Current Champion:
Dylan Black
As conspiracy theories go, this is more fact than fiction - the title was only created to put over Jefe. It's true, unfortunately... But times changed and as Jefe became more of a selfless leader when it came to his band of misfits, the title was lifted off of his shoulders and given to the enemy, Brad Swann's guinea pig, Jeffery Viper. Jefe never managed to get the title back, instead sacrificing his life for the sake of his brand - Dylan Black, 'son' of Jeffery took his place and capped off a two year feud to finally win the big one.
Title History:
3. Dylan Black df. Jeffery Viper (C) 29/07/19 (367+)
Dylan capped off a two year feud with his own father to finally win the big one at XHF Night of Champions 10, the biggest night of the Network's calendar year!
DEFENCES: 3
Dylan Black df. Jefe in the main event of VISION III when the match was ruled off by the referee, after Jefe had been disembodied by a mysterious figure wielding a chainsaw.
Dylan Black df. Mutt during Game of Boats | Part 2 when he blasted both him and King Edmund IV out of the Barge's window and into the ocean, retaining the title by countount.
Dylan Black df. Jefe and Big Drag somehow. Drag had maimed Dylan, chopping off both his left arm and his right leg, yet when things looked bleak the Trons turned up and portalled Dylan away - controversy now surrounds the ending of the match, seeing as Dylan was zapped away on the count of three.
2. Jeffery Viper df. Jefe (C) and Dylan Viper 16/03/19 (135)
In what was meant to be Dylan's grand crowning, Brad Swann screwed him out of his victory and in some Vince Russo esq. booking Jeffery Viper, Dylan's dad, joined the match at CW In the Nest of a Viper and pinned Jefe to win the world championship.
DEFENCES: 1
Jeffery Viper df. Postal Pat in the main event of CW's biggest ever show Champion Conquest 2019. Everyone thought Jeffery was beaten as Postal Pat pinned him for the one, two three... But it turns out that it was actually Jefe and the match was restarted. Viper eventually won after two Viper Stings to Jefe and the Champion Brand secured themselves as the only brand in CW. This also saw Swann announce the closure of CW following XHF: Night of Champions 10.
1. Jefe created belt - declared himself champ 17/11/18 (119)
Jefe is an enigma in the wrestling industry, and why this whole charade even exists baffles many. Basically put, Jefe crowned himself champion after creating the federation.
DEFENCES: 5
Jefe df. The Mongolian Giant at CW's first event/PPV 'Wrasslemania' in a ladder match to retain the World title. Many found the booking unfair and unlawful as Mongolian Giant didn't know how to wrestle and Jefe had only bought ladders that matched his size, not the Giant's - meaning there was absolutely no way Mongolian Giant could win the match-up.
Jefe df. Daruun Michael in a six man tag team match at CW's three show special, Jefe Wars (Empire Strikes Back). This match ended with Jefe abusing his lightning powers, as he played the Emperor, and ultimately killing fan favorite Daruun Michael in the process. This pushed Jefe as the top heel in the company, whether he liked it or not, and cemented him as the go-to evil guy in Champoon Wrasslin'.
Jefe df. The Uruguayan Giant via stoppage in a title defense for 12 fans at the some place, Trinidad, Uruguay. This marked the fourth stop in the Champoon Wrasslin' 2019 World Tour, having started in North America and eventually travelling further and further into Southern America territory. Whether or not the Uruguayan Giant was the Mongolian Giant under a guise is up to your own interpretation.
Jefe df. Jefe on Champoon Wrasslin's return event, Archival Assault. This was a five second match that saw Jefe go over with a Jefeslam. After the match, Jefe revealed he had sold 51% of CW's stock, mistakenly putting 51 instead of 49. Brad Swann came out, and revealed HE had bought the stock... And he was going to RE-BRAND Champoon Wrasslin into a serious fed titled Champion Wrestling!
Jefe df. "Epic" Scott Matthews by pinfall after 'Punished' Big Drag returned and cost him the matchup, this happened at the Redemption PPV and saw Drag cement himself as "The Man in the Middle", taking out BOTH Brad Swann and Jefe.
