WRESTLER APPLICATION
Birth Name: Sasaki Isoruko
Ring Name: El Arlequín
Height: 6'0"
Weight: 205 lbs.
Birth Place: January 23rd, 1995 - 24 y/o - Osaka, Japan
Billed From: Osaka, Japan
Alignment: Tweener, true neutral.
GIMMICK SUMMARY
A cocky, flashy, showboating performer who carries a penchant to make a show wherever he goes, El Arelquin's flashy moves and flips are simply a mask for insanely innovative offense, incredibly hard strikes, and a never-say-die attitude that puts most of his opponents in the ground precisely when he wants them to be.
HISTORY
A young wrestler who went on an excursion to train in Mexico, El Arlequin built his in-ring persona around the flashiness of Lucha Libre with the standard tenets of strong style wrestling in Japan. He blended the two styles together, never truly making a name for himself in his early days in Japan nor in his time in Mexico, and seeks to return to his homeland to show a new side of himself, one that, hopefully, will earn him the fame he feels he deserves.

Finishing Moves
- The Frowning Clown - Electric Chair Half Nelson Driver
- Harlequin's Kiss - Sit-Out Tilt-a-Whirl Gourdbuster
- End of the Show - Spanish Fly from the top rope followed by a Standing Moonstomp.

- The Whole F**king Show - Cannonball Senton, sometimes to a seated opponent, sometimes to a standing one (from the top rope)
Wrestling Style
- A mix of springboard, high-flying and striking manuevers, El Arlequin seeks to keep his opponents at range and on their feet with a fast-paced arsenal of strikes and flips. His moveset can be described as adaptive and unorthodox, mixing the fast-paced flight of Lucha Libre with the strong strikes and brutal impact of Japanese Strong Style. Common manuevers include:
-Kicks and knees, including, but not limited to: Superkicks, Heel Kicks, Pele Kicks, Dropkicks, Running Single and Double Knees, Shotgun Variants, etc.
-Roll-ups, including but not limited to: Schoolboy roll-ups, Small Packages, Headscissors, etc.
-Strikes including elbows, forearms, etc.
-Top Rope variants of most of his normal strikes in addition to sentons and crossbodies.
-Leg-locks and other manuevers to trip up and slip up an opponent.
-Other, standard striking manuevers and behaviors.
Entrance Theme
- KNGDAVID - Poppies
ENTRANCE
El Arlequin enters the arena as his theme begins, his hood up hiding his mask and the rest of his ring gear. He steps out with his back facing the crowd, the image of the laughing clown on the back of his jacket visible until the chorus starts and he throws the jacket to the ground, revealing his mask and the rest of his ring gear. He approaches the ring with a bit of a swagger, approaching the ropes and pulling himself up before he leaps up, springboards, and lands in the center of the ring, kipping up to his feet and giving double-birds to whoever his opponent is.
IN RING APPEARANCE
Perhaps the most remarkable part of El Arlequin's appearance is his mask, which appears to have been inspired by a demon or skeleton of sorts. It has the general appearance of a skeleton, with fins/wings on the side that appear to flare out. The mask itself is black-and-white, although he has different variants depending on how big the match is. The mask itself is open at the mouth, and he usually wears facepaint to give the illusion of skeletal teeth, as well as revealing his beard.
His in-ring gear consists of long wrestling tights that are black and white, covered in clown-skull insignias, as well as kneepads (with a Harlequin mask on either) and a pair of long boots. He wears specially designed gloves on his hands, which only cover his middle and pointer fingers on both hands.
