Sakura Tag League (MEGA THREAD)

I'd like to start this off with just a huge thank you to everyone who's signed up and everyone who's helped us get sign ups. Weather it be from the boards, discord or twitter. I really am thankful and happy to get all of you in this tournament. It's also very cool to get people outside of the usual folks i've seen on our boards and on twitter. So again, thank you everyone for already making this thing kick ass. Now enough of that and let me get on to what the hell this even is and what it's all about!

What Is The Sakura Tag League?

Good question person who asked it! The Sakura Tag League is a (hopefully annual) single elimination tag team tournament. The tournament will contest of 32, yes Thirty Two teams from various promotions, backgrounds, sexualities, nationalities, and experiences. We will have people and teams from all over the world! From Japan and America to North Korea and even the future! From rookies to grizzled old vets on their last few years. From world and tag team champions to people who've never even been in a title match.

When Is The Sakura Tag League?

The Sakura Tag League is going to be announced at our pay per view show at the end of this month and we will hold shows from October until the finals at our next pay per view in December. I know some of you are going to say that's like 3 months! yeah... i guess it is. But we'll be doing about 5 matches per shows which would be about 6 shows total and the finals on a 7th show. I hope that makes sense, sorry if it doesn't. Well anyways we'll have a few matches and "shows" about once every two weeks. Don't worry i'll tag everyone and let everyone involved know about the shows and matches their apart of.

So a Tl;Dr version the tournament will start in October and end December 28 at our Winter Festival Show.

This is nice and all but what do i get if i win?

Well another good question person who asked it. What do you get if you win this whole thing? Well a few things actually! For one you get allot of bragging rights! I mean beating all these teams is pretty freaking impressive! But not only that you will get a trophy to show your the Sakura Tag League Champion! it's not a real championship, just a cool name you get if you win. But that's not all folks! You're also going to be co-main eventing our biggest show of the year, SSS' Winter Festival 2019! Now our tag team champions is fighting in this tournament, so if a team does beat them they will get an automatic title shot after this tournament is over, unless they don't make it to the finals, in which they'll get a tag title match at our Winter Festival show as well.

This is all i have to say about it for now, unless you have more questions and stuff. I'll be announcing who's actually in the tournament and everything at a later date. Brackets are being made now and we'll have allot of very big mystery tag teams coming in this thing as well! Keep checking here every now and then and i'll keep you all posted and updated!
