Chuckles the Clown is a relic of a bygone age. A sideshow that, for a brief time, had fame and ...well no fortune, but that was besides the point. Chuckles comes from an era of folding chairs, thumb tacks, lip service to ring rules and pretty poor health coverage. Chuckles was best known as a volatile, grease painted monster who would do anything and everything to get a rise out of the crowd...much to the detriment of his opponent. Back in his day, blood and broken bones put asses in chairs. But this isn't his day anymore and the adjustment has been trying. It's a sad day when a booker suggests you keep the razorwire wrapped folding chair at home.
The "story" went , back then, that Chuckles the Clown was an escaped patient from the Shady Acres mental asylum (It was really Regina, Saskatchewan but that's a mouthful) and hit the ring like Jason Voorhees hit crystal lake. His style was dirty, rude, and efficient. His debut on the hardcore circuit was akin to a freight train hitting a slow moving dairy cow. Every match had color, risks, and extreme brutality. This got him the attention of various operations through the years. As Chuckles gained popularity and exposure, he pushed more and more limits. As he did that, he started holding titles.
Often called the Hardcore Urban Legend, The Devil-Made Bastard, or a cunning maniac: Chuckles pays lip service to the clownish behaviors save for two things. First , He's always grease painted. Much like a luchadore always wears a mask, Chuckles always has his face painted in public. Secondly, Chuckles the Clown is a performer. He adores the spotlight and often takes it with all the nastiest methods. Sneak attacks? Sure. Bad guys need to beat up a good guy? He can clear his schedule. A thumb to the eye or a dirty hit to somewhere ambiguous? Almost a guarantee.
Chuckles maintains that if he ever scrubbed off his painted face, no one would remember him at all.
Chuckles is at a crossroads in his career. Ten years of "retirement" and indi appearances has left him feeling cold and unwanted. A festering and burning hatred of circumstance drove him to do two things. First, he trained his body to become "unbreakable" again. He'd never tap out, only pass out. He pushed himself, never having had much of an instinct for self preservation. The second, he started putting his name out there and wrestling the way they do today. Cleaner with way less "props"....But old habits die hard and Chuckles is a hard, hard man.

Description: Chuckles the Clown is a litany of scars in human form. His thick body is built like high tension wire, though his age is showing. His face is covered in white and blue face paint with blackened eyes and he sports a matching blue beard and short cropped hair. His chipped teeth are often peeled in a lunatics grin with his staring wide, blue eyes boring holes in whoever he's looking at.
In Ring Attire:
A hastily buttoned suit shirt with a skull covered clip tie up top with wrestling pants with boots below the belt.
Out Of Ring Attire:
Obnoxious Hawaiian shirts right out of a Jimmy Buffet video and shorts.
