Sakura Tag League: Get To Know The Competitors

In this post you'll learn a little bit about each team in the Sakura Tag League 2020 Tournament. From some major titles they've won to their history together and many other interesting facts and details we could find while researching them for this very special piece!
The first team to join the Sakura Tag League (STL) this year was that of a returning one. The duo consisting of Destiny Wrestling's Maverick and J-ROK's James Raymond. a top tag team from the past, this group is looking to make a name for themselves yet again in the STL.
Team two is that of the soon to be married Ascension Wrestling Federation's Bloody Fox and J-ROK's Brendan Harding, Bloody Zen Romance. This team hasn't had too many matches outside of the tournament, holding singles titles outside of the team their looking for a big tournament win in the STL.
The third team consists of a world renowned duo, both apart of J-ROK and in Death Startling, Anna Daniels and Lisa Seldon, collectively known as Dodo-A-Gogo, won last years inaugural STL. On top of that they're the current IJWF Tag Team Champions and former J-ROK Super Duos Champions and XHF Tag Team Champions among many other titles they've collected over the years. This is one dangerous team to look out for!
The fourth team up is those who became the first to beat Dodo-A-Gogo this year in J-ROK, they hail from J-ROK as well and are the current J-ROK Super Duos Champions. SKY Force is their name and causing chaos where ever they go is their game. This stable uses multiple members to compete in tag matches, The leader Nausicaa Suzuki has been in the most this year, then there's Rin Kubo and Shizuku Yamamoto. Oh, and we can't forget about the controversial, and adorable Charles, The super real super cool feline! They became the last Rose City Tag Team Champions and merged them with the J-ROK Power Ballad Championships to form the J-ROK Super Duos Champions for a second time. They've also held the XHF Tag Team Titles as well.
The fifth team is a rough and tough duo from J-ROK. They consist of Rage and Fury and go by that name too. These guys can break you a million ways and sure aren't afraid to show you either! you better watch out if you have to face them in the STL.
Teams six and seven consist of those from the elusive and mysterious stable, The Harbringers. Always wrecking havoc this J-ROK group causes chaos and anarchy where ever they go. On top of that, they've never been defeated in tag team action! you better watch out for this dangerous group.
Team eight is the duo from J-ROK. Kira Izumi and Carnivore, they go by Masters of The Mat in honor of where they started out. This team has been around off and on for many years now, never reaching their peak where ever they go, they're looking to use that tag team experience and knowledge between the two to make it to the finals and win the STL!
The ninth team is another J-ROK group, Bad Luck Inc. has had some bad luck this year, not getting many wins. But they have heart and experience, getting darn close many times before. That and teaming with some of the best in the business these guys are looking to be the dark horse of the tournament.
The tenth team is one that's been around all over the world countless times over. This J-ROK team consists of two of the scariest gaijin known to man. The Hellhounds are no joke, getting big wins since their shocking debut in J-ROK months ago. These guys are multiple tag team champions too! Winning SWAT's Tag Team Championship 3 times, CWA Tag Team Championships and even multiple Japanese Tag Titles too. These guys have all it takes to win the tournament, but will an unlucky draw or one bad match ruin it all for them? find out November 21st!
Team Eleven is another from J-ROK, XHF legends in their own right, Kris Quake and Randy Angel have been on a tear as of late. Holding multiple titles in the past, they're looking to gain the gold together in this tournament.
The twelfth team is two brothers from Canada, The Brother's Swann, Lucas and Zakk are from J-ROK. They're looking to make a name for themselves and use this as a chance at the big time.
Team Thirteen is The Devil's Syndicate, a fearsome duo who's extra dangerous! these two guys could even make Michael Myers scared!!
Team Fourteen is that of Novita and Himeko Hayashi, two singles competitors and two freelancers, they're looking to gain the hearts of J-ROK fans and prove they have what it takes to be the number one team!
The Fifteenth team is The PowerBuff Girlz, an incredible team from Rose City, they've been bitter rivals all over the world with SKY Force and many other notable tag teams. Shizuku Hitokage and Emi Yamamoto are looking to show why they're the best and maybe they want to buy protein too.
Team Sixteen is a fairly new team, Regulators Inc., consisting of Jane Adler and Sadie Cassidy, have been 1WM Tag Team Champions and can go with the best of them.
Team Seventeen is Marry Ellen Harrison and a familiar face, Samantha Tolson, both have experience teaming every so often and are looking to bring their skills together to win the STL!
Team Eighteen is the recently returning Nihilists, they've signed a deal with FIRESIDE recently and are looking to bring home the trophy to Philidelphia! These guys have been former XHF Tag Team Champions as well.
Team Nineteen is Hybrid's own, Rock Harts! Stacy Jones and Griffith Hawkins have won tag team gold in Hybrid. These two are no joke and are ready to rock your world!
The Twentieth team is two singles stars, Mearlot Ayano and Momoko Honda, these two friends are looking to test their friendship and their skills in this tournament.
Team Twenty One is 8 D The High Court, representing New Frontier Wrestling, This duo consists of NFW World Champion Danni Anderson and Damon Cross. They're looking to show the world they're just as good as a team, as they are singles stars.
Team Twenty Two is that of FLOTUS Esmerelda Kanyon and Chrystal Ralton. these two singles stars are looking to reach the top of the STL!
The Twenty Third team is one that represents Wrestle World, April Song and Hana Nakajima are a top team in their home promotion and are looking to bring home some glory and a big tournament win.
Team Twenty Four is another from FIRESIDE, that of PowerDriver! Powerbomb Paul and Piledriver Pete are a new team, but full of vigor and enthusiasm.
Team Twenty Five is Kawaii Trash Pandas GO!, a world renowned duo, these two are looking to add another big tournament win to their ever growing resume.
The Twenty Sixth team is ZombieJustic, consisting of Jason Justice and Fukushima Zombie. Justice is representing Next Level Wrestling, these two top singles stars are surely going to bring it in this one!
Team Twenty Seven is representing Northern Pro Wrestling, The Speed Dragons are an impressive team with quick speed and jaw dropping action. these guys can catch even the best off guard.
The Twenty Eighth team is another group from the AWF, The ReVanents are an impressive team, even if they are a bit sleazy. they may be dirty, but they ain't afraid to show you just how great they can be. watch out for these guys, they can beat the best of em!
Team Twenty Nine is that of Syndicate Wrestling and Tradition's El Combatiente and the current X*Crown Champion (as of this writing) Dylan Black. Two top singles stars, they'll try to see if their masky boi similarities can be enough to beat the best in the STL!
Team Thirty is that of Interstella 5555, a fairly new team who wrestles all over the world, it consists of Destiny's Yuki Sakaraba and Fullmetal Wrestling Alliance's Ai Moe. Two tag team specialists in their own right, they'll try to get their first accomplishment as a team in the STL.
Team Thirty One is House of Lords, Consisting of Dinosaur Bones and Lord Dominicus, this is a very new team likely making their debut at the STL.
The final team is Pat the postman and Bob the builder, The Labour Union is making their debut at the STL.
