The XHF Presents: The Superb 7
Once again, the competitors of the XHF don't make it easy on us this week, as we count down the list of the Superb 7! From heinous attacks, to unlikely alliances, and of course, show-stopping matches, it has been a week of non-stop action (as it always is!).
Number Seven
"The Headliner" PM Acid
"The Headliner" PM Acid
*PM Acid starts us off this week, coming in at number seven. The young rookie continues to maintain his impressive streak in ther company, this week taking on, and defeating CK "Rat Bastard" Owens. Once again, we had the opportunity to see PM Acid display his top-notch athletisism, first by threatening, and then dominating Owens with what some may call a mean streak. All of this culminated in PM Acid claiming a spot this week on the Superb 7! The only question PM Acid has to answer at the moment, is what lies ahead of him this coming week in the XHF?*
Number Six
Mr. Happy
Mr. Happy
*Seeking revenge against those who attacked his "love", Tara Fenix, on Gastro last week, Mr. Happy put out the challenge, and got the match, facing off against "The Money Maker" Platinum this past week on Gastro. And what a match it was! After promising to avenge the girl of his dreams, Mr. Happy made good on his promise, and came out on top, defeating Platinum in a high profile match. That in itself, along with his derranged antics, place Mr. Happy at the Number 6 Spot this week.*
Number Five
Steve Awesome
Steve Awesome
*Not unlike last week, this week we see another XHF star make his debut in the number five slot on the Superb 7. This week however, it is The Awesome One, Steve Awesome, who takes the spot. After his return to the XHF at Overheated, it was clear that Awesome had some issues to resolve with Chris Kanyon. While his tag match with Reeshi against Kanyon and MGK may not have put an end to the rivalry of Awesome/Kanyon, it certainly allowed Steve to prove he still is indeed a force to be reckoned with in the company. Pinning Chris Kanyon in the main event of Gastro earns Steve Awesome the number 5 spot this week, and the XHF auidence anxiously awaits to see how far up he can climb from here!*
Number Four
Harold Campbell
Harold Campbell
*Harold Campbell has made a career out of shocking crowds and doing what seems impossible day in, and day out. This week proves to be no different, as Harold handed newcomer Primal his first loss on Gastro! Putting an end to Primal's impressive winning streak earns Harold the number four spot this week.*
Number Three
Reeshi
Reeshi
*The X Crown Champion took quite a beating this week, but that certainly didn't overshadow the pure dominance that Reeshi has always exhibited in the ring. This week, Reeshi was handed a surprise attack from Enmity, but in the end, his team still won the Tag Match on Gastro, hence putting Reeshi in the number 3 spot this week. Reeshi has never been known to take a beating, nor has he ever let a rivalry end without getting in the last word. That being said, one can only wonder what Reeshi will do to gain a measure of retribution against the members of Enmity. With an X Crown Title defense against William Spencer lined up this week, it's a given that Reeshi will be looking to unleash some anger.*
Number Two
Enmity
Enmity
*Enmity struck back at the members of Hierarchy this week, first taking out Platinum and Decoy, and then teaming up to deliver a shocking beat-down on the X Crown Champion, Reeshi. MGK and Chris Kanyon may have lost their Tag Match this week, but Tara Fenix came out on top in her match against the ambitious newcomer, Crazy Boy, scoring the frightening duo the number two spot on this week's Superb Seven.*
Number One
Sexy Jason
Sexy Jason
*He may have fought to a draw with the respectful Seth Evans this week, but in our books, that still qualifies as a sucessful No Mercy Title defense for Sexy Jason! If Primal has any ideas about his upcoming No Mercy Title match against Jason being a walk in the park, this week must have changed his mind, considering the levels of endurance and strength that Sexy Jason showed us all this week. Still the No Mercy Champion, Sexy Jason still obviously has a few obstacles ahead of him, but it seems unlikely that the champ will allow himself to be intimidated. What does the upcoming week hold in store for Sexy Jason?*
Thanks for tuning in guys! It's been a rough week, with all of the competiton making it difficult to assort so much talent into only seven spots. Who will make the cut next week? Check out the Superb 7's next edition to find out, and for a good indicator of who's winning over the XHF audience, check out Gastro this Friday Night!
