Hello. My name is Gideon Rogers and as always, I bring to you the radio program called Talk Tactics. A show about the current and upcoming going ons for Riot Star Wrestling.
Anarchy 49. A night of revelations and all around new screw jobs for the night.
We begin the night with Esmeralda von Krauss coming down to the ring. You know it's sad when I miss the antics of Armand von Krauss as he was sort of a "hands off" kind of owner while Esmeralda is out as much as possible. She comes down to the ring to announce whom her new security crew is going to be.
I have to say that I'm not really shocked on whom she chose to be the new security. Gabriel Tuck, Sticky the Clown, and the rest of Gabriel's clown gang? Thugs and nightmares brought to life. I can't imagine a worse choice to be installed as security than Gabriel Tuck. I mean sure, he is a former World champion from another company where actual pro wrestlers were hard to find, but really? We could have gotten more mileage out of a trained monkey. Certainly more dedication to actual rules rather than whatever they feel like enforcing. You're more likely now to have sexual harassment cases from Gabriel Tuck going to female fans and don't get me started on the nightmares formed just from a dead eyed stare from Sticky the Clown. I already miss Big Ass Hank.
The first match of the night was the monster Caleb Koresh against the near permanent erection wrestler in the form of Joe Beb. Now, I don't understand why Joe Beb is allowed to wrestle with an erection at all. He should be forced to go "take care of himself" before he walks down to the ring. Certainly, Andi Snow found out the harm that can be done with the erection slamming into her eye when they had their match. This match was different though in that Caleb Koresh dominated Joe Beb with a little help from cousin, Emily Koresh. Security was no help in this situation, but the new security guards are Koresh fans so...no help there. The match ended with a boot crushing the perpetual erection to break it? I know that it bent and I think some of the spongy tissue must have torn. I had no idea that you could break a penis or how one puts a broken penis back together, but I suppose that's a puzzle up to Doctors now. Caleb Koresh showed the fans and Joe Beb why he's a force to be reckoned with.
I see in a whole segment of him talking himself up that Adam Reck has decided to make a return to RSW. He had defeated Eddie Havok to win a title shot and then didn't make too much of himself in that title shot. Will he put forth the effort in his second run here in RSW? Who knows. It does look as if he's going to paint himself up upon his return. Will that make a difference? Looking all emo? God knows.
Then we get the rematch of Pequeno Dinosaurio and Leon Dread. This was a heck of a match. Pequeno gets a little bit of momentum built up and Leon shatters it with his greater size and strength. I mean Leon just tossed Pequeno around the ring like a rag doll half of the time before Pequeno managed to pull off a win. I think this one is going to go to a third match at Pandemonium to break the tie. I'm pulling for Pequeno over the monster that is Leon, but I won't hold my breath.
We get a look at Gabriel Tuck and Sticky the Clown in the security control center. Great, guys. Find a place to hide and drink beer. Big Ass Hank spent most of his time in the field with someone else regulated to the control room to watch the cameras. Before we fade to commercial, I see that they are doing their job in trying to catch a shoplifter so maybe this is something of an improvement? I don’t know. Hank didn’t have to be on camera to catch shoplifters or do his job in general. Just saying.
Before we get to another match, we see Alyssa Lucchi backstage and talking to Esmeralda von Krauss. She informs Alyssa that Andi is seeking a part time interviewer position (untrue) to get Alyssa riled up enough to accept a part time wrestler position to take Andi Snow on in a match at Pandemonium. Unless Alyssa has some kind of natural wrestling talent, I’m not sure what this little of training is going to do to prepare her for the in ring action. I’m not sure if Esmeralda is trying to get Alyssa to bring down Andi or having Alyssa injured in the ring to take out the support system that keeps D grounded so that he unleashes his full darkness against Shane Mitchell in the ring. It makes me wonder if Esmeralda is trying to get Mitchell killed in the ring. I wouldn’t put it past her. I don’t think Riot Star Wrestling can handle another in ring death and stay in business though.
Now this next match I find to be a bit surprising. Not because Andi Snow managed to get a win over Senor Vinnie, I know she’s talented enough to do such a thing. It’s the placement of the match that I found to be shocking. The match was scheduled to be earlier in the night, but didn’t happen. Was Andi Snow taking too long to get ready for her match? Was Vinnie spending a long time in speaking to his cactus to get down to the ring? I don’t know if we will ever know the truth for the delay in the match, but it was a good one. Vinnie being much larger than Andi dominated some of the match as to be expected. He tossed her around the ring much in the same way that Leon Dread tossed Pequeno Dinosaurio around the ring, but Andi kept coming back for more. I did see that Shane Mitchell’s daughter, Ellie, came down to support her friend in the ring. I also saw that Andi got her face mashed like it was a bowl of potatoes. She may or may not be seeing her cosmetics doctor after this match. Still, this was a big win for Andi Snow and I see her going places in the future. Maybe a World title shot at Shadow Wars? I heard a rumor that it’s going to take place in Andi’s hometown of Los Angeles. Might be the perfect time and place for it.
The next match was a domination of Isaiah Zepp over LA Johnny Stylez. The match was surprisingly brief as I’m not even certain that Stylez knew that he was even in the ring in the first place to have enough wits about himself to defend against the onslaught of Zepp. Isaiah Zepp, gearing up for his rematch against Senor Vinnie at Pandemonium for both the Anarchy and the Legacy titles. It was a pretty decent tune up match for Zepp to keep momentum going into the ppv. Now if only he can keep it up. Senor Vinnie isn’t going to let him rest on his laurels at the ppv.
And once again we go backstage where Esmeralda von Krauss is meddling. She meets with Kintaru to promise him a World title match at Night of Champions if he can defeat Shane Mitchelll tonight. At first I was thinking that she was going to offer him a chance to be a contender for the X*Crown, but after reviewing what happened a second time I understood it to be a shot at the RSW World title. You have to wonder if Kintaru has a preference of who will come out of Pandemonium as the champion or if he will involve himself in the match to slant the outcome of the match one way or another.
And then we get to D against Steve Murdock. This was a farce of a match as Esmeralda von Krauss came down to the ring to join her new security crew and then directed the clowns to storm the ring to knock Murdock out of the way on their way to attack D. Steve Murdock made a charge with a steel chair, fighting side by side with D to clear out the clowns from the ring. That lasted about as long as it took to clear the security crew out of the ring and then D turned on Steve Murdock to blast him with the steel chair to put him down. The match just sort of ended as D left Steve Murdock down in the ring. Think that Steve Murdock is going to forgive and forget what happened on this night? Yeah, I don’t think so. Just being in the ring with Steve Murdock is often bad news. Having the crazy man pissed at you is a whole ‘nother ballgame. D is going to have to watch his back at Pandemonium. We could see both Kintaru and Steve Murdock getting involved in the main event for their own nefarious reasons.
The final match of the night was a shocker. Not only did Kintaru actually come down to the ring to face Shane Mitchell, but he came away from the match as a winner. Sure, there was help from D to ensure that Mitchell took a loss tonight, but a loss is a loss is a loss. I know D didn’t win his match either, but he didn’t really lose it either while Mitchell clearly lost his match. Mitchell took a measure of vengeance out on Kintaru after the match until he was once again saved by D, who refused a handshake before the night was over. I wouldn’t give the devil that is Kintaru the pleasure of a handshake either. Just like Esmeralda wasn’t crazy enough to shake his hand earlier in the night. I would say that going into Pandemonium that D has a certain amount of momentum going in over Shane Mitchell, but the champion has surprised before. He is nearly a year into holding onto the World championship after winning it from Dylan Erickson last year at Night of Champions in the Sky Pyramid Death match.
From here let's get into Pandemonium. The first thing to know is that every single match in the show has rules that will shift throughout the match.
Let me give you an example. The match starts out with regular rules and then buzzzz it's not a hardcore match. A few minutes later buzzzz it's a technical match. A few minutes later buzzz and a cage is lowered down over the ring.
Pandemonium. The Rules Will Change.
We begin the night with a tag team debut. The Convicted take on Arnold and Olympia. A pair of bodybuilders that would be more at home with a pose off than they would an actual match. "Chronic" Eric Chronister and "Homie" Aaron Ortiz make up the Convicted. A pair of thugs that met up in prison. How shocking that they would find their way to Riot Star Wrestling. This match will be something of a massacre.
We then go into the third time that Pequeno Dinosaurio and Leon Dread face in the ring. Leon won the first match between the two, Pequeno won the rematch. Now the two face off again for the tiebreaker. Who will win in this classic meet up of David and Goliath? Only time will tell.
The next thing we have scheduled for the night is an interview with the Family. The brutal Koreshes will come down to the ring to have a talk with Alyssa Lucchi or perhaps Billie Macdonald since Alyssa will be getting ready for a match.
I have to go back to the tag team match. It seems that I was mistaken. Arnold and Olympia will not be attending the match and instead will be facing the team known as Last Direction that is comprised of Joseph McGee and Frankie Jones. Seems that I looked at the wrong schedule. Happens.
Then we begin the real chaos. A four way dance, but only two of the wrestlers are allowed in the ring at the same time. The others must be tagged in or tag themselves in during the match to try to win.
The first of the four way dances consists of Kintaru, Dexter Payne, Johnny Stylez, and Adam Reck. On the surface it looks like a match handpicked for Kintaru to win. I don't know much about the debuting Dexter Payne. Johnny Stylez hasn't shown me very much and neither has Adam Reck. Kintaru is fresh off a victory over Shane Mitchell so he has to be riding high into this match. Assuming that he even comes to the arena.
The second four way dance is even more valuable as it says that the winner will find themself with an Anarchy title shot. I can only assume that this will be a combination title shot of both Anarchy and Legacy titles since the two are kind of combined right now until the roster numbers improve.
The second four way dance consists of Joe Beb, Mila Rader, Caleb Koresh, and Steve Murdock.
This one is a bit more competitive. Joe Beb will be looking for vengeance against Caleb Koresh for the broken penis. Milar Rader is new and will be looking to prove herself. Caleb Koresh will want to be continuing his domination. And Steve Murdock will be looking to show that he is the most violent man on the entire planet. I still would bet on Caleb Koresh to win, but I could be wrong.
Then we get a rather interesting confrontation in the form of Alyssa Lucchi against Andi Snow. Alyssa has been not only jealous of Andi Snow, but a number of confrontations between the two has nearly become violent. Thanks to Esmeralda von Krauss' manipulations, this match will go forward. Who will win? I can't imagine Alyssa becoming a fierce wrestler overnight, but then again I never imagined that Andi Snow would defeat those that she has defeated thus far in her career either. I can only hope that the miscommunications and such between the two can be laid to rest after this match.
Then we have the Anarchy and Legacy titles on the line as Senor Vinnie takes on Isaiah Zepp to try to win his titles back. Vinnie is fresh off a defeat from Andi Snow while Zepp plowed through Johnny Stylez. Isaiah Zepp clearly has the edge in this match, but don't count Senor Vinnie out. He has been dominant here in RSW with the exception of the last two defeats. He can easily turn this around and win both titles from a man who has been known to choke on occasion.
This brings us to the main event of the evening. Where D gets another chance at Shane Mitchell to try to win the World title. What depths will D sink to win the title? What depths will Shane Mitchell sink to in order to keep it? This match of all the matches on the show has the potential to go dark and bloody. Who will go on to XHF Night of Champions as World champion? Only time will tell.
