THE BIOGRAPHY OF PHANTOM STAR WRESTLING: PAGE ONE...
Welcome to Phantom Star Wrestling, the newest creation in cruiserweight wrestling. I am The Cosmo Kid, owner, and General manager of PSW. I started out in wrestling just a couple of years ago when I joined a small indy company called the AWA. The owner took a leap of faith if you would when he signed a young 18-year-old newbie fresh out of wrestling school. He gave me a chance and I shot off with it when I became the AWA's first and only Cruiserweight Champion.
After just a few weeks the company closed down, leaving me unemployed and not sure where to go from there. But I still hold that AWA Cruiserweight championship and it hangs on my office wall. Although my time with the AWA was brief yet eventful it did give me the basics I needed for a cruiserweight career.
Even though I am only 20 years old right now, I have spent the better part of the last two years on the road, checking out the Indy wrestling scene. Now don't get me wrong I haven't been checking out just any and all Indy companies. No just the lightweight, cruiserweight and Luchador companies. I wanted to see the guys who amaze the wrestling world with their high flying, speed and crazy moves when they step into the ring.
After the first couple of months, I began to make connections in the world of cruiserweight wrestling and well to be honest wrestling period. I continued to research these companies and the talented members of this elite division of wrestling. A few more months went by as I now had contacts all over the globe. I also was given an amazing idea as I traveled the roads, I wanted to start my own company but not just any plain Jane company. I refused to run and start just another run of the mill Hardcore based company, or another dime a dozen High Dollar, overpriced I'm better than you boring Family-friendly company.
So I thought long and hard, researched every aspect of it and decided to create a company I did have experience with and take what has always been the greatest division, the backbone of wrestling and form an actual company dedicated to that style of wrestling. I came up with the concept of Phantom Star Wrestling.
A company that is all about the cruiserweights, the Luchadors and the lightweights of the wrestling world. So the more I thought about it, the more excited I become, the idea of all-out high flying, speed-driven, a wild and crazy company putting on shows that no other company could. Blew me away!
So as I looked around for investors and places who would give a 20-year-old unemployed beginner, yes I said beginner. Because it was just the beginning of my journey, a loan. I wasn't very successful in finding anyplace that would loan me the money. So as I sat trying to think of a way to come up with the money. I started receiving phone calls from the wrestlers across the world that I had been scouting and well I was able to come up with the money to open Phantom Star Wrestling.
So now as I prepare to go global with the new company I am ready to take on all comers and all wrestlers who want to be apart of PSW.
