BOB MOONEY: First to the ring He is an RSW Original, Marcus Anderson!!!!
The lights go out with a few seconds of silence. Suddenly there’s an explosion as Pink’s “Loser like me” blares throughout the arena. The smoke machines kick in. Red smoke starts to rise from the entrance way as the extractor fans above turn on and generate a tornado effect in the red smoke. The strobe lights kick in and faintly through the smoke a figure can be seen. The crowd goes wild and starts chanting for him.
TOMMY ONIONS: There are actually people that like this Bieber light guy.
JOSEPH GREER: Maybe people like you too. Maybe not.
Marcus stands in the swirling smoke and slowly as it clears the fans get a close look at him, he is wearing silver boots with martial arts pads on. His black tights have a silver Marcus down the left side and a blood red Anderson down the other. His wrists are heavily taped. Marcus gets down to the ring and slides under the bottom rope. As he slides into the ring and does a twirl the referee comes over to him and explains to him that he wants no funny business during this match.
BOB MOONEY: And his opponent, the current RSW World Heavyweight Champion, it is Shane Mitchell!!!
“Fool’s Gold” by the Stone Roses begins playing as Shane Mitchell walks out from the back. The gold strap is over his shoulder. Shane looks at it before turning back to the crowd. He slowly makes his way down to the ring soaking in the atmosphere.
TOMMY ONIONS: Four times world champion does mean he’s lost it a few times before.
JOSEPH GREER: Marcus may be the underdog in this match so what has he got to do?
TOMMY ONIONS: Well he’s got to………………
As Shane nears the ring, Marcus bounces off the ropes and dives over the top, attempting to take the champion down with a flying body press, instead, Shane catches Marcus, and he smashes Marcus’s back right into the ring post to a huge pop from the crowd. Shane picks up Marcus and he smashes his head off of the side of the ring apron. Shane forcefully slides Marcus back into the ring, and he follows him, climbing over the ropes. He puts his belt in one of the corners before turning back to Marcus.
TOMMY ONIONS: The champ looks angry.
JOSEPH GREER: Wouldn’t you be if he had been ambushed like that.
A groggy Marcus crawls towards the corner as Shane slowly stalks him. Shane reaches the corner, he grabs Marcus by his head, and he brings him towards the centre of the ring. Shane kicks Marcus in the gut, and locks him in a front face lock. Shane then takes Marcus up, and he plants him down with a vicious looking Crucifix Power bomb right in the middle of the ring. Shane immediately goes for the cover.

……..Marcus kicks out.
The crowd collectively groans, thinking that they were in store for a quick pin fall victory by the champion.
TOMMY ONIONS: Close but no cigar; why do they like him?
JOSEPH GREER: You tell him that to his face man!!
Shane shakes his head and picks up Marcus again. Shane bounces off the ropes and he attempts to take Marcus down with a clothesline to the throat, Marcus ducks it, and he nails Shane in the jaw with a super kick, which doesn’t even faze the champion. Marcus cannot hide the shock on his face.
JOSEPH GREER: It’ll take more than that to take down the champ, Tommy.
TOMMY ONIONS: Yeah, yeah, yeah Joseph.
Marcus shakes the shock off of his face seemingly just before running at Shane and nailing him in the jaw with a leaping forearm to the face. Marcus then pulls Shane into the centre of the ring and attempts a T-Bone Suplex on him. After about four attempts to lift him up Marcus stands back and holds his back.
JOSEPH GREER: It seems as if he’s strained his back.
TOMMY ONIONS: He couldn’t lift Shane. Has Shane put on some weight?
JOSEPH GREER: No he lost it when he kicked Soothsayer to the curb.
Shane grabs hold of Marcus; lifting him above his head he starts to bench press him. Marcus kicks him in the head.
JOSEPH GREER: The strength of this guy is unreal.
TOMMY ONIONS: Yes but how would he hold up against someone like Xander Joseph or Dylan Erickson?
JOSEPH GREER: What?
TOMMY ONIONS: Nothing
Shane doesn’t go for the cover but instead he gets to his feet and immediately bounces off the ropes. He then drops a big boot across the chest of Marcus, winding him. Shane does the same thing two more times, before finally going for the cover.

………..Marcus somehow kicks out.
Shane shakes his head and immediately picks up Marcus, wondering to himself what he has to do to put Marcus away. Shane gets behind Marcus, and he gives him a high angle belly to back suplex, dropping Marcus recklessly on his neck. The impact from this manoeuvre causes the crowd to “OHHH” and “AHHH” as Marcus rolls over onto his stomach.
TOMMY ONIONS: Ouch!
Shane bounces off the ropes, just like he did a few moments earlier, and he drops a leg drop on the back of Marcus’s neck, before rolling the man over, and hooking his leg in a lateral press.

……..Marcus barely manages to lift up his shoulder. Shane gets up to his feet and becomes frustrated. He begins to stomp on Marcus’s chest and stomach mercilessly, much to the chagrin of the referee.
TOMMY ONIONS: Talk to him ref! Talk to him!
JOSEPH GREER: Why should he?
The referee makes Shane back up to the opposite corner and waits for Marcus to get back to his feet. When Marcus does, Shane runs at him. Marcus drops down and gives Shane a drop toe hold, causing Shane’s face to cross right down into the first turnbuckle!
TOMMY ONIONS: That hurt me just watching it.
JOSEPH GREER: Marcus better follow that up.
With Shane holding his face now, Marcus gets to his feet. Shane also does the same with the help of the ropes beside the turnbuckle. Marcus runs up from behind Shane and he drop kicks him in the back of the knee, causing the champion to buckle under his own weight. With Shane on his knees, Marcus takes to forearming him hard in the back of the head while kneeing him in the back. Marcus backs away for a second, before running and drop kicking Shane in the back of the head.
JOSEPH GREER: Marcus is definitely bringing it to Shane tonight.
Shane seeks refuge by sliding to the outside of the ring, and trying to shake the cobwebs loose. Marcus sees this, and climbs the top ropes and waits for Shane to stand upright. When he does, Marcus leaps off the top ropes with a Spear, and takes down Shane. The referee shakes his head and goes to the outside of the ring and tries to wake up the wrestlers. When he sees that they aren’t stirring anywhere fast, he slides back into the ring and begins his standard ten count.

Just as the referee reaches five, Marcus lumps himself onto the apron and rolls into the ring. Shane gets up with the aid of the ring barricade and the support of the crowd. Shane rolls into the ring, right beside Marcus, and he puts his arm over him.

TOMMY ONIONS: Oww too close to call
Marcus immediately rolls to the centre of the ring, where he gets on his knees; Marcus then muscles himself to his feet. Shane gets to his feet with the help of the ring ropes. The crowd cheers Shane on as Marcus makes his way over to him. Shane head butts Marcus unexpectedly to a HUGE pop from the crowd! Marcus staggers backwards, as Shane bounces off the ropes and attempts a big boot. Marcus ducks it, and he nails Shane in the jaw with a forearm, the champion moves back a few feet as Marcus bounces off the ropes for momentum, and he nails Shane in the gut with a Spinning Heel Kick! Shane then falls back into the ropes, with his arms being tied up in between the second and the third rope.
TOMMY ONIONS: He’s got the champion locked up in the ropes?
JOSEPH GREER: Shouldn’t we help him out?
Marcus charges at Shane and dropkicks the defenceless man in the jaw. He turns smiling and waving at the crowd.
JOSEPH GREER: Wait!!! Who’s that coming running down the ramp way?
TOMMY ONIONS: It’s D!! He’s got a chance at the champ at Masquerade but does he want to take him out now.
The referee is trying to unhook Shane from the ring ropes. He as well as Marcus doesn’t see D slide into the ring and DDT Marcus. A groggy Marcus tries to stand but is met with D who hits him with a Super Kick and throws him towards Shane. He slides out the ring and makes his way through the crowd as RSW Security come running down the ramp way.
JOSEPH GREER: About time.
Shane is now free and he grabs hold of Marcus, not knowing that D’s been there he start’s stamping his feet so the crowds will respond. When they do he hits Marcus with a super kick of his own.
TOMMY ONIONS: Damn, Marcus’s been flattened; But with the help of D?
JOSEPH GREER: D doesn’t want an injured Shane at Masquerade.
Shane just lays one hand across the limp body of Marcus.

TOMMY ONIONS: The champ’s put the chump down.
JOSEPH GREER: I thought he was more your speed now that Frank’s gone.
Shane is standing triumphantly. The referee passes the World Championship belt back to him as the arena goes black.
TOMMY ONIONS: What the hell?
JOSEPH GREER: Oh here we go again.
The throne of belts appears on the big screen. The camera pans around and picks up Nocturnal. The crowd cheer really loudly as Shane looks shocked at the big screen.
JOSEPH GREER: It’s one of the bosses!
TOMMY ONIONS: Nocturnal’s on his throne!!!!
NOCTURNAL: So it’s been a while since I graced the RSW crowd but tonight is not the night I return to my fans out there.
TOMMY ONIONS: Lucky for us.
NOCTURNAL: But I do have a few announcements for you like I said on Social Media. Yes, the Sadistic Bastard does twitter.
He smirks at the camera.
NOCTURNAL: My first announcement concerns you Shane, yes it does. Also includes the guy that sneaked in to help you. Yes I mean you D, you helping the champ?
Shane shouts and points at himself.
NOCTURNAL: I think we need a great main event going into Masquerade. I think we should have a tag match going into it. So at Anarchy 46 on one side of the ring will be Shane Mitchell and on the other side will be D. But they need partner’s right? D’s will be Erik Black and Shane……You’ve got Chris Gibson!!!
Shane seems to be shocked.
TOMMY ONIONS: Shane doesn’t look happy.
NOCTURNAL: Oh how about that Shane? You like your chances?
The crowds cheer as Shane goes mad in the ring.
NOCTURNAL: Anyway also on the card will be a number one contendership match for Isaiah Zepp’s Legacy Championship. The winner will face Isaiah at Masquerade. And the two guys in the match will be……..
He looks off camera.
NOCTURNAL: Adam Reck and some guy called Edward Havok? Now let’s hope they don’t choke.
TOMMY ONIONS: That’s putting a lot on the new guy.
JOSEPH GREER: More on the Future.
NOCTURNAL: What else have I got? Oh right, Masquerade main event match, how could I forget about your chance to lose that gold once again? Will I pull my normal card and put myself in the match? NO, not this time Shane, you’ve got to try and beat D on your own. What was it? Oh yeah, I know. The World Championship match will be competed inside the HELL IN A CELL!!!!!
Shane just looks at the screen, mouth wide open in utter shock.
NOCTURNAL: Laters.
The screen goes dark.
TOMMY ONIONS: So let me get this straight, we’ve got two matches set for Anarchy 46, a number one contender match for Legacy Championship plus D and Erik Black, Shane and Gibson are tagging? That’s amazing.
JOSEPH GREER: And that’s a wrap.
TOMMY ONIONS: Good night ladies and gentleman, I’m going for a lie down.
