BIOGRAPHY
Walter Hayes was born into an affluent family, though he lost everything when Hurricane Katrina battered Louisiana in 2005. Petty crime in order to just scrape by defined his teenage years, until the simple act of joining peaceful protests after the rise of President Kirby's extremist government in the early 2020s branded him a felon.
Im prisoned - and escaping - twice over the next six years, Walter finally made his way into Mexico where he went underground and prepared to fight back. Founding the KLM in 2029, he began to recruit like-minded individuals to his cause.
in 2034 a mole infiltrated the KLM and almost succeeded in assassinating Walter. He determined that he needed to beef up his personal security. Kaiju were not yet available commercially in Mexico at this time, though Walter was intrigued by the reports he was hearing from Japan regarding the new technology. He turned to the black market, hoping to obtain the necessary implants used to control kaijus, as well as one of the creatures.
Managing to obtain the necessary implants and a prototype kaiju through illicit means, Walter tried to mold it into his own personal security agent. This kaiju was fraught with defects however, and died within six months. Sometime around 2037, he came into the possession of his current kaiju, GOLIATH. Another prototype, Goliath succeeded where the first had failed. He has been by Walter's side ever since, a loyal bodyguard for over a decade.
The King's Legacy Movement is an underground resistance cell dedicated to fighting back against the oppressive regime that took over the United States after Obama's assassination. Invoking the spirit of the '60s civil rights figurehead, Martin Luther King, the KLM takes in any and all who are willing to take up the fight.
Operating from various secret underground hideaways, the group are forced to live their lives under the radar. Today, thanks to the inception of WARFORGED, their leader steps out of the shadows, in an attempt to bring their message to the world.
