I have just found out why Solo Sikoa really attacked Jon Cena. It was because he wasn't chosen to be in the Fan Duel's Sports Ap commercial where Jon Cena bellowed "YOUR GONNA MISS GRONK!" He meant former New England Patriot Rob Gronkowski and the fact that Jon Cena also appears in the new spy spoof Argyle. Imagine Solo Sikoa delivering both that line and appearing in this movie. Argyle begins with a Bond style set up where Jon Cena is enjoying some time to himself and being it's a spy spoof he engages in a car chase which ends like all car chases do before switching to another scene where an author named Ellen Conway is promoting her book. Of course not all is as seems and in a scene reminiscent of a 1985 spy satire called "Gotcha," Ellen goes on vacation and encounters a stranger on a train who claims to be a big fan of hers. The stranger is actually there to protect her and after an encounter with two female assassins they escape to London where they encounter an army of assassins sent by the leader of this organization named The Division. Ellen still doesn't trust him so he earns her trust by dropping her cat off the roof and the cat bounces off a tarp and back up to be caught by the stranger and they leap off the roof into a boat to escape. After another series of car chases and the recovery of a notebook and Ellen tipping off her mother that she's on vacation they flee to France where Ellen encounters Ali played by Samuel L. Jackson, who happens to be the name of her cat and he tells her about her past. It turns out Ellen was a secret ops agent in her past named Argyle and her memories were wiped clean and all her books were actual missions she was conducting. Ellen is off again to Saudi Arabia to encounter a mysterious woman as she slowly reverts back to her original identity and recieves a key to a device. After some more action leading to a climax aboard of all places an oil tanker Ellen and her companion battle the leader of The Organization and his henchmen. She puts knives onto her heels and does a skating routine worthy of Tonya Harding killing the henchmen and blowing up the tanker while Jon Cena and Henry Cavill speed away on a boat reminiscent of the late Jack Lemmon movie "Some Like it Hot." I enjoyed the performances especially Samuel L. Jackson, but the real standout was Ali the cat and Jon Cena and Henry Cavil weren't so bad either in the brief scenes they were in. I just wished this movie played out like one of Ellen's spy novels and she was just dreaming it was real. Still this movie was a silly spy spoof that was fun and I enjoyed it. A note that "Gotcha" was the name of a paintball war game played on campuses decades ago before it disappeared. If "Gotcha" was still around in the times that campuses are worried about gun violence on campuses. This game would have been not just banned but students would have been arrested.
