What's wrong with that? Dolls are miniature, plastic humans. Dresses are pieces of cloth.

As a policy analyst, whoever wrote this is a total incel cuck. Is SRS expensive? Yes. You get it once, and you do hormones before it. There are very few trans people, and a procedure you pay for once that has a 95% satisfaction rate.
Part two; trans people who have transitioned have been allowed to compete in the olympics, but the disadvantages that trans people face physically are why one has never made it to the olympics. Your girl lost a race to a trans girl, I don’t give a shit, it’s shitty high school sports and I doubt your daughter was good anyways. What stupid twit wrote this?

The idea of a boy in a dress would have horrified him. It's a generational thing that deep down I believe we are getting away from and I'm trying to positively affect that, so I was a little disappointed in myself for hesitating. Obviously I'd have let him have it, but that moment of hesitation troubled me.

Also the chromosomes thing is silly. At first to be trans someone had to own enough articles of gendered clothing, then it was being perceived as a woman, then genitals, then brow ridge, it’s biological determinism ignoring the fact that the goalposts get changed over and over. Also sex doesn’t equal chromosomes, and sex isn’t one super defined category even for cis people. Trans women historically don’t cause cis women any statistically significant harm. I read this because I felt like yelling anyways, but this is gonna pass so you can write whatever scare tactic you want when you don’t have the political influence or political capital to matter.

I don't think most people understand what statistically significant means, lol. For everyone here, it's essentially a <5% chance of this happening, or 1.96 standard deviations away from the mean.

And the same people who use this unsupported narrative of dangerous trans women ignore alllllllll the ways cis men ARE dangerous to cis women. Like, I’d rather do something about 1/5 women being sexually assaulted than 1/100000 being assaulted by a trans person.

the article itself. i'm just not sure what it's going on about all the much, haha. but i do believe everyone deserves to be treated with respek and as people though. Weather you or i agree with their decisions or choices or not. So I definitely agree with Bobby and it really says a lot about you that you can treat people with basic decency regardless of whether or not you understand their life choices. So there are two words used interchangeably - sex and gender. They sound like they mean the same, but it's very much different. Sex is essentially referring to your chromosomes. It's most commonly referring to your sexual state as having a penis or vagina. A huge misconception here is that everyone is either a male (XY) or a female (XX). They're the most common, but the rest are actually common enough to be surprising and may be without phenotypes, so you may not know it. Then there is gender. Gender is essentially your identity within a culture. If you feel oneness, like you belong in the same group, with all the men, you're a man. This is something that's essentially assigned to you at birth by your parents. They call you a boy, paint your room blue, mold you within the cisgender (corresponding sex and gender) culture and most people (like us, assumingly) accept it without issue. However, many people identify to be the other one, because they don't fit with the role decided unto them. The conflict many have is that many people claim they have mental illness (even though psychologists have said being transgender by itself or not agreeing with your assigned gender is not a mental illness), then they've said that they are worried about men pretending to be women when they don't actually identify as such going into women's restrooms (even though there's no evidence of this happening, along with several other issues.) The main issues here is people don't do critical thinking and deep research and they tend to slap labels on what they don't understand. It's intellectual laziness. Nah...if you have a dick, you're a man. It doesn't matter what you think you are. Men have dicks. Also..up until about 5 minutes ago trans was a mental illness

Also, I'd like sources that up until five years ago, being transgender was a mental disorder, because I have sources that say that being transgender doesn't necessarily fit into gender dysphoria, which has existed for a long time.

Want to provide me a source?

So one article about penis size doesn't talk about the dicks of trans women and vaginas of trans men, so alllll science agrees with you? It couldn't be that the convo about penis size is mainly centered around P in V or presumably heterosexual sex or anything.. this seems kinda like a dumb thing to say, but intentionally dumb?
