Fade into the recent Sunday Showdown event.
Jason allows Adrien to leave the ring, holding the ropes for him and Eddie Walker as they make their exit. But now he has the ring to himself, a live microphone in his hand, and it's time for The King to make some speech happen.
"Well then..."
"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" clap clap clapclapclap
"I love you too, random fan in the back seats."
"--anyway. I guess it's time to address some stuff then, shall we?"
"Two weeks ago, I walked into that cage match with a disadvantage to me. I hadn't chose the cage match to be the stipulation of choice, and to be frank, I hate cage matches myself. I'm never one to be the winner of them. But I showed up - as I said I would - and I showed out in the best damn way possible."
"Now, this whole beat the clock bullshit, I've got to get another defence done for whoever has that opportunity. I don't really agree to such stipulations to be honest. Beat the Clock is so... outdated. But oh well, I guess with four minutes, it's looking to be that CJ Bushwhacker fella back there who looks like he's not showered in six months."
"Let it be known that what I did last week is just a simple reminder of who runs things around here, for whomever might be the one who faces me next, and it's always been that way when I am the champion."
"Without me, Destiny would have been the stockpile of shit you see around here now. From your CJ Busha to your Travis Monroe or even your whoever the fuck it might be that they sent from the {Mongo Edit: Nah we don't say that anymore} clinics like Aaron Ryan or Jeff Johnson. There's a good reason why I am the Destiny Wrestling Heavyweight Champion right now and it's because nobody else on this roster has had the same fucking impact as what I have in one whole year."
"Nobody's had the same class as me... and that's worrying when within the month of May, we're supposed to be holding a match for the XHF Junior Heavyweight Championship and as someone who's around that weight class, who's always saw that belt with great respect. Dreadvan, I don't know if you've got people on your mind or not but let's make one thing clear here..."
"From the eye can see, there's nobody around who deserves that spot other than me."
"I am a Junior Heavyweight classed wrestler, one hundred and ninety-five fucking pounds."
"...and I am a heavyweight champion..."
"I've proven time and time and fucking time again that I stand out as the very fucking best of my class, of my weight division and god fucking dammit, I won't let this opportunity slip from my fingers."
"I'm not going to allow it because that title should be treated with respect... it should be held with pride, with prestige, with heritage... and a fucking AWF roster member has it."
"Bloodied Fox."
"Allow me to make this abundantly clear to you, sir."
Taking a deep breath.
"You don't deserve that title."
"You never ever fucking did."
"You got lucky on one night, just like you have with many other nights and then you allow yourself to get stomped on because that's your thing, that's your lineage with every other title you've held where you didn't have your handed held by Ryan or Seth or whoever was LGBTKO back then."
"When you do, you retain."
"And where's Ryan now? Wasn't he supposed to be coming back?"
"Was that what drove you to get lucky that night?"
"...and he's not here to hold your hand again, a real fucking shame now isn't it?"
"The Rumble holds many things, Fox. I'll be watching your match with a very keen eye because when you come here..."
"...to my show..."
"...into my ring..."
"...and you have to go face to face with the Monarch of the XHF as a whole..."
"...you'll be just like every other chance you've had..."
"...you'll choke."
"So please, win at the Rumble so I can see you here in May. I ask of you to win."
"Because when The Rumble is over and you're looking across the ring at me..."
"...you're not seeing The King of Professional Wrestling, you're going to be met with..."
"...the Destiny Wrestling Heavyweight Champion..."
"...the XHF Tag Team Champion..."
"...and the XHF X*Crown Champion..."
"...and even the FIRESIDE Tag Team Champion because I've not forgotten about that either..."
"...and i'll hold them all at the exact same time."
"The King versus The Ace."
"The Champion versus The Champion."
"As god as my witness, Fox, I will not allow you to put shame on another title's lineage ever again."
"You're a disease, a plague, a virus to championship reigns. You've been suffering for long enough."
"All this will be is a simple mercy killing on my behalf, Fox."
"Do not disappoint."
Mic drop.
The Destiny Wrestling Heavyweight Champion doesn't even need the music to exit, he'll walk out on his own accord, keeping the championship on his shoulder as he walks to the back.
Fade.
