K.E.Y. ("blahblahblahblah") = Spoken in Japanese ("blahblahblahblah") = Rin Kubo ("blahblahblahblah") = Shizuku Yamamoto |
=====
(“I’ll assume that none of you know who we are.”)
Enter our ears as we find ourselves facing a pair of Japanese brunette sitting on a stool each, the lighter haired on the right while the darker sits on the left. Behind them is a huge green screen that takes consumes the entire background behind them.
(“My name is Shizuku Yamamoto.”)
(“My name is Rin, not ‘Run’, Kubo.”)
(“Together we are SKY Force and while we are going to invade Sakura Shoujo Stampede, we are here to become the fifth winners of Bad Company.”)
The pair boldly declare as the screen behind them begins to flicker between the Bad Company logo and highlights of previous Bad Company tournaments.
(“We understand that many don’t share our opinion. There are multiple tag team champions in the Four Corners Wrestling bracket alone, from the likes of Thot Chocolate and Duce Jones & Krayzie to the double-double champions of 4CW themselves American Mangs. There are also a plethora of solo successes who seek to add more to their legacies, like Kaven Drell, Elena DreDraca and AJ Morales. Meanwhile previous winners, Jason Cashe and Cyrus Riddle, planning to become the first individual to become a two time Bad Company winner. Add in a few dark horses here and there then I’m certain that we’re not only the most obscure team in this bracket, but are also one of the smallest entries who are probably expected to take this as some kind of experience that should be enjoyed…”)
(“BUT WE ARE NOT SOME YOUNG LIONESSES ON EXCURSION!”)
Rin’s voice booms across the room, silencing her partner as the background changes to rough pieces of footage that shows the pair’s more brutal moments as a team during their matches in the independent circuit of Japan.
(“We are SKY Force! We don’t take shit, we give shit! We don’t get fucked up, we fuck people up! We don’t overlook any of those great teams, we are the ones who often get overlooked! And while many of them think they’re going to use us as stepping stones towards victory, we are in fact going to be the ones who step on each and every one of them as we use their bodies as the stairway to our heaven of glory.
For we aren’t little snowflakes who’ll cry on twitter whenever somebody says something that offends either of us. We are the north who’ll shatter the shoutside of elysium, be it in mind or online. We are the high octane duo who eliminates all thoughts of valor from those who dare to cross us. We are the union that will eradicate every scum that even thinks of standing in our way, if that is what we need to do to leave the Wells Fargo Center with not only the million dollars but also the 4CW Tag Team Championships.
We might be the most unknown entity in this entire tournament but that is more a problem for them than for us, as twelve days won’t be anywhere near enough time for any of them to acquire the information needed for one of their precious plans to form. As for us being most likely the smallest pair in this two day contest…how do most men put it…size don’t matter. Especially when we bring forth the bedlam that’ll end them all but rise us to the top. What makes us thrive in a level of chaos beyond what the average man can survive?”)
(“Because - as SKY Force - we live, breath and die for each other. Without unity we are nothing and with unity we’ll outshine any darkness.”)
The two said in union with a side-to-side fist bump before the screen behind them changes into some kind of powerpoint presentation that shows off the other teams in the 4CW bracket.
(“There are many talented individuals in this year’s contest but - at the end of the day - Bad Company is a tag team tournament, every team is formed out of unity and our unity is pure, powerful and incorruptible, no matter the situation or occasion. Can any of those other teams say that? Take our first round opponents for example, one of them is a Champion of Union Battleground yet - though the team claim to represent that company - his teammate is nowhere to be found on either Google or the Battleground Roster page. That doesn’t show unity. If anything that shows dishonesty and, in a tournament like this, dishonesty is the weapon of a coward…or, in this case, cowards. Then again it is hard for me to take any entry seriously when they represent a roster who’s Tag Team Champions are only there because they failed rather disastrously to win a previous Bad Company.”)
The two laugh in unison before the expression on their faces sharpen with unexpected quickness. The background behind them snapping off to static.
(“Don’t mistake my previous statement as overconfidence for every great, successful, invasion is done with careful planning. While many would make the mistake of only focusing on their own strengths and weaknesses, from the German invasion of the Soviet Union to Sega’s invasion of handheld gaming, a true invader - conqueror if you will - instead analyse the strengths and weaknesses of those against them. So while some may think about power or speed, we think about how to turn one’s power into their coffin and one’s speed into their own crucifix. You think this could be madness?”)
(“WELCOME TO BEDLAM!”)
(“And in bedlam, while they will divide and shatter…”)
The two turn so that they are back-to-back, with Rin having her left fist on her chest and Shizuku mirroring her while both their other fist is pointing directly at us.
(“UNITED WE’LL STAND!!!”)
With those final words the two women spring up from their stools, knocking said seats over in the process, before nodding to each other and walking off. This leaves us completely alone with the static screen that blurs out to a SKY Force logo.
