What is This?
Below is a quick list of locations that are available/ allowed to be used in RP's. This a created half and half from the federation itself, form its origins and history to now, but also from you the writers as your creations come to life. I will list two categories below; Federation Based and Character Based. Feel free to add to this thread with any new ideas you have, but bear in mind it may appear in other folks RP's.
This list has been updated for the 2020 season, and will be continuously increased and improved upon. How soon and successfully that happens is up to you, so start fleshing our your characters homes and abodes!
Welcome to Bethesda, Ohio!
Smalltown Ohio, a very non-descriptive home to roughly 1,500 or so folks. Not a lot happens here outside of little league games and the occasional park gathering... oh yeah, and the Ascension Wrestling Federation!
Growing from it's super small-town roots, AWF owes a lot to Bethesda for giving it the start it needed, and helping it to grow into the largest federation on the XHF Network. Set up by the masterminds of Felix Ziko (owner) and Terry Bradshaw (money man), the AWF has sprouted from the small town venture to what it is today. A few places to note from the history of the business;
AWF Headquarters - Bethesda, Ohio
With the show on the road this place is not often seen in promos, but this is where you will most often find Felix Ziko as her runs his growing business, or his financial advisor Terry Bradshaw (flanked closely by Copycat). You might even bump into other staff members here when the show is not on the road. The home of the great, the mecca of the business.
The VFW Hall (Veterans of Foreign Wars) - Bethesda, Ohio
Believe it or not, this is where the very first AWF shows were held. Attendance was low, from dozens to maybe a hundred but it was the very beginning of a blooming flower. A golden, glowing, flaming flower... that's because Terry Bradshaw crashed a helicopter into it and burned the whole damn place down.
It has since been rebuilt and restored, and the old Veterans that frequent the building have fond memories of their AWF visitors. Well, not fond. Not happy even. Just memories. Swing by and say hello if you are in town.

Morristown Baseball Field - Bethesda, Ohio
Following the infamous fire, the AWF was left homeless and desperately seeking a new home to host their bi-weekly shows. They searched far and wide, looking for something practical yet affordable, seeing as Bradshaw had fled with all the money. Finally a deal was struck up with the Morristown High School, allowing the AWF to share their baseball field with the local pee-wee softball team, the Colonials. During the day, it was your average baseball field. By night however...it became home to Prestige! The heart of indie wrestling! The facilities were minimal; washrooms consisted of a his ‘n hers portable toilet. Food was popcorn, hot dogs, corn dogs, whatever is usually passed around a baseball game. But my, did they put on a show!
Pizza Parlour - Bethesda, Ohio
No gimmicks or anything fancy, it's the only pizza shop in town and they know it. Slices are $2.50, they don’t serve coffee and restrooms are for paying customers only. Charles Akiyama goes nuts for their Hawaii slices, as he should. Pineapple on a pizza is the BEST TOPPING EVER!
If you are in Bethesda, pop in for a slice.
Momma Bea’s Carry-Out - Bethesda, Ohio
Local grocery store, convenience store, produce etc. You name it and Bea’s got it. Her chicken wings draw customers from far and wide, so if your in the area check them out! Her footlong meatball subs are a real fan favourite!
Local parks, Ponds etc. - Bethesda, Ohio
From Epworth Park boasting historic sites and cottages, to Barkcamp State park, there is no shortage of nature in Bethesda and its surrounding territories. Feel free to have a picnic, catch some rays or sacrifice somebody to the ancient Gods of Greece (we advise against that last option, the last sacrifice got really messy).
Life on the road can be hectic, so nothing beats pulling up a chair, lighting a campfire and singing 'Kumbaya My Lord' to the trees around you.
OK that's enough about Bethesda. We need to remember our roots and where we have grown from, lets never forget that. But right now AWF is a much bigger monster, and too large for Bethesda. With the show on the road and ever changing locations, here is a few that will always be there for you. Like a crazy ex, ready to hurt you again.
Press Conference - Anywhere, USA
Everyone knows it - sex sells. But you know what else sells?
That's right, NEWS. Typically our stars are known for their in-ring actions and their stunning over-the-top performances but do we really know much about the inner workings of their minds? Prior to each show, sometimes after too, the AWF likes to pop up a media-frenzy and let the masses of reporters and sports critics grill the talent about their thoughts, their plans and their ambitions. Pull up a chair, give the people what they want, maybe even leave it open ended for someone to answer back?
Do what you want, it's not my promo idgaf.
Backstage Areas - Anywhere, USA
With the AWF now outgrown it's roots it's time to take the show on the road. Most talent travel between shows themselves, others like to get a coach or tour bus. The super rich fly their butts around. Whatever your mode of transport the end destination is the same- the show.
As the AWF monster is being built for each Prestige and PPV, the on-goings behind the scenes are the same. Grips and PA assistants running wires, backstage valets and aides tending to the talent, press and media gathering for a glimpse of their featured stars. Backstage is where a lot of action goes down.

Parking Lot - Anywhere, USA
When you think of the show, the lights, the venue you never think of the best, most sexiest place there is... yeah, that's right. The parking lot.
An often neglected area, just the sight of it can make a promo darker or grittier, a confrontation or argument here seems to carry more weight, or shit just show off your wheels. Whatever tone you set, don't forget the parking lots. Always a good place to start a promo, or end with dramatic flair.
Or just fill Ziko's Corvette with concrete. He can afford a new one.
Chatting With Charlie (recording studio/ interview space) - Anywhere, USA
As the first ever State of Ohio champion, and the face of a local cereal brand, Ohi-O’s! (Tasty, delicious and absolutely not nutritious), Jason Justice did what any sweet kind guy would do with new found riches...he gave back to the people in need! Setting up a studio right on Justice Farms (just outside Bethesda), Jason gave us a personal space to go meet with our resident interviewer and talk-show host, Charles Akiyama. Here is where you can set up interviews, talk on the air, hang out, do whatever you like to do in studios. Both Charles Akiyama and his studio, ‘Chatting With Charlie’ are available for all to use in RP’s.
Due to COVID-19, Charles Akiyama is doing all his interviews via podcast, with/ without video calls. Hit him up from anywhere on the globe now!

The Writer's Block (podcast w/ Travis Monroe) - Anywhere, USA
Sick of talking to Charles Akiyama? Wouldn't blame you! If you think it's time to mix things up and just shoot the shi-, the breeze with someone new then hit up Travis Monroe! Hosting his podcast online, he's always happy to chat and chill with the elite of AWF.
Immortals MC Clubhouse - Brooklyn, New York City
Since his release from prison Hyperion has been laying low and keeping to himself. Part of that 'staying out of trouble' mindset helped him focus on what he truly wanted from life... so he took over his old bike club by violent means. As you do.
If you happen to swing by NYC pop into the Immortals MC clubhouse for a cool beverage. Give the doorman a nod and tell him James Knox sent you, otherwise things might not be so welcoming. You might even get to have a chat with the Hall of Fame'r himself, just don't mention the war (the Persian one that is).
Norway Speedway - Norway, Michigan
Looking for something different to do? Looking to rev up the heart rate and smell some burning rubber? Sweet, then come by the Speedway in Norway, Michigan and check it out! Be sure to rub shoulders with local motor enthusiasts and also an AWF familiar face too, Sylvester Calvin. His place of choice for entertaining guests and colleagues alike, pull up a chair get yourself a hot dog and race the night away.
Casa de Commissioner - Bethesda, Ohio
The commissioner of Ascension Wrestling Federation, a Hall of Fame'r and one of the greatest to wear a title belt in its history, Jackson Steele has stayed close to the company that gave him life and built himself a mini mansion to lounge in. Modern-chic with a plethora of beautiful models coming and going, Steele has built himself a slice of heaven right here in Ohio.
Drop by to chat with the commish, hang out at his pool and sip on a margarita, maybe converse with one of the countless paid models that populate his home. Just make sure to wear your best swimsuit because this is a no-pants zone.
If you have any suggestions or areas you would like to see on this list, please reply to this thread and give me ideas, pictures etc. If this involves your character or personal location please describe how much creative freedom people can have using them, or not using them at all.
