Kilroy went on to promise Cross the importance of this match isn't lost on him and he would be making arrangements for something extremely special, just for him. It's going to be their first match, after all, and he knows the importance of first---and last---impressions. Cross tapped the briefcase and smiled as he said that while we’re on the topic of firsts and lasts, this is the first time you’ve seen the X*Crown title and the last time it’ll be within touching distance. Kilroy nodded as he listened to Cross finish, but then simply exited the ring, walking past Recoba to the back. Kilroy turned around briefly and said to Cross that he's sure he's great but: "I've been rappin' for about 17 years, okay? I don't write my stuff anymore I just kick it from my head, you know what I'm sayin'? I can do that. No disrespect...but that's how I am." Cross smiles at the words before mentioning most of his opponent’s start making no sense AFTER he beats them.
