AND NEW...
Holiday Inn Convention Center

The three men stare at one another to a mix of cheers and boos from the crowd, depending on their levels of sympathy towards Natasha who is quite visibly in a mix of rage and even distress. Suddenly and in familiar fashion, James Dragon raises his fist up to the sky.
Fargo does the same, touching knuckles with his partner.
As does Anomaly, the three men stand with their fists pointed to the heavens together, as Prestige 28 fades to black.

We then cut from the black to a shot of the backstage area as faithful interviewer Charles Akiyama stands by, waiting for an opportunity. Anomaly, James Dragon, and then Fargo step into frame. Fargo, with Murphy's blood still wet on his elbow, red welts spread across his chest, stands there with an accomplished smirk on his face as he slings the AWF Phoenix Championship over his shoulder. Akiyama tries to move into speak, but is quickly shoved away by Anomaly as Fargo steps into the center of the frame.
Fargo: First and foremost, Natasha, you gave me one hell of a fight. One that I was expecting. One that I was prepared for. I appreciate that.
Fargo spits out a glob of blood onto the concrete.
Fargo: But you could have fought ten times harder than you did tonight, and the result would stay the same.
Fargo pulls the belt from his shoulder and looks down at it with immense pride. The silver reflected in his eyes.
Fargo: I would still walk away Phoenix Champion.
Fargo slowly brings his eyes back up to the camera.
Fargo: Esmur...
He lackadaisically slings the title belt over his shoulder.
Fargo: You've got your shot, come and take it. Make sure it's a good one, make sure you don’t miss otherwise you'll end up in the same position as Natasha did. Lying broken at my feet.
A short pause as Fargo pictures the image of Esmur’s defeat in his head. He then continues with a sick smirk across his face.
Fargo: With a broken fucking ankle!
Fargo steps back, still smirking, with James Dragon taking a step forward in his place. In contrast to his partner’s sadistic glee, Dragon appears relatively unfazed by tonight’s events, jostling the Midwest title on his shoulder he places a hand up to the interviewer.
Dragon: Calm down, relax. What you saw tonight, by anyone else, would be a standard fare show of strength. If the Icons were to beat someone down, which they have multiple times, it would be meaningless. The only thing it’d serve would be to hold on to their titles with an increasingly tighter and more desperate grip. Tonight served two purposes for us.
Dragon holds up a finger.
Dragon: One. We were able to break down the arbitrary barriers set by this network, with The Anomaly being given the proper chance to make a statement by coming to the AWF and laying waste to everybody in his path.
James holds up a second finger.
Dragon: Two. It finally, finally separated myself, Fargo and Anomaly from everyone else. Although my brother Fargo is debatable myself and Anomaly really don’t care about Natasha and her dealings all that much, we were happy to let her and Fargo fight it out to prove who the better competitor was then make our statement after the fact. Now I had no doubt Scott would walk out the winner but no matter the scenario, even if the Nihilists happened to be out in the ring with Nattie, we still would have taken out everyone involved. Not for the benefit of announcing we’re together, as that would not be taking it easy, but for the benefit of the network by informing them we are no longer in the same ranks as everyone else.
A small smile appears on James face, cutting through his typical bored demeanour.
Dragon: We are a rogue nation. We are the Midwest and Phoenix Champions, we are the most integral part of AXW, overlooked and unappreciated for far too long. The network does not deserve our best. We are the Zaibatsu Death Squad, and we are fully committed to giving you nothing, while takin’ everything.
James steps back and places his hands forwards, introducing the “Zaibatsu Death Squad’s” newest member, Anomoly, who lazily strolls up beside his newfound brothers in arms, lifting his mask above his mouth to speak.
Anomoly: What we did out there, we made a statement. Not just to Natasha, to AWF or AXW, it’s a message to the entire XHF Network. We, the Zaibatsu Death Squad, are in fact not just the greatest crossover in XHF history, we’re the three chillest dudes ever.
A smirk appears across Anomoly’s face, as he rubs his hands together.
Anomoly: Like my boy Dragon said, we’re breaking the barriers fedheads have put up for when they plan to strike wars for monetary gains. Xtractions, fed v fed showcases, I saw through the deception. With a little help from Steele, I saw opportunity to bring myself from mediocrity to a level I’d never reached. We all saw the opportunity there, and we took it with ease. Like three, easy going guys would. And now…
Anomoly points to the championships on Dragon and Fargo’s shoulders.
Anomoly: We’re on a whole different level than the Icons, who never quite could cut it when the money was all on the table. We have the most important belts on AWF’s board, and with relative ease we could take Card’s Prestige Class Championship too. Fargo and Dragon, with ease, will topple any foes the Zika virus of a management team sets in front of them. But, now’s not the time to send threats. Tonight, we celebrate the squad’s victories.
Fargo once again steps forward, raising his belt up in the air. Dragon holds up the Midwest Championship to it while Anomoly places his knuckle alongside them.
Fargo: We are the Zaibatsu Death Squad. And when Death comes, be sure to take it easy. Relax.
The trio lowers their arms as all three walk off-screen, full of pride and confidence.
