Hey everyone! If you haven't already read Night of Champions 10 WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH YOUR LIFE!? Check it out hereNight of Champions was dope as heck and all the feds brought their best and we had a great X*Crown match to top it all off. You should be proud of all the awesome stuff that's come out this month (and the other months too, y'all). But I know some feds are trying to set up their future schedules so I thought I'd bring this up early. As it stands the End of Days schedule is: Sept 29 - End of Days Tournament Oct 6 - End of Days Tournament Oct 13 - End of Days Tournament/ Probably Elimination for X*Crown Contenders Oct 20 - End of Days Tournament Oct 27 - End of Days Final/X*Crown Match For those of you who don't know, End of Days is our major yearly tournament with representatives from all the feds competing for a title shot of their choosing within their character's fed. This assumes then that any fed that sends a rep or two (we still need to figure out the math) is agreeing that they will give the title shot when requested by the EoD winner. Those of you who have experienced EoD know that it is a lot of fun but also very grueling. There's a lot of writing to be done and last year we sort of were bailed out by Duke and DT doing the lion's share. This year we likely won't be so lucky since DT might be busy that time and Duke is getting major surgery and we'll see what his condition is when he comes back. To that end there's two things I want to announce: 1. The Tag-Tournament we did last year was an experiment- and it was successful and fun but it was also adding to the already difficult schedule for writers and rpers and so the Network Admins have already opted to cut it. 2. Because of that, I am putting forth the opportunity for feds to "piggy back" on the shows. That is to say, if you're running a show on an EoD week, we can combine the two shows together. The benefit of this is that whoever the show runner is that week can add segments from both sections AND it'll be easier to book around your characters who are in the tournament instead of accidental double-booking or not having enough guys due to the tournament. So you can run a lighter show attached to the End of Days show. This makes one large show instead of two-three smaller ones. We did it in 2017 with AWF co-presenting a few episodes of EoD and it worked really well as they'd only have one or two multimans on the show so everyone got booked but the resources were more evenly divided (because we're gonna need help with writing the tournament matches dawgs!) So if your fed would like to co-present any of the End of Days episodes let us know (here in this thread ideally). Again, this helps everyone to conserve writing resources so that we come out of it less tired, lol. Rock on guys, I'm excited for the new season of the XHF Network!

Also, I would like the request that all fed heads and rpers make sure that their are picture bases in profiles atleast by the week before End of Days season begins. As someone who likes to help out on the graphic side of things for XHF it is a pain trying to track down pictures for people who supply no picture base. Part of the reason someone randomly got Zach Effron for Night of Champions

It's stopping graphics guys from putting your characters on the layout banners and it is mega hard tracking everyone down for global events. End of Days is weeks of matches so we need to know who you guys look like for that. So please fed heads, add pic base to the basic application form and either fill-in/hound members to fill-in the old applications with said pic bases to get everyone on the same page

I can help take some strain off in terms of recording matches but I can't go super gimmicky since the match options are rather limited.

So, have we begun the discussion of how many slots for what feds yet? So I know how many people to prod/beg into joining the tournament. I figure it would be a smaller number than last year with there being more feds.

Raiden: That's great to hear, as long as you're cool with making guys, lol. The tournament will be normal singles matches so no need to worry there
Vastrix: We have not but in the discord Raiden crunched some numbers and depending on the number of feds who participate we'd be looking at 1-2 per fed since there's 16 slots

I'd just have to look at profiles for wrestlers and possibly double-check with the handlers to make sure I'm creating them properly.

DW does run shows every Sunday (coming off break very shortly. Will have to see how that all lines up. From the looks of it DW will be a constant lead in.

We have bi weekly shows and are happy to have a match or two incorporated on our shows at SWAT.
What are the rules so our guys know what they are in for? RP Max? Word limits or anything? All written or videos as well? (some dont like this stuff, and wont play alongside it, so dont give a shit)

Last year we were posting 5-7 rps per match at times on a weekly show. Crazy stuff. As per the pic base comments, how about we create a "rep thread" in the booking section and fed heads have to submit the name, pic base and app of whoever is submitted? Without all 3, they are null?

All written or videos as well? (some dont like this stuff, and wont play alongside it, so dont give a shit) Well the matches themselves probably wouldn't fit in with SWAT style- and your crew might not like a sudden switch to this style for co-producing shows, lol HOWEVER, in terms of rules since SWAT will hopefully be sending at least one guy (again, we still haven't done the math) they'll fall under XHF rules. XHF Rules are no limits but getting rps in earlier is more helpful- the closer and closer to the show day you get the less and less weight your rps hold. It's how we used to book in the old XHF and the weight comes from the fact that we usually book about mid-week and its a lot harder to change a vote than it is to get that vote in the first place The match results themselves are likely going to be a mix of written and video since I'm not sure how many writers we'll get to help us with the matches and Raiden has kindly offered to record some here and there (and I'm not gonna turn that down, lol)

Haha, sniped my reply. That's not a bad idea about the rep thread. Obviously it's too early now (probably we'll start that talk mid-August. But yeah, that'd be helpful. Also it'd be good for the feds to add pic base to the apps anyway, lol

matches could easily fit into our show format
you promo for them where and how you like, and write them and send them to us, and we post them along with our show, exact same as they would be incorporated on any other written show, if some of the matches are not written and video or such, simple, dont assign them to our show
as for the rules, thanks, we'll pass them around and see who is interested in represnting us, some dont like too many rps, have real lives and thats why we have only two rp a show max with us, some dont care
how do you judge, is it more is better or quality or what?
is it 5 good decent average promos beats one great or two reallll good rps?
members need to know that stuff going in
the question on video also was on video rps, not video match, as oppossed to written rps, so you have both of them also?

DT, Kanyon, and I generally look at a few different things that are also somewhat carryover from the XHF- but ultimately quality is over quantity. If your guy drops two real nice promos and the opponent puts out like 5 garbage ones your guy would still likely pick up the win. What happened last year is we had guys go ham with great promos (Duke vs Van anyone?), lol. I will note though that we do pay attention to effort, so if one guy is trying different things and being creative each time it'll certainly catch our eyes more than somebody who just does a generic "talk at the camera for 20 minutes" promo -As for video promos? Right now only Jeffery Viper does them- but I mean if your guys want to do a video promo that's fine- just know that if their faces is on it it's now their pic base. We're real hard judges for videos though. Like if a guy just rambles in front of a camera for 3 minutes without any real semblance of any effort then it's not gonna rate high. Viper's promos used to be like that and some of his character development ones still are- but generally now he puts in enough effort where it would have been easier to write, lol
