GIMMICK SUMMARY
KITSUNE and her sister are servants of the soul eating forest known as The Aokigahara. The two were lost there while young. In exchange for allowing the two to keep their souls, the sisters were required to gather soul energy from others. Being fans of wrestling, it seemed a very easy place to fulfill their mission.
KITSUNE tends to be far more outgoing and boisterous than her sister. She's openly pansexual, a shameless flirt and rarely ever takes much of anything seriously. This attitude masks a rather vicious in-ring style. KITSUNE is also a bit of a masochist, occasionally smiling, laughing or even seemingly in bliss while receiving a beating.
HISTORY
Himeko Hayashi had a mostly normal, if not slightly unorthodox childhood. She grew up the oldest of three, with a younger sister and a younger brother. Her sister, Hana, was only a year younger than her. With that being the case, the two were close growing up. Her brother, Mizuki, was seven years her junior. Due to that age gap, the two weren't that close, though there was still love between them. Himeko never knew her father. Her mother, Juna, did her best with the three children. She would leave Himeko and Hana's biological father when the two were babies.
Juna would eventually remarry, to Domon Gato. Things were good at the start. Soon, however, Domon's demons would emerge. This was most common while drinking. He developed into an alcoholic who would abuse Himeko and Hana when Juna wasn't around. It eventually got so bad that Himeko took Hana and ran away from home one night. She knew Juna wouldn't be home until the morning. Himeko was sick of the abuse, but feared Juna might not believe her if she came forward.
So the sisters ran away. They had no plan, no direction. They eventually came to rest in a creepy forest... The Aokigahara. Soon, voices from the dead began to torment the girls. When it seemed the two would be driven to madness, Himeko made an impassioned plea for safety. Shortly thereafter, the voices stopped... At least, all but one stopped. The disembodied voice offered the two a deal; feed the forest and they'd be spared. If they refused, they wouldn't be allowed escape. They agreed. While wandering on their way home, they were picked up by police and escorted home. They agreed to keep the experience in The Aokigahara between the two of them.
The police escort proved to be the straw that broke the camel's back when it came to Juna's marriage. She divorced Domon soon after. Things seemed like they would be great for Himeko and Hana moving forward... But The Aokigahara incident began to take a toll on the sanity of both girls. Himeko, who had been fairly well behaved as a child to that point, began to have violent outbursts. Hana, while always a bit shy, became downright antisocial. When Himeko dropped out of school and left home at sixteen, it broke her mother's heart. The two haven't spoken since.
Himeko got a job as a waitress while staying with a friend. When she had enough money, she went to a local wrestling promotion and got trained. A few months later, Himeko had her first match, a losing effort. After two and a half years wrestling for micro indies, Himeko still wasn't finding much success. A few promoters even suggested she quit. By this time, Hana had graduated high school and sought to join her sister. The two moved into a cramped two bedroom apartment and Hana started training under Himeko. Hana showed much more initial promise than her older sister. She appeared to be a natural. She was wrestling a mere two months after training.
Shortly after Hana's debut, Himeko had a dream. In the dream, the voice from The Aokigahara spoke to her. It reminded her of their deal. It also encouraged her to fully embrace the unbalance she struggled with mentally. Himeko never woke up from that dream... KITSUNE was born. With her new attitude and a hyper aggressive wrestling style to match, KITSUNE found sudden success and plenty of it. She went from struggling to get booked to a hot commodity almost overnight. She began working for bigger and bigger promotions, including Suzuki Blitz Wrestling. Now KITSUNE, with Hana in town, has her sights set on Sakura Shoujo Stampede.

"KITSUNE" by ZORO blares over the PA system, signaling the eminent arrival of KITSUNE. At the --- mark, KITSUNE struts out, her arms outstretched. She's wearing a flowing red oversized sleeveless leather duster with an intricate embossed fox on the back. She slowly saunters to the ring. Once at ringside, she slides into the ring. KITSUNE pauses and takes a look around the arena, a disturbing smile on her face.
She gets up and makes her way to the middle of the ring. She slowly raises her arms above her head, her palms facing outward. KITSUNE then bends her fingers to resemble claws. At the --- mark, she slashes her arms downward in an X. She then walks forward with her arms to her sides, palms outward and laughs excitedly. KITSUNE then makes her way to her corner and takes off her jacket.
