THE PLEDGE
As part of our commitment to you, as handlers; the LXW management pledges the following to you. At all times, we pledge:- 100% neutral, unbiased and wholly fair approach to match judging, ensuring that the winner is the person who scored highest overall based on judging criteria, not because they’re close with the fed head.
- Transparency in the match roleplay judging, which includes a clear rubric within the rules, as well as access to your scores after each match, in the event you request them.
- A zero tolerance stance against negative, disruptive or purposely antagonistic “out of character” behavior from handlers, with guarantees that any instance of the aforementioned will end up resulting in swift action – likely removal from the fed.
- Prompt and punctual results every single week. In previous feds, we would pride ourselves on making sure our results were always on time. That remains true to form here.
- In the unlikely event that results are ever going to be delayed, you will always be informed and kept up to date with the situation.
- Fair and accurate representation of your characters in situations whereby the fed head is responsible for portraying them in match segments. We will only ever follow your portrayal of them in roleplays, as well as the information within their contracts.
- Respect and understanding at all times when communicating with staff. Never be afraid to come and chat with us.
- An open minded approach to handler feedback. Whether it’s in our public suggestion box or privately via direct messaging, we will always listen to ideas and conclude their feasibility with you. We believe the “right thing” is the thing that works for the fed and everyone in it, not what we say is the right thing based on personal preference or traditions. Fundamental rules, however, are unlikely to be changed and we’d advise against joining us if you disagree with them.
- We will never handle a competitive character in this fed, as it would be a complete conflict of interest. You can be guaranteed that you’ll never lose to the fed head or anyone else in a staff role.
- Quantity will NEVER beat quality. While we accept that handlers can as many roleplays for each match every show, we only count their highest scoring piece towards judging. Therefore, it's completely plausible (and not uncommon) for one RP to beat three, simply because the opponent's three just didn't score as high as the winner's one and only piece.
