Ok... I know We’ve been over this before but I’m not sure exactly where so I’m bringing it here.
Cazador aaked about a photobase list, and as far as I know only AWF has one (I could be wrong though)
now, do we want one “super post” where we can list all the PBs fed by fed in one place so people can find it easily? It might be a gargantuan task but I have done something similar before in another fed and I can do it again goddamn it.
but that’s only if it was really wanted of course.
Now here’s a bonus: what would people say to a “fed-wide” application process? The last place I was in had one central applications forum which the fed heads could then pick from whoever they wanted (users could also specify if they wanted to go to a particular fed)
feds could use my application form if they wanted to, or use an abridged version or even something completely different (say for a “smaller” fed that doesn’t necessarily want a million and one details about a character)
I just thought that maybe this could be something to consider since Mongo mentioned listing global tag teams in one central location if we were to bring back tag titles.
also if an application is sat waiting to be picked up (like we have on AWF at the moment) another fed head might see this and offer to give them a home, something that might not happen with fed-specific applications as the other heads may not be trawling each other’s application pages.

I like it, it makes perfect sense. The global application I mean.

I like the idea as well. ;P
I think it could really help with making graphics and such since everyone is in one spot.
The global application spot could be really neat too!

I like that global application, it would feel like a draft if done right lol.
As you say, there could be a fed specific one if you are wanting to join a specific place thou.

I like the idea as well. ;P I think it could really help with making graphics and such since everyone is in one spot. The global application spot could be really neat too! I'd just like to clarify though that each fed would keep its own roster page... I would presume that once picked up, the application itself would be moved to the specific roster forum of each fed to keep the applications forum clear. As for graphics, I can help make them or I can provide my templates (Which I may just do anyway, maybe stick them in the graphics forum) though if you ask me to make them I can take a little while to catch up sometimes I like that global application, it would feel like a draft if done right lol. As you say, there could be a fed specific one if you are wanting to join a specific place thou. I would say that if we did the global idea, then it should be global-only. Just for clarity's sake if you wanted to apply for a specific fed, then you would put the fed name in your title (eg: "Jackson Steele [AWF app]") - as long as the staff members for each fed had mod powers in this forum then we could move the applications over to our rosters and also edit the titles if needed. When someone transferred feds, then we could just move the application form across from one fed to another, negating the need to re-apply (just obviously make sure all parties involved are aware of a move) and if everyone uses the same application form then the transfer will be seamless to boot, with all relevant information ready to go

That sounds like something that could be implemented fairly quickly. Though I think maybe we stop adding managers apps separately? Seen a few of those pop up and it would muddy the waters a little.

it sounds like a good idea on paper... er, on the board post, lol. But IDK if we could pull it off with ease. It'd be an adjustment for sure. Good idea though, oh and also SSS has a restricted list also. a list you can find out about pic bases, music and finishers IDK if it's up to date or not though. might need to check that later on,lol.

See I put manager apps in just to be able to get a little bit more of a handle on those characters when writing them. Some people list a manager but don't really give you a lot of direction as to how they're mean to act - sure, you can make educated guesses as to how a Paul Heyman picbase is going to act when managing a heel, but it's nice to know so as to try and get them right. Also things like a signature move they might use if they got the chance, a little bio, stuff like that.
Also for managers that would manage a stable, of which I don't believe there are any in AWF right now but you never know who might end up grouping together eventually, it lets you list all their clients together in one place too. But like I say, there isn't anyone who fits that bill yet except Kira's Kobashagawhatever-her-name-is
Though realistically, since there is a lack of "stable bosses" then I suppose manager apps could be scrapped, with the "Manager" section of the singles/team applications being expanded to add a little more detail (style, signature move, theme and HT/WT maybe) - the drawback to this is that if you DID have several wrestlers under one manager, then info would have to be edited on ALL their bio pages when you change one tiny little detail about that manager.
I dunno. I'm on the fence really lol. I can see your point that we don't want manager apps to muddy the waters but at the same time, they add an extra layer of detail and convenience having all their info in once place.

i like having apps for managers because they help you be able to write them correctly. Other wise i'm gonna make them generic or nonexistent. Oh and You can pretty much say Kira, Jordan,Sui, Rukia and all their managers are all in one giant stable. Kira is the leader of the AWF branch and Japanese Branch while Jordan is the leader co- leader and the main man with stuff in 'merica. Kira is in a stable in another fed too though so i could just say they'r all asub unit of that major group, but i'll have to get an ok from the others first. Baisicly they're a stable with no deffinite name yet.

Well what about adding manager bios into characters thwyre associated with? Could be copy and paste into separate apps for any singles wrestlers.
I hadn't thought of the writing aspect, but that way, all relevant info can be included without having too many apps?
Interesting spit balling all these ideas.

Yeah Bobby, that'd be the best way to do it if we were to do away with separate manager bios. For someone like me, with only one manager who has only one client, it would be easy. If any of Kira's Bullet Club chopped and changed though he might have a bit of work to do to keep everyone updated lol.
And I love chucking out ideas too, just gotta see what happens when Mongo rolls through lol...

hey! we're the anti bullet club actually! we're japanese (except for jordan, he's an honorary japanese working on getting a citizenship in japan so what ever) who want to get out all the gaijin in japan. it works well for like... the fed i'm in, but we can just go to "the root of the problem" everywhere else and destroy them all as the best country ever, japan rules you all!
at least that's the gist of the idea. There's only three original members though, kira nd two chicks but we're kick ass! and MASAMURA might be coming to the XHF Network too!

When I applied with Hyperion I didn't realize it was a separate application for managers, so combined the two for him and Bodhi. I chopped the movesets thinking it wasn't necessary at the time, but it's something that can be added again easily. See here for example, it makes things look a little less cluttered, and makes writing the character easy. Might be a good example to copy?
