AWF REFEREES
Former XHF wrestler. Formerly - and most likely - best known as Fezzik. He nearly avoided his death after losing a burned alive match against Deathrain in the XHF. He escaped the world of wrestling for he hated the environment so much. The lies, the backhandedness. He hated the poison mentality that bred aggression and hatred. He seeks the renewal of wrestling - one he feels should it should be molded after: Sportsmanship, respect and athleticism. FULL BIO CAN BE FOUND HERE PIC BASE: Andre The Giant
Self-described former XHF Legend, Terry Bradshaw neither orthodox nor sane - but damn does he love wrestling! He was the sole financial backer and the reason the AWF could lift off the ground. Mr. Bradshaw went missing for several months following an incident that saw him accidentally crash a helicopter into the Bethesda, Ohio VFW during an episode of Prestige, which resulted in the death of business partner Timothy O' Leary, as well as countless more injured. After somehow evading the law for so long, Mr. Bradshaw is now back in AWF and hopes to once again leave his terrible, terrible mark on the business. FULL BIO CAN BE FOUND HERE PIC BASE: Terry Bradshaw
Alexander Horton was introduced to the AWF when the fledgling organization began to grow and gain popularity outside of its "home base" of Bethesda, Ohio. As a member of the Ohio Tourism Board, Horton was dispatched to the company in order to save it from financial ruin as a result of Terry Bradshaw's malpractice - in return for a significant amount of control over the business, the Tourism Board would help to bankroll AWF. With his business partners either dead or on the run, Felix Ziko was left with no alternative but to accept the Board's offer and install Horton as AWF Commissioner. Despite bringing a substantial amount of cash into AWF, as well as introducing the State Of Ohio Championship, Horton's uncompromising approach and adherence to red tape and political correctness have left him an unpopular figure with both fans and wrestlers alike. Cassius Romano is an old school wrestler who has been in the wrestling business for nearly twenty-five years. Before he retired, he was well-known in the tri-state area for his wrestling persona, "Bruiser" Cassius Romano, a hitman. He is very knowledgeable and a fundamentalist in the business, even to a fault. He is extremely professional and even has a lack of tolerance at times for his younger counterpart, Tommy Taylor. HOW TO USE HIM: He's more experienced. Feel free to mention his previous wrestling experience. Have him explain the more intricate points of wrestling that Tommy Taylor doesn't understand. PIC BASE: Paul Ellering
"Technical" Tommy Taylor was an amateur wrestler in high school. He's ranked fourth in the state's competitions and is known for his signature move, the Crucifix Ambar. He's hoping his staffing will one day allow him to wrestle for AWF when he graduates from college and the promotion picks up. HOW TO USE HIM: He's easily excited and fairly inexperienced. Make him easily amazed by moves and more prone to reaction. PIC BASE: Drake Weurtz |

Former TGK commentator Mike Morales was top of the list for AWF management when they acquired the Seattle promotion. His knowledge, experience and eloquence are eclipsed only by his crippling drinking problem, which was apparently of no concern to his new employers. After all, they already have Terry Bradshaw. It can't get any worse. HOW TO USE HIM: Mike is a veritable font of knowledge when it comes to calling in-ring action. He rarely (read: never) calls it wrong. His professionalism can fail him from time to time however, causing him to publicly air his general dissatisfaction with the product or life in general live on air for the world to hear. PIC BASE: Mauro Ranallo
A veteran of indeterminate age, Corndog Wallace followed his broadcast partner Mike Morales from Seattle to Ohio in order to join TGK. Always clad in his trademark mask Corndog exudes a jocular, happy-go-lucky personality that tends to hide his deep-seated sense of morality, as evidenced in TGK's Battle For Everything. HOW TO USE HIM: Corndog likes to make a lot of quips and jokes. He can also come across as a little bit clueless sometimes - but this is mostly down to his age. PIC BASE: Mil Mascaras (until Mad Dog makes me change him) |

Jesse Love is a recent high school graduate who hasn't found the normal business of the Bethesda, OH area to her liking. She hates menial labor and doesn't find that she can find hard work to be her thing. She loves people and finds the prospect of entertaining a crowd to be exciting. HOW TO USE HER: She won't be used for much other than ring announcing. She basically just introduces people into the ring with pep. PIC BASE: Taeler Hendrix
Charles Akiyama is a journalism major from the local Belmont College. He has limited self confidence and tries to let people know he's neat by letting friends call him Charlie. He's hoping that having connections in the professional wrestling scene would help him gain self confidence while allowing himself to practice his interviewing skills. HOW TO USE HIM: He's easily scared, but very friendly. If there's one character you can push around, it's him. PIC BASE: Katsuhiko Nakajima |
AWF REFEREES
Gabe was a high-profile referee until he was caught with steroids in his system from a routine drug test. After attacking the promoter during a counseling session, he was let go. He has since cleaned up his act and wants to climb the ranks of the referees, starting with AWF. He hopes to one day rejoin the major leagues. HOW TO USE HIM: He's very professional. He's not likely to miscall matches, but like most referees, he can be knocked out. He's not afraid to stand up to wrestlers who attempt to argue with him. PIC BASE: Charles Robinson
Steve Tyrell is young but inspired. He's inexperienced, but his heart is in the right place. All he knows about wrestling is what he sees from indie shows or from watching TV. He was hired because he's passionate. He's likely to make mistakes with ring counts, holds, but he does what he can in order to be the best ref he can be! HOW TO USE HIM: Out of all the refs, he's more skittish. He is as polite as can be, but can miscall matches every once in a while. He's absolutely terrified of Terry Bradshaw. PIC BASE: Justin King
Nate Biggs is the newest addition to the AWF family, another acquisition from TGK. In Seattle, Nate gained a reputation for being a no-nonsense referee who allowed a healthy amount of nonsense. His main concern is making sure the fans get to see an entertaining contest, and he is willing to let a lot of things slide to do so. But this doesn't mean he is a pushover - he's hard as nails, and is happy to prove it to any wrestler who steps out of line. HOW TO USE HIM: Nate is just as likely to let competitors skirt the rules as he is to enforce them. Whatever it takes to give the fans a good match without flat-out breaking the rules. PIC BASE: Herb Dean |
