TOMMY ONIONS: So this is it gentlemen. It is time for our main event.
JOSEPH GREER: Now some would say this is the biggest main event that we’ve ever had in RSW history.
BILLY FOWLER: We’ve had some great stars like Morcant Davis and Nocturnal in the past but these three guys………
The camera goes backstage where we see sitting on a chair in an office Armand Von Krauss. He is reading some RSW contracts, crunching on crackers from a paper bag and half-heartedly listening to what is going on at ringside.
TOMMY ONIONS: Does he not notice the camera crew?
Armand looks up.
ARMAND VON KRAUSS: Yes I do Thomas.
He turns and looks at the camera.
ARMAND VON KRAUSS: Ladies and gentlemen, by now you are seeing the structure being completed out there at ringside? The RSW World Heavyweight Championship belt hangs from the ceiling of the structure.
The crowds cheer.
ARMAND VON KRAUSS: To get to the belt there is scaffolding situated around the ring. So in short, to win you climb up and get your hand on the belt. Egos will collide in this match. And the three of them are what it’s about. Now let’s get to the match.
JOSEPH GREER: Oh that’s why they were still building this weird structure.
TOMMY ONIONS: What?
JOSEPH GREER: Well it wasn’t finished Tommy.
BILLY FOWLER: Bit like my career within the squared circle.
TOMMY ONIONS: Thanks for sharing. Bob’s getting into the ring.
BOB MOONEY: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is a triple threat match for the RSW World Heavyweight Championship.
The crowd cheers with anticipation; a long night of high octane RSW action has come to this; the main event of the evening.
BOB MOONEY: Introducing first…from Parts Unknown. Weighing in at two hundred and thirteen pounds…he is….’D’!!!!
A fresh burst of cheer accompanies the beginning chords to ‘Freak’ by Silverchair blast its way through the arena sound system.
JOSEPH GREER: Here we go! Time for the main event! Billy, what do you have in this one?
BILLY FOWLER: Well, ‘D’ is something of a wild card in this match. My heart says he doesn’t stand a chance against my fellow bastard Riot, but he’s managed to fluke his way past Rob in the past.
JOSEPH GREER: I think maybe you’re letting your friendship with the founder get in the way a little there Billy. Assuming he comes out at all…
TOMMY ONIONS: Betting odds put D as the slight underdog in this match, actually Fowler might have a point…where’s ‘D’?
Well into the song at this point, what started as cheers for the enigma have tapered off to polite clapping mixed with some frustrated boos.
JOSEPH GREER: There’s no way ‘D’ would miss tonight…unless…
TOMMY ONIONS: Unless? Oh shit, Jakie Wentzel is back! He was always known for attacking ‘D’!
JOSEPH GREER: I was thinking more if Rob…
Joseph doesn’t get to finish his thought as he’s cut off by the mammoth Hall of famer.
BILLY FOWLER: Watch your mouth, Riot might be full J-Man right now but I’ll not stand for you running his name down Greer.
TOMMY ONIONS: Would you sit for it?
BILLY FOWLER: What was that?
TOMMY ONIONS: Please don’t tell Frank I questioned his friend.
BILLY FOWLER: That’s what I thought…
The music dies and for the first time in recent memory the veteran Mooney who’d handled countless no showing talents over the years looks shocked, unsure of what to do next.
Then darkness takes over the arena.
A single spotlight casts light at ringside, where an odd sight can be seen.
Joseph Greer speaks first as ‘Freak’ begins anew…
JOSEPH GREER: It’s Evans! ‘D’ has brought Maurice Evans to ringside!
BILLY FOWLER: If I know Rob, friend or not, ‘D’s’ going to regret that!
Stepping through an entrance ramp filled with smoke like a wraith through the fog of a haunted cemetery, ‘D’ steps out into a red spotlight at the bottom of the stage.
TOMMY ONIONS: Enough about Rob that no Frank will show up again tonight?
Ignoring his long-time broadcast partner, Joseph Greer focuses on the elephant in the arena.
JOSEPH GREER: Evans, the long-time butler and confidant of Riot is just a few feet from us. Nearly catatonic for some time now, it’s clear that ‘D’ is either trying to get in the founder’s head or trying to bring the increasingly unstable Riot back to his senses. Let’s hope ‘D’ has a plan because if he focuses solely on his mission to help Riot, he may find himself in a heap of…
TOMMY ONIONS: …shit Greer. A heap of shit! Shane Mitchell finally dropped the priest shit and is now the top guy he’s always been meant to be and if ‘D’ does D’s this match focusing on Riot, Mitchell is going to seriously fuck him up.
Stalking the aisle with a shadowy grace, ‘D’ ignores the fans as he surveys the arena, taking in the cheers, boos and confused in-betweeners alike.
JOSEPH GREER: ‘D’ is acting stranger than usual here guys…he’s headed this way…
Standing before Evans, ‘D’ looks into the eyes of the old man and mouths ‘I’m sorry.’ Before leaning down and whispering something to the only other man to ever truly here the ticking of the Riot star’s clock.
TOMMY ONIONS: Did anyone else find that creepy as fuck?
JOSEPH GREER: Who cares? Did either of you hear what he said?
BILLY FOWLER: No mate, but I know this, Riot is not going to be happy that ‘D’ brought Evans out here. Regardless of where he is in his head right now, Rob is one thing and that’s loyal…Evans has been there for as long as anyone can remember, Rob won’t allow ‘D’ to parade him around for a cheap psychological gain!
Satisfied with whatever he saw in the old boy’s eyes, ‘D’ rolls into the ring and begins stretching and testing the ropes.
BOB MOONEY: Making his way to the ring, hailing from the United Kingdom is Rob Riot!
As “I feel you” by Depeche Mode fills the arena from behind the curtain steps Rob Riot. The former member of the trilogy the Bastards receives a huge cheer. Riot proceeds to the ring touching out stretched hands as he walks. He slowly strides up the steps and looks around before entering the ring. He stretches on the ropes and adjusts the elbow pad on his right arm. He nervously ensures that the tape on his wrists is properly tight. Riot gets in D’s face and motions to Maurice.
BOB MOONEY: Featuring the challenger for this match, the RSW World Heavyweight Champion…Shane Mitchell!
“Fool’s Gold” by the Stone Roses begins playing as Shane Mitchell walks out from the back. He looks above the ring to where the scaffolding hangs around the ring with a strange grin.
JOSEPH GREER: I think Shane looks forward to the idea of tearing them up inside that structure!
TOMMY ONIONS: I know if I were Shane, I would be excited too. Damn it, I’m over the moon excited!
BILLY FOWLER: Has anyone read my official biography yet?
JOSEPH GREER: What? You’ve got a biography out?
TOMMY ONIONS: What’s it called?
BILLY FOWLER: It’s called “Fowler’s, the Bastard Years” My assistant was supposed to send you both a copy?
TOMMY ONIONS: Oh was that the thing in the brown envelope? I thought it was nudey magazine day?
JOSEPH GREER: See what I have had to put up with all these years Billy?
Shane Mitchell makes his way down to the ring to the boos of the crowd.
Riot looks at D who nods. The referee rings the bell and both charge at Shane and start throwing forearms at him. Shane pushes them both back. He chops Riot’s chest and then turns around and chops D.
TOMMY ONIONS: Chop Suey!
BILLY FOWLER: I have some great stories about me, Rob and Frank on the road during our Wrestle-Wars days.
He pokes Riot in the eye before turning and kicking D in the guts. He lifts D up and drops him across the ropes.
TOMMY ONIONS: These guys are teaming up against the champ.
JOSEPH GREER: They take out Shane and then fight between themselves; great strategy.
BILLY FOWLER: Rob was a great singles champion in Wrestle-Wars.
JOSEPH GREER: Spoilers.
D is over the top rope holding onto his guts. Riot runs to the other side of the ring and rebounds with a drop kick to the back of Shane’s head knocking him backwards and smashing down into the corner. D manages to get back in the ring and runs and slams his foot into Shane’s face.
TOMMY ONIONS: That has got to hurt.
JOSEPH GREER: I think he’s knocked his teeth in?
D grabs hold of Shane and drags him back up. He throws him towards Riot and motions for him to do something. Shane and Riot immediately lock up and Shane gets the upper hand by applying an arm bar. Shane twists the arm around and he drives his elbow into his arm many times and then he twists it again. D watches on as Shane takes it to Riot. Shane keeps his lock on the arm of Riot and then he whips him into the ropes and as Riot comes running back Mitchell catches him with a sleeper hold.
TOMMY ONIONS: He is going to try and put him to sleep.
JOSEPH GREER: If he gets it locked in correctly it could put Riot out for the count.
TOMMY ONIONS: Unconscious like reading Fowler’s book?
BILLY FOWLER: If you keep talking like this I won’t sign your copy.
Mitchell keeps the move locked in on Riot and keeps his oxygen supply cut off. Riot slowly fades but D goes up and kicks Shane in the ribs and he knocks Mitchell off of Riot. D hits Mitchell in the face with a few forearms and then he whips him into the ropes and he goes for a dropkick but Shane holds onto the ropes and D hits nothing but air and crashes down to the mat. Riot goes over to Mitchell and he punches him in the face and Shane hits Riot right back and then two continue this process until Riot rakes Shane in the eyes and he knee’s him in the stomach. Riot smashes Shane face off of his knee and then he clotheslines him down to the mat and back into the corner.
BILLY FOWLER: There was this one time at Wrestle-Wars…..
JOSEPH GREER: That was a brutal clothesline.
Riot and D have Shane trapped in the corner and they work away on him by punching and kicking him repeatedly. Shane is now on the top rope lying on the ropes in front of the turnbuckles and D and Riot try to push him into the scaffold but Shane holds on. D hits Shane in the gut several times trying to make him let go of the ropes but he won’t and Riot accidentally punches D in the face and it knocks him backwards. Shane gets off the ropes. He holds his stomach and walks away. D shouts something at Riot who shrugs his shoulders. He takes D’s head and he smashes it into the top turnbuckle.
JOSEPH GREER: Now that didn’t last long.
TOMMY ONIONS: Is he busted open?
BILLY FOWLER: I remember when Rob busted open Devin Stone.
Riot and D immediately lock up and Riot gets the upper hand by applying an arm bar. Riot twists the arm around and he drives his elbow into his arm many times and then he twists it again. Mitchell starts to climb the scaffolding as Riot takes it to D. Riot keeps his lock on the arm of D and then he whips him into the ropes knocking Mitchell off of the scaffolding and as D comes running back Riot catches him with a sleeper hold.
JOSEPH GREER: Is it his turn to do that?
TOMMY ONIONS: Shut up, and let’s get into this match
JOSEPH GREER: Ehh????? Okay?
BILLY FOWLER: Do you remember the first time you saw a Sleeper hold in a wrestling match?
TOMMY ONIONS: Is he going to be with us for much longer Joseph?
Riot keeps the move locked in on D and keeps his oxygen supply cut off. D slowly fades but Mitchell gets back to his feet and goes up and kicks Riot in the ribs and he knocks Riot off of D. Mitchell hits Riot in the face with a few forearms and then he whips Riot into the ropes and he goes for a dropkick but Riot holds onto the ropes and Mitchell hits nothing but air and crashes down to the mat. D goes over to Riot and he punches Riot in the face and Riot hits D back and then two continue this process until D rakes Riot in the eyes and he knee’s him in the stomach. D smashes Riot face off of his knee and then he clotheslines him over the top rope but Riot hangs onto the ropes squashed into the scaffolding.
BILLY FOWLER: Did I tell you about the cage match Rob had in Wrestle-Wars?
TOMMY ONIONS: Now I know why Wrestle-Wars went out of business.
JOSEPH GREER: Why?
TOMMY ONIONS: Do you think the owner Dave killed himself after being stuck in a room with Fowler?
JOSEPH GREER: Oh Airplane-like?
D lifts Mitchell up into the air and then he slams him back down to the mat with a big back suplex. Mitchell bounces off the mat and folds up while D gets right back up and as Mitchell is on all fours and tries to get up D runs at him and connects with a dropkick to the side of his head. Mitchell’s neck twists as he falls down to the mat and D picks him right back up and hits him in the face with several big forearms and he whips him into the ropes but Mitchell reverses it and when D comes running back Mitchell pushes him by the back of his head and D goes crashing into the scaffolding. D’s head bounces off of it and he falls back down to the mat holding his face. Mitchell picks D up and he kicks him in the stomach several times before hitting him in the back of the head with a double axe handle smash. D goes down to all fours and Mitchell does another double axe handle smash and it knocks D down to the canvas this time. Mitchell goes over to a ladder and he folds it up and he picks it up and as soon as D gets up to his feet Mitchell runs at him and runs him down with the ladder. As soon as Mitchell hits D with the ladder D falls down to the mat and Mitchell runs over him.
TOMMY ONIONS: Well, this is more like it.
BILLY FOWLER: This isn’t as brutal as we got in Wrestle-Wars.
Mitchell stands over the fallen D and he drives the ladder deep down into the chest of D. Mitchell does this again and again before he tosses the ladder off to the side. Mitchell picks D up and he knee’s him in the stomach and then he grabs his head and connects with a DDT down to the canvas. Mitchell seems to have the match well under hand but he has forgotten about Riot who has got another ladder and nearly up to the next level on the scaffolding. Mitchell drags the ladder over towards D and then he picks D up and he body slams him down onto the ladder. D’s body jumps as it makes contact with the steel ladder. Mitchell notices Riot pulling himself up onto the next level of the scaffolding, cursing he runs towards the ladder and starts climbing.
JOSEPH GREER: You’ve got to have eyes in the back of your head.
TOMMY ONIONS: Too true.
JOSEPH GREER: Now let’s see what they can do on the next level.
BILLY FOWLER: I was going to tell you about the time the Bastards won the Wrestle-Wars tag championships.
He pulls himself up to the next level and is met with an elbow to the back of his neck. Mitchell gets up to his feet and he waits for Riot to get to his feet. As soon as Riot gets up he goes over to Mitchell and picks him up and slams him down into the ladder with a huge spine buster. Mitchell wastes no time and he picks Riot up and he whips him into the scaffolding but Riot hang onto it and Mitchell runs at him and Riot back body drops Mitchell into the side of the scaffold. Mitchell bounces off the scaffold and lands back on his feet and Riot runs at him and jumps into the air and connects with an elbow drop. Riot picks Mitchell up and he hits him in the chin with a huge right hand that knocks Mitchell back down to the mat. Riot picks the ladder up and he rests it up against the corner and he pulls Mitchell up to his feet and he whips Mitchell into the ladder with all of his might. Mitchell bounces off the ladder and he lands back down on the floor holding his shoulder that was rammed into the scaffold. Riot walks over to the legs over Mitchell and he grabs onto them and he catapults Mitchell face first into the ladder. Mitchell once again bounces off the ladder face first and hits the canvas. Riot gets on top of Mitchell and he punches him in the face many times before Mitchell lifts Riot up into the air and rams him right into the ladder. Mitchell keeps a hold of Riot and he rams him into the ladder again and again. The ladder falls down to the mat and Mitchell body slams Riot down onto the ladder. He turns around to get the other ladder when he’s met with a chair to the face.
TOMMY ONIONS: He sneaked right up on him.
JOSEPH GREER: And wholloped him with a chair.
BILLY FOWLER: Wholloped? Is that even a word?
D is stood over Mitchell. Riot sees what’s going on and drop kicks the chair knocking D back down. Riot picks D up to his feet who is staggering around not knowing where he is and Riot runs up behind him and delivers a Bulldog that smashes D’s face up against the rungs of the ladder. D rolls over holding his face as Riot gets up and taunts him. Riot picks D up and he grabs him and gets him in a snap suplex down onto the ladder. Riot lays D out on top of the ladder and he measures him up and he jumps up into the air and he comes crashing down with a huge leg drop that bends D backwards on the ladder. Riot jumps up in the air and he hits D with yet another leg drop. Riot kicks D off of the ladder and he picks the ladder up and sets it up in the middle of the ring. Riot begins to climb the ladder and D sits up against the wall and he watches Riot grabs a baseball bat and take it off the hook. Riot holds the bat high up in the air and Mitchell runs and dropkicks the ladder and Riot comes flying off and crashes into the side of the scaffolding.
BILLY FOWLER: This is not hardcore.
TOMMY ONIONS: Owww!!!!
JOSEPH GREER: Too true but Riot still has dropped the bat.
D goes to pick up the bat that Riot has dropped as he falls off the ladder but is clocked in the head with a chair that knocks him down. Riot gets up to his feet. He looks at Mitchell they nod at each other as Mitchell grabs the ladder and he puts it back in the corner and Riot takes the limp body of D and he puts him against the scaffold and then Mitchell places the ladder in front of him and then he runs and dropkicks the ladder into the body of D. Then Riot follows up with a drop kick of his own.
TOMMY ONIONS: Working together now?
BILLY FOWLER: After D and Rob working together earlier nothing is impossible.
Riot turns towards Mitchell and is met by a clothesline knocking him down with so much force that Mitchell falls down to. D slowly gets to his feet, pulls up Riot and whips him into the opposite corner. Riot crashes into the corner and D runs at him but Riot gets his boot up and he slams it into the face of D. Immediately, Mitchell begins to get to his feet. Riot nails him with a couple of right hands. He then tries to whip Mitchell into the steel mesh, but he reverses and Riot is forced to drop to the mat to stop himself. Mitchell tries to deliver an Elbow drop, but Riot rolls out of the way. Both men get to their feet, Mitchell charges and goes for a Clothesline, but Riot catches him and then throws him into the scaffold wall which gives away but Mitchell manages to hang on and drag himself back onto that level.
JOSEPH GREER: Oh so close to!!!
TOMMY ONIONS: Still no sign of my Frank.
Riot sends D to the mat with a choke slam. Riot like a psycho goes to work stomping away on the ribs using the scaffold for advantage. Riot sets D sitting in the corner and runs at him for a quick dropkick right to the face. D screams in pain as Riot continues the assault. Riot still has the advantage; he connects with an abdominal drop and short rib breaker. D can barely move as he is more worried about holding on to his hurt ribs. Riot connects with a short power bomb and the crowd goes wild. Riot gets a sadistic smile forming across his face as the blood pours down his forehead. While this is happening Mitchell is slowly climbing up the outside of the scaffold unknown to the two competitors. He reaches the top of the scaffold and looks down at the other two. He sadistically smiles.
JOSEPH GREER: What? What’s going on?
TOMMY ONIONS: What is he doing?
JOSEPH GREER: He wants that belt of his.
He looks down at the two of them on a lower level, shrugs his shoulders and then dives off of the scaffold and catches both of them with a double clothesline, knocking all three down to the ring. He slowly gets to his feet and drags D to his feet but D slaps Mitchell in the face knocking him back.
JOSEPH GREER: OHH!!!!!!! Shit!!!!! Ohhh my god!!!!!!!!
BILLY FOWLER: I am speechless.
TOMMY ONIONS: Finally.
D goes over to Mitchell and he punches Mitchell in the face and Mitchell hits D back and then two continue this process until D rakes Mitchell in the eyes and he knee’s him in the stomach. D smashes Mitchell face off of his knee and then he clotheslines him over the top rope and Mitchell hits the ground. Riot hits D in the back and then he turns him around and he gets him in a snap mare take down. Riot picks D back up and he kicks him in the stomach and D keels over and then Riot hits him in the face with a boot that knocks D down to the mat. Mitchell gets up on the outside and he slowly climbs back into the ring. Riot kicks D up and he hits him in the chest with some big chops and then he pushes him back into the corner and he holds onto the ropes and he kicks D in the abdomen until Mitchell sneaks up behind Riot and he grabs him around the waist and connects with a snap German suplex. Mitchell then goes over to D and he drives his hip into the stomach of D and then he punches him in the face and he whips D into the opposite corner. D crashes into the corner and Mitchell runs at him but D gets his boot up and he slams it into the face of Mitchell. D grabs Mitchell and he pulls him up to his feet and he grabs his head like he is going to get him in a spinning neck breaker but he grabs his arm and lifts it up and Riot gets in some cheap shots to the ribs of Mitchell and still holding the arm of Mitchell, D delivers the spinning neck breaker. D grabs Riot and he smashes his head into the top turnbuckle and Riot falls backwards and D runs at him and knocks him down to the mat with a clothesline. Mitchell goes to the outside of the ring and he pulls out a chair from the side of the scaffold. In the ring D grabs Riot and he picks him up in the air in a suplex position but Mitchell runs into the ring and he hits D in the back with the chair. D drops Riot and his back thrives in pain. D turns around to Mitchell and Mitchell cracks the chair over the skull of D.
JOSEPH GREER: I’m glad we are out here and not in there.
TOMMY ONIONS: Never a truer word said.
Mitchell lifts Riot up onto his feet dragging him out of the ring, and then onto his shoulder, he then runs and drives him face first into the scaffolding. Mitchell picks up Riot again and again drives him face first into the scaffolding with him on shoulder. Riot gets up, his forehead now bleeding rapidly. Mitchell sees this and now rakes the forehead of Riot along the mesh, opening up the wound even more. He then backs away, before slamming Riot’s head into the mesh. Riot falls to the floor. Mitchell grabs a steel chair and climbs to the apron, and then to the 2nd rope. He then dives off with a Frog Splash with the chair too Riot, creating a loud crack of steel and bone. Riot staggers up to his feet. Mitchell whips him hard into the wall, Riot bounces off and then Mitchell clotheslines him down.
JOSEPH GREER: This is so brutal.
TOMMY ONIONS: At least its shut up Fowler.
BILLY FOWLER: Shut up!
D is starting to get to his feet in the ring. Mitchell brings Riot back up to his feet and whips him into the scaffold again, and again clotheslines him down as he bounces off. Mitchell picks Riot up and goes for it a third time, but this time Riot ducks the clothesline and then hits a Hangman’s Neck breaker. Both men then stay down. D rolls out and grabs a kendo stick off of the scaffold. He smashes it across Mitchell’s back and then follows up on Riot. Noticing a Table he sets it up. He then starts to walk around the ring towards a ladder. It is Mitchell who recovers first however and he grabs Riot as he is getting up and runs and slams him face first into the scaffold. He stops him from falling over and slams him into the scaffold next to the table set up by D. Riot bounces off and sprawls onto the table. Mitchell climbs on the table and motions for a Pile driver, but as he reaches down to pick up Riot, Riot hits him with a low blow. He then grabs Mitchell and delivers a Jumping Pile driver through the table. Both men stay down for a few moments. Riot then starts to throw away the metal and wood around him and gets to his feet.
TOMMY ONIONS: Mitchell could have won this match but he wanted to punish his opponents.
BILLY FOWLER: Rob has never been the cleverest of us Bastards.
TOMMY ONIONS: That would be my Frank.
D spots him and gives chase. He catches Riot with a clothesline knocking the bloody Riot down. D slings Riot over his shoulder and walks towards the top of the ramp way. D stops when he gets to the top of the stage and puts Riot’s head between his legs and lifts him high for a power bomb but Riot somehow manages to fight back and begins punching D in the head over and over. Riot slides down off of D and kicks him in the back. D turns around and runs at Riot and chases him to the back through the curtain. D throws the curtains back as he goes after Riot, and Riot slams a trash can over his head making him a little dizzy. Riot runs and jumps off of a railing at D and both men slam through a door behind where D is standing. Riot lands on top of D after slamming him through the door and they end up in some sort of storage room. Riot continues his assault on D by lifting another garbage can above his head and slamming it down on top of him spilling its contents all over the ground. Riot jumps from side to side as he watches D crawl on his hands and knees. D grabs a beer bottle and slowly gets to his feet and turns quickly smashing the beer bottle on top of Riot’s head, but it isn’t enough to send the guy down. The two lock up and D easily gets the upper hand. Riot pushes a shopping trolley at D.
TOMMY ONIONS: These guys better get back to the scaffold quickly, Mitchell seems to be rising.
JOSEPH GREER: He can climb up and get his belt back easily.
Riot picks up the shopping trolley and puts D in it and punches him in the face a few times. With a smile on his face Riot pushes D towards a small set of stairs and pushes it as hard as he can over it throwing D from it and wrecking the shopping trolley. D slowly pulls himself under a covered table as Riot continues to go after him. D comes out on the opposite side of the table and grabs a mop that’s nearby. Riot sticks his head out from under the table and D breaks the wooden part of the mop in half over D’s head. D slides over the top of the table as Riot lies on the ground holding his head. D grabs a poster of Andi Snow in drag that has a glass frame, shakes his head and brings it back like a baseball bat as Riot slowly stands up. Riot turns around and D smashes the glass poster over D’s head but he remains standing groggily and bloody but still standing. D notices on a nearby monitor that Mitchell is crawling towards a ladder in the ring. He turns and starts to run back towards the ring area leaving Riot where he’s standing.
JOSEPH GREER: Looks like D has noticed Mitchell.
TOMMY ONIONS: He should be trying to win this match.
BILLY FOWLER: That picture of Andi? Did she have any clothes on?
D comes running into the arena and slides into the ring. Mitchell notices D and quickly grabs him and executes a back suplex. He eyes one of the chairs at ringside and rolls out to grab it. Mitchell climbs up top from the apron with the chair in hand. As D stands up, Mitchell leaps off the top rope with the chair but D drops down at the last moment and the chair doesn’t connect. D stands up quickly but Mitchell throws the chair at him. D catches it on instinct and Mitchell dropkicks it into his face. D staggers back, stunned, but does not go down. Mitchell takes him down with a swinging neck breaker and then grabs the ladder.
JOSEPH GREER: It looks like Mitchell’s ready to make a run at his belt now.
TOMMY ONIONS: Mitchell is a cool champion.
BILLY FOWLER: But he’s no Rob Riot!
Mitchell climbs up the ladder as D struggles to stand up. Suddenly Mitchell looks over his shoulder at D and then leaps back for an Asai moonsault. The crowd pops huge as the move connects but the cheers turn to boos as D manages to catch Mitchell and then gives him a running power slam and drives him through the table on the outside of the ring.
JOSEPH GREER: Holy shit!!! I can’t believe it! Mitchell’s attempt has seriously backfired!
TOMMY ONIONS: D is looking good here.
D rolls out of the ring and grabs 2 of the 6 foot ladders, sliding them into the ring. He then grabs another table and slides it in as well. He starts to climb in but then grabs yet another table and slides it in as well.
JOSEPH GREER: What the hell is he up to?
TOMMY ONIONS: I don’t know, but I have a feeling Mitchell’s going to be really hurting after this.
BILLY FOWLER: Has anyone checked on Rob?
D rams Mitchell’s head into the turnbuckle, keeping him disoriented. He then sets up the 2 ladders and manoeuvres one of the tables onto them, forming a bridge. He grabs the second table and sets it up beneath the bridge. D grabs Mitchell and uses a vertical suplex to put Mitchell atop the table/ladder bridge. He then climbs up with him. He grabs Mitchell and pulls him up into a standing head scissors. The crowd comes to their feet as D positions himself to power bomb Mitchell through the lower table.
JOSEPH GREER: This is going to kill Mitchell!!!!
TOMMY ONIONS: He could break him! This crowd is amazing tonight.
JOSEPH GREER: Yeah, seems to be cheering the match.
The crowd pops huge as D lifts Mitchell up for the power bomb; the cheers grow even louder as Mitchell suddenly shifts his weight in mid-air, turning the power bomb into a hurricanrana, sending D crashing through the table with a deafening crack of the wooden table. Mitchell holds his arms as the crowds cheer. He rolls out of the ring and pulls off a barbed wire baseball bat off of the wall. Sliding back into the ring Mitchell stands over D again and smiles sadistically, Mitchell raises the bat and smacks D in the face a couple of times cutting D open under the nose and eye. D holds his face in pain as Mitchell taunts him. Mitchell lifts up D and pokes him in the stomach with the bat following up with a shot to the back. D gets himself back up with help of the ropes and ducks a top rope bat shot attempt from Mitchell. Mitchell crashes down beside D as he hits the mat hard after missing the shot. D lifts up Mitchell and stands him up straight. D hammers him with an onslaught of punches and chops each one more painful than the last. Mitchell gets to his feet. D walks over to Mitchell but gets a low blow from Mitchell’s bat. D hits the mat hard holding himself as Mitchell kicks him and taunts him.
TOMMY ONIONS: Man that’s got to hurt….Barbwire Baseball bat low blow????
BILLY FOWLER: Nut Shot!
While Mitchell is taunting D, Riot runs into the room. He has some wire cutters in hand. He starts to climb the scaffold from the outside. Mitchell spots him and goes to the outside as well.
TOMMY ONIONS: What’s he up to?
JOSEPH GREER: Duh, wire cutters, steel mesh wall of scaffolding to get to the belt Duh?
Riot gets to the top and sees Mitchell climbing behind him. He quickly hurries over to the other side of the scaffold. Mitchell climbs over and literally runs across the scaffold to Riot and grabs him as he is trying to climb back down. Mitchell tries to push Riot off the edge of the scaffold. He hits him with a right hand, and Riot flails backwards, holding on with only one hand, he swings back and gets hit with a second right hand, and flails about again. This time Riot comes back and gets in a right hand to Mitchell. He then decides to climb up to the top of the scaffold. Mitchell quickly grabs Riot and tosses him overhead with an Overhead Belly to Belly Suplex. Riot lands hard on the floor of the scaffold, it sags beneath his weight as he bounces off it. Mitchell pulls Riot up and slams his head into the pyramid-like frame structure on the top of the scaffold. Mitchell then turns Riot around and delivers a Neck breaker on it. Mitchell then stalks around Riot, deciding what to do next. He rolls Riot over and then pushes his foot into his head and rakes it across the scaffold. He then bends down and repeatedly bangs Riot’s head into scaffold. Mitchell pulls Riot up to his feet and lets him stagger around the floor for a second. He then lifts Riot up in the air and lets him fall onto the scaffold from as high as he can get him; seemingly trying to break the scaffold. He doesn’t succeed this time. He is undeterred however and pulls Riot up to his feet again and lifts him up in the air and again tries to break the scaffold using Riot’s body. The scaffold sags, but it doesn’t give way. Mitchell then walks over to the edge of the scaffold and looks over. He smiles and walks back towards Riot, he picks him up and runs towards the edge, looking to throw him off, but right at the edge Riot dives down onto his stomach and pushes Mitchell who goes flying off the edge of the scaffold and crashes right across the announce table.
TOMMY ONIONS: Shit!!!!
JOSEPH GREER: Is he alive?
Riot gets to his feet on the top of the scaffold and looks around. He is starring at the fallen Mitchell, who doesn’t appear to be moving.
JOSEPH GREER: Is he alive?
TOMMY ONIONS: I think so.
JOSEPH GREER: Where was I? Oh yes. HOLY SHIT!!!!
TOMMY ONIONS: Holy Shit is right, HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!!!!
JOSEPH GREER: HE SAT UP!! HE SAT UP!!!!
TOMMY ONIONS: What the hell? Mitchell just sat up!!!
BILLY FOWLER: Can anyone see my copy of my biography? It was on the table.
Riot is watching over the edge of the scaffold and he jumps back about three feet and falls on his ass when he sees Mitchell sit up. Riot stands up and walks to the edge of the scaffold; Looking down at Mitchell who has fallen backwards onto the wreck of the table. He crosses himself and then launches himself off of the top of the scaffold with a diving splash upon Mitchell.
JOSEPH GREER: Mitchell and Riot have both got to be dead?
D looks up at the roof spying the belt. He goes to get one of the ladders from earlier but it is mangled from action earlier in the match. He turns and just manages to pull his arms up as a bloody Riot swings the ring bell at his head. Both men lie on the mat motionless as Maurice stamps his feet and claps his hands, cheering all the while. D gets to his feet first and pulls Riot up. He drops him again with a double under hook DDT and then looks at Maurice, eliciting extremely loud cheers from him. D quickly steps out onto the apron and leaps up onto the top rope. D leaps and connects with a leg drop on Riot.
JOSEPH GREER: That was amazing. How can these guys still be walking?
TOMMY ONIONS: Chill out Joseph, and see if Mitchell’s alive.
BILLY FOWLER: Maurice, the traitor.
D stands up and sets a ladder up under the scaffold. He begins to climb it but halfway up he clutches at his ribs.
TOMMY ONIONS: Uh oh…it looks like D may have injured his ribs on that last move.
JOSEPH GREER: Good; Serves the SOB right for trying that move and not going for the belt.
BILLY FOWLER: I’ve found my book!
Riot stands up, also clutching his ribs and his eyes widen upon spying D climbing up the ladder. He takes a step forward, but then drops to one knee as his ribs twinge; Up on the ladder, D stops momentarily as well. Riot sees this and quickly strides over to D. He turns to face Maurice and then reaches up and grabs D by the waist. He pulls D down into a sit down power bomb. D’s head bounces off the mat as a result of the move and he appears out of it.
TOMMY ONIONS: Both are down again!!
JOSEPH GREER: Yeah. Yeah!! But Mitchell’s slowly rising!!!
TOMMY ONIONS: Come on Mitchell!
Riot starts to climb the ladder, but then looks down at D lying on the mat. He pulls D up onto his shoulders in a fireman’s carry and then drives him into the canvas with a Death Valley driver.
TOMMY ONIONS: This is amazing.
Riot grabs a chair, rams it into D’s ribs, and then lays it on top of him. He then rolls out of the ring and grabs a 10 foot ladder and brings it into the ring. He sets the ladder up and then begins to climb it. Just as he reaches the top, Riot looks down at D and gives the thumbs down to D. Riot leaps from the ladder and nails a diving head butt.
TOMMY ONIONS: He connects!! This is insane!!!
Mitchell rolls in but is met by a shot with the ladder knocking him flying. D stands up, revealing another cut on his forehead. The camera pans down to reveals that Riot is literally pouring blood then it shows a shot of Mitchell who doesn’t seem to know where he is. D begins climbing the ladder as quickly as he can, but must stop every couple of steps to wipe the blood from his eyes. The crowd cheers as D nears the top. D steps on the third to last rung and begins reaching for belt. Suddenly the crowd begins cheering more as Riot is seen climbing up on the opposite side. D reaches down and swats at Riot, but Riot catches his hand and shoves D backward. D grabs onto the ladder and maintains his vantage point. Riot levels up with D and the two begin trading lefts and rights. Riot is stunned by a stinging jab from D. D reaches back for a roundhouse but suddenly Riot ducks under it, grabs D by the neck, and throws him off the ladder, with D’s throat connecting with the top rope.
TOMMY ONIONS: This is damn brutal man!!!!!
JOSEPH GREER: We don’t agree on much.
BILLY FOWLER: So do you want me to sign your books?
Riot climbs up one more rung and then reaches up to grab the belt. In an amazing feat of stamina and determination, D manages to crawl back over to the ladder and push it over, sending Riot out of the ring and through a table at ringside. D, Mitchell and Riot are out of it but struggling to come around. Riot drags himself back into the ring under the bottom rope. Across the ring, Mitchell begins setting up one of the ladders and Riot does the same after a few moments. Mitchell seems to be just sat their staring into space. They begin to climb up and once again meet each other, this time on the separate ladders. Mitchell gains the advantage and places Riot in a front face lock. Mitchell then signals for an Upside Down Face lock DDT, but suddenly Riot shifts his weight and throws Mitchell off of him. Mitchell’s right leg ends up tangled in the ropes and he struggles to get loose as Riot sneers down at him, looks up at the belt and grabs it to win the match.
JOSEPH GREER: Riot has done it. He is the winner; he is the new RSW World Heavyweight Champion.
TOMMY ONIONS: That is amazing.
BILLY FOWLER: I knew he could do it.
TOMMY ONIONS: This was the greatest match in RSW history.
