Hey everyone it's around that time of the year again where i lose my mind trying to book the best round robin tournament in the xhf! All spots are filled and we have a solid variety of people coming into it this year. Lots of first timers and some returning. First i'd like to say thanks to everyone who's taking part. This is going to be my first one in a while so i plan on making it kick ass!
What's the King of Hokkaido Tournament?:
Anyways, let me tell you about the King of Hokkaido Tournament (KOH tournament is how i'll be referring to it for the remainder of this post), The KOH tournament is our annual round robin tournament. It's like AJPWs Champions Carnival or NJPWs G1 Climax. This is the biggest tournament of the year and most prestigious as well. It's been held every year in june in some form since 2018. Starting back with it's predecessor in SSS, the Mach 20. The name would be changed and men would be allowed to enter in 2020. Changing the name of the tournament with the promotions.
How does this round robin thing work?:
Well i'm glad you asked. And even if you didn't i'll tell you anyways. Basically the tournament is split into two blocks. Block A and Block B. Both blocks have ten wrestlers in them. All ten wrestlers will face one another once within the tournament. The wrestler in each block that has the most points by the end will go into the finals to fight the winner of the opposite block.
So i make it to the finals, what do i get if i win?:
Another good question! The winner gets one million yen as well as a trophy and guaranteed shot at the J-ROK Visual Kei Championship within the next calendar year. you'll also join a list of great talents who've won the tournament and have your name cemented in the history books!
That's all great, but when is this thing going to happen?:
Tournament matches will take place from June 11th - June 28th. With the finals happening on our tba ppv on June 30th.
This is all great, but who's going to be in the thing?:
JROK competitors:
1. Jesse Jamester
2. James Raymond
3. Alexandra Calloway
4. Mark Storm
5. Shelby Morris
6. Nausicaa Suzuki
7. Yuki Sakaraba
8. Jack Gaines
9. Hayley Grimes
10. El Combatiente
11. TEMERARIO
12. Florida Man
13. Wolf Fang Ayame
14. Johnny Sniper
