‘Ah, all wet
Hey, you might need a raincoat
Shakedown
Dreams walking in broad daylight
365 degrees
Burning down the house
Ah, it was once upon a place
Sometimes I listen to myself
Gonna come in first place
People on their way to work
And, baby what do you expect?
Gonna burst into flames, ah
Burning down the house…’
Somewhere in the darkness, a voice sang out. It was off key, and the words were slightly hissed as they grew louder.
Donzig walked into frame, and he pauses to stare down at the WUK/JROK Two Kingdoms belt on his shoulder, his fingers dragged across the black and white surface before he pulled it from his shoulder. He dropped it to the table, and then settled down behind it before he leaned forward to tilt his head at the camera.
‘Yamamoto, everywhere I go which is everywhere I hear them telling me how angry you are. How you want this title back. How you are the King of Failures, and this and that! And that SKY Force doesn't fear my army.’
A snort, and Donzig shrugged before he lifted a hand to drag through his beard.
‘Donzig-gun hears with a thousand ears, O King. And every ear tells me your words. But you see the thing is? The Scourge knows that words even ones as idly spoken as yours? Have power. That every one of your little whispers is a threat to me, to my power, to my reign! That every single fucking syllable is an insult aimed at the heart of my Kingdoms.’
Donzig sniffed, and he absently leaned back to stare at his fingers. He rubbed them together, thinking it seemed before he planted his booted feet on the table. Then he let his hand fall, dropping it as he turned to the camera with a hiss from behind his mask.
‘It is time you were silenced, Yamamoto. It is time that you and your little force of rabble bowed down before their betters. And since you walked into my house and spread your lies? Since you walked into my house and spoke your insults? Well, maybe it is time that I destroyed yours.’
His hand slammed down on the table, and with a thud and crackle of power someone threw a switch. Spotlights beamed down a house that had clearly seen better days behind a fence. It was covered with yellow caution tape and signs that read ‘KEEP OUT’ and ‘DEMOLITION IN PROGRESS’. Not far from the house sat the gleaming yellow machines of destruction, bulldozers, trucks, and cranes.
Donzig lifted his head, staring from behind his mask as his hand splayed across the title as he fumed.
‘The next time I walk the scorched earth of Japan, the next time I bless JROK with the presence of the Wonder and Terror of this Age? You and I:
Exploding Demolished House Death Match.’
He rose from the table then, snatching up the title to fling it once more across his leather clad shoulder as he walked into the darkness. Then his voice lifted in a song, weird and hissing. It was slightly off key, and slow. And then flames appeared in the windows of the demolished house, leaping and burning as the lights flickered and went out.
‘My house
Is out of the ordinary
That's right
Don't wannna hurt nobody
Some things sure can sweep me off my feet
Burning down the house
No visible means of support
And you have not seen nothin' yet
Everything's stuck together
And I don't know what you expect
Staring into the TV set
Fightin' fire with fire, ah….’
