to the aisleway. She walks toward the stage, climbs the stairs and meets Wesley at the podium.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Henderson, please give Miss Moss her glass of champagne.”
Andrew Fulton Jr: “What a gentleman our World Champion is.”
Jeremy Tucker: “I feel sick to my stomach.”
Henderson does as he’s told and hands her the drink. She looks at Henderson and mouths the words “I’m Sorry” to him. He just nods and takes a few steps back.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Have a drink with me?”
Katie Moss: “I really can’t, I’m working, Wesley.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “No you’re not. I talked to Mr. Blood. You have the night off. You’re free to drink the night away with Wesley Crane.”
Katie smiles. Wesley extends his left hand (which has the glass of champagne in it) toward Katie. She extends her glass as well and they clink their glasses together. They both take a sip. Wesley raises his high in the air and then leans in toward the microphone.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “To new beginnings. To a new era in Wrestle:UK. To “The High Roller” Wesley Crane!”
The High Rollers Club all raise their glasses and then take a huge sip from their glasses. Wesley does the same. Katie does as well. Wesley gets a huge grin on his face. He looks at Katie again as flashes from the cameramen keep going off.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Dinner tonight?”
Katie’s face turns red. The fans in attendance all begin chanting the Bryan Danielson “yes” chants. Katie nods her head in agreement.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Perfect. Now, let’s get onto business, shall we?”
Jeremy Tucker: “I can’t believe she’s going to get dinner with him. I need to have a serious talk with her about her choice in men.”
Andrew Fulton Jr: “You can’t stop true love, Jeremy.”
The reporters all start raising their hands, hoping to be called on first. Wesley scans the crowd and points to a guy in the front row.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Alright, you… you get the first question.”
Reporter 1: “Hello, I’m Oliver Davis from WrestleTalk.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Hello, Oliver Davis. Ask your question.”
Oliver Davis: “Alright, you just went through hell inside the TerrorDome. How are you feeling? Mind, body and soul?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “My mind feels great. My soul feels great. My body feels like I just went through a TerrorDome match. The fact is, it’s a dangerous match. It’s been known to take years off of people’s careers. If it took years off of my career, so be it. It would be worth it to win this championship.”
Wesley takes his free hand and pats the championship belt that sits around his waist.
Jeremy Tucker: “That match will definitely take years off your career.”
Andrew Fulton Jr: “Maybe normal men, not a supreme specimen like Wesley Crane.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Next question… You, in the second row with the yellow tie.”
Reporter 2: “Jeff here from WrestlingNews.COM, are you done with The Bastards now?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Are you ever really done with the Bastards? Would I like to think I’ll be moving onto bigger and better things, yes, I would like to think that. Would I like to face off against new blood like that joke Ronnie Long or Eron Hunter? Yes I would… but most likely The Bastards will still be coming after this championship. So while I want the answer to be yes, most likely it’ll be no. Next question… you in the front row with the gold dress.”
Reporter 3: “Denise from Thuganomicnews.com. Speaking of Ronnie Long and Eron Hunter, are you concerned that either one of them could end your title run quickly?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Denise, Ronnie Long is a chump. Why do you think The Glucks left him and joined me? Ronnie didn’t have what it took to be THE guy. He couldn’t carry himself let alone a strong, dominant faction like The High Rollers Club. Ronnie thought he had it all figured out. I flipped the script on him and showed just how out of the loop he really was. As for Eron Hunter, I welcome him to join me inside the ring. We can go one on one. I have no problems giving him a loss on his record. I’ve only lost one singles match, and it was because Fowler cheated... I believe Hunter’s only lost one match. The story writes itself. Next question, you in the second row with the dumb haircut… yes, you.”
Jeremy Tucker: “There’s your world champion Andrew… you should be so proud of him.”
Andrew Fulton Jr: “Oh I am.”
Jeremy Tucker: “I was being sarcastic.”
Reporter 4: “Tom from NBCUniversal.com… Some would argue that Billy Fowler deserves a rematch. What’s your opinion?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Did Eddie Havok get his rematch against Fowler when he lost? No he did not. In my opinion, if anyone deserves a shot at this championship it would be Havok before Fowler… and Eron Hunter beat Fowler, so in my opinion Hunter deserves a shot at this championship before Fowler does. So my answer is no, I don’t believe that big dumb bastard deserves a shot at my World Championship. We have time for one more question… and I’m going to save it for Miss Katie Moss.”
The fans cheer for Katie. She looks shocked. She steps forward and speaks into the microphone.
Andrew Fulton Jr: “What a gentleman!”
Katie Moss: “What’s next for Wesley Crane? What are you doing after this press conference? What’s the next few days look like if you’re Wesley Crane?”
Wesley pounds the rest of his champagne. He looks as though he is thinking about this question real hard.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “What am I doing right after this? Well, if you play your cards right, Miss Moss, I’ll be doing you right after this press conference.”
Jeremy Tucker: “Yeah, pig is more like it.”
Wesley gets a cocky grin across his face.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “I’m joking… sort of… I mean, if you ask nicely, I’m pretty sure I could fit you into my schedule. The next few days… could also be filled with you and me time. Hell, I could dedicate all my time from now until Legacy with nothing but Wesley Crane and Miss Moss time.”
Jeremy Tucker: “There’s no way she agrees to this.”
Wesley flashes his cocky grin at Katie. She has a mixed reaction on her face. She sort of looks open to the idea but also looks a bit offended.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “The fact is this… I’m the new WUK World Champion. I’m going to do what I want to do, when I want to do it. Now if you’ll excuse me, we have a celebration to get to. Oh, and Katie, if you’d like, you’re more than welcome to join me. We can grab dinner before we head to the celebration.”
With that said, Wesley opens his arm up, offering it to Katie. She grabs him by the arm. Wesley motions to The High Rollers Club that it’s time to go. They get up from the table and all start leaving as well.
Andrew Fulton Jr: “You were saying?”
Jeremy Tucker: “Sickening.”
