Match #1 - Shooting Star Cup Rd 1
"Ferrell Messiah" Dread Wolf defeated "The Rabid Hound" Sebastian Grey... By Pinfall!
The match started with both men stalking each other around the ring as they prepare to pounce on one another. They quickly go on the attack as they take turns striking one another. Dread Wolf gains control as he hits a standing dropkick out of nowhere. Dread Wolf would continue to stay on the attack for several minutes as Sebastian Grey would fight back but never getting that big move to turn around the match. Dread Wolf maintained control throughout the match, ending the match with his dreaded "Hunter's Moon" Implosion 450 move to get the pinfall victory and advancing onto round two of the Shooting Star Cup.
Match #2 - Shooting Star Cup Rd 1
Cleaver and Rey Noche would Draw... By Double Count Out!
Rey Noches hit's a Drop Toe Hold as Cleaver charges in, Rey Noches would then follow up with a Standing Shooting Star Press and continue to follow it up with a Mexican Surfboard. Rey would remain in control for a few minutes as Cleaver would nail him with a T-Bone Suplex quickly following it up with a Mexican Side Kick. The two of them would fight toe to toe as the crowd stood on their feet watching the Mayhem. The fight would send both men outside the ring as Cleaver would deliver a Trouble in paradise spinning kick knocking Rey Noches to the floor. Cleaver would follow him outside where he's met with a brutal "Apollo Kick" a fan favorite signature move by Rey Noches. The two men would continue to fight outside and all the way to the stage as referee Emilie Rose would go onto count both men out.
Match #3 - Shooting Star Cup Rd 1
Lucas Swann defeated Rent-A-Hero... By Pinfall!
Lucas Swann would go into this match as well with a chip on his shoulder as he would instantly charge Rent-A-Hero hitting a devastating Bicycle Kick knocking Rent-A-Hero down and out of the ring. Rent-A-Hero wouldn't be down long as he jumps back up and slides back into the ring where Lucas Swann goes back on the offensive hitting an Elbow Drop to the back of the head as he yells “UNDERSTAND THIS!” The match would go on for a little while longer as both men would take turns in control, but it would be the pure will and determination of Lucas Swann who would come back after a disgusting Stink Face bu Rent-A-Hero to deliver a match-winning Irish whip rebounding it into a Superman Punch that he calls "Lights Out" to advance into round two of the Shooting Star Cup.
Backstage Incident...
As the security team tries to break up the fight between Cleaver and Rey Noches, we see the current Phantomweight World Champion "Devilish" Donny Deville standing in the back doing a press release with Gill Snider. When he is blindsided by Space Oddity who delivers a statement-making Claymore kick he calls "Stars Collide". As Donny Deville lays there Space Oddity stands over him holding the champions title as he claims for all to hear that the title will soon be his. Gill Snider manages to get security over there to get break up the situation.
Match #4 - Main Event
Dark Novas defeated The Ganja Connection... By Submission!
Both teams looked amazing coming out of the gate as Akoni Reid would quickly set the pace of the match to hyper speed. Akoni Reid would hit a spinning DDT onto Terry Lam sending her face-first into the mat. He would then take control for a few minutes before tagging in his partner Reggie Walker who would then also step up the pace of the match before getting driven into the ring post by Terry Lam. Who would then tag in her partner Carmen Kahana who would step up and take charge of the match! She would eventually take advantage of the distraction caused by the entrance music of "The Dark One" Ryan Cullen being blasted throughout the building. As she would hit a devastating "Concussion Device" before placing Reggie Walker into her rather painful finisher "Termitron" leaving Reggie Walker to do nothing but tap out.
