Star's Biography
Not much is known of Space Oddity's early years... not even by Oddity himself. His real name, date and place of birth are a mystery, as is anything that occurred before April 1st, 1997. Even then, the man who would eventually assume the name of Leo Gemini appears to be very reluctant to talk about much of the next ten years. All anybody knows is that at some point in the past twenty-two years, he developed a deep affinity for all things astronomical and, by some strange extension, the "superstars" of professional wrestling. Drawn to this exciting and enthralling world, he put himself through the ringer of various wrestling schools and independent minor-league promotions. When Cosmo Kid opened Phantom Star Wrestling in August 2019, Oddity packed every possession he owned, no-showed his next booking, and drove himself to PSW headquarters to ask for a job in-person.
Phantom Star Entrance
An abridged version of Powerman 5000's "Space Oddity" cover hits and a sci-fi light show plays across the stage as smoke fills the entranceway. As the music ramps up in intensity, Space Oddity walks out through the curtain and takes a knee, head down - waiting for the lyrics to kick in. As they do, he springs up and runs the aisle to the ring, sliding under the bottom rope and then running up to the top of one of the turnbuckles as stars are projected down into the ring and across the crowd. The music fades out and the lights come back up, as Oddity jumps down into his corner.
