The EIWL is a "local promotion" based out of a fictional county in Northern California called Jackson County. It is comprised of three major cities where we have shows: Jackson, Elk Grove, & Stockton.
The fed is roleplay based with matches simulated in TNM and winners written in based on the roleplay winner. I do the simulation so that I can focus more on each individual wrestler's story. I know this can be a sticking point, so please do check out our sample match in the forums if you have any concerns.
As The Big Kahuna, the owner and operator of the EIWL, I will be heavily involved in roleplaying and, at first, will be laying the foundation for the story and the setting. Other "npc" characters will be involved and help me move the story along. The staff and other npc characters can be viewed under the Staff sticky in the roster forums.
If you have ANY questions about your character before or after you apply, please let me know. This can include what city your character may be living in or around the area now that they've signed up, what places they may be visiting or working out at, etc.
Above all else, just know that the EIWL is a living and interactive game about what it means to be a part of a re-started regional type wrestling federation in today's world. Your character's story is important - but how they interact with the setting, the overall story, and the other participants is what will bring all of us the real enjoyment.
