The camera opens on an overturned U-Haul on the highway, not more than twenty five yards from a gas station. The investigators looking over the scene come to the front of the truck, flashlights turned on to beat the darkness of the night sky around them. They are careful not to step on any broken glass as they look for evidence of what caused the truck to flip.
The tag on the bottom right hand corner of the camera reveals the time as 2:00AM PT on July 11th as the investigators yell about finding someone still in the front seat. The man’s arm is clearly broken, and the rest of his body is bloody. The body’s suit is torn and worn, more than likely the results of the broken glass. He looks familiar, but it’s hard to tell. They realize it’s a corpse a few moments before, placing the body on the ground. A coroner begins to look over the body as the investigators move to the back of the vehicle.
The back doors of the truck are wide open. The investigators look at the locking mechanism, which seems to have broken whenever the truck was flipped. The welts and twisted metal walls of the truck are so noticeable that even with the eye in the sky footage, we can see multiple impacts quite clearly. In fact, a few of the wall’s markings look almost like they’ve been punched in.
One of the investigators seems to ask for a few of the other men on the scene to help him. They jump into the truck and a few minutes later, they pull out a cage. The bars of the cage are bent from the top and stretched outward, allowing for a gap that a monster would have no trouble escaping. Some of the bars have been broken off as well.
The EMTs bag the body from the outside of the truck and begin the process of loading it into the ambulance. The investigators look at the cage, and what’s left of the overturned truck. They are absolutely dumbfounded as the sounds of late night sports radio play from the gas stations’’ speakers. This finally gets the attention of one of the investigators, who points up at the camera. They begin to make their way towards the gas station, hoping to find anything that will make things clear.

The timestamp on the camera now says 10:14PM on the 10th. Sure enough, the truck is now right side up, as it drives into the station and gets parked right next to one of the diesel pumps. The driver, the corpse we saw earlier, hops out of the U-Haul. He is obviously very disgruntled as his grumbling can be heard from the camera, something about funding. He goes to pay at the pump but realizes he needs to go inside to pay. He curses and shakes his head. As the man pays for his gas, the sounds of sports radio from the speaker can be heard quite clearly.

As the ad begins to run down the card, the truck… seems to move a slight bit. Just ever so slightly.

At this point, the truck definitely shakes. One of the sides of the truck even lifts off the ground for a moment.

Subject #42!
There it is again. The truck is definitely shaking. A loud bang is heard. About fifteen seconds later, another, and then another, and so on. The shaking of the truck suddenly stops as a loud thud sounds through the station, rocking the truck. The thud is only partially masked by the speaker playing the radio station. As the man finishes paying for his gas, the ad from the radio stops.
The man picks up the nozzle and begins to fill the gas up in his truck. The camera gets a better view of who the man is, and it becomes obvious: it’s Franklin, the operative we had just seen a few days ago. He finishes filling up the truck and climbs back inside. We hear the sound of the engine as he starts the truck.
As the truck begins to drive away, the sounds inside the truck come back to life. The sound of banging can be heard as the truck peels off the lot… and topples over! Glass shatters everywhere. The hard impact makes a loud crashing noise as the truck crashes down onto the road, seemingly have been overturned from the inside. There are no other cars at the gas station or on this particular stretch of Nevada highway, so the overturned truck just sits there for a few moments before a familiar roar is heard.
The backdoors of the truck nearly explode open. Pulling itself from the wreckage is Subject #42. It falls onto the ground, and we get a look at the giant hairless Freak. It is covered in its own blood as it picks itself off of the road. It roars and beats its chest in a show of dominance, before looking up at the sky. It points at something and turns its body completely around. It is seems to be focused on the stars, maybe on a constellation of some kind. Once it locates what it is looking for, it begins walking in that direction.
The signs around the gas station and the highway reveal where Subject #42 is headed: north. The camera cuts.
