Here we have Brice St Vient, owner/founder of Slater Pro Wrestling and owner of the 1,001 characters here at eWrestling.com He has seemingly one character for one that every other handler on the entire site has. Why? Let's find out.
1. As we know, your Profile Name is Brice St Vient. Would you like to share your real name here? It's not a requirement or anything, just a curiosity.
Hi folks, my name is Aaron, but my dad usually calls me by my middle name, Keenan.
2. Ok. You have a cast of thousands on your profile. Probably cost you a pretty penny during the Fed Wars days and it's only exploded out in numbers since the cost vanished. Just....why?
Actually it was a pretty good investment in hindsight. In regards to creating characters, if I have an idea that I think will work, but not with the characters that I have in stock; I rather create a character and try to make it work. Sometimes doing so gets the idea over, other times……
3. Which one of these is your favorite and why?
Strangely someone else asked me the same question and if memory serves me well, I really couldn’t give him a good answer. That was nearly two years ago and frankly I still can’t give up a good answer. At this point, I couldn’t even if I tried.
4. What is your favorite wrestler that you do not own and why? (Though mind since you are like the China of eWrestling....there are fewer wrestlers you don't own than are those who you do)
Can’t really say that I have a favorite person that I wish I had created first. However, I have a wish list of guys that I wish I had proper feuds/matches with. Some of those individuals know who they are.
5. How is Slater Pro Wrestling doing?
Its coming along. Its unfortunately in the inactive thread and I take responsibility for that fail. I’ll know in about two weeks about its future.
6. Is there a fed amongst the others that you would jump at the chance of owning and why?
Own? Nope. I’ve always wanted to be more of a story editor/match writer, than a full fledged owner.
7. When did you get involved in Fantasy Wrestling for the first time and how long have you done this?
Informally: I’ve done this on and off for fifteen years. In regards to Fedwars, its been about two years.
8. While a few of your roleplays are straight forward, a few of them in the past I have had to reread several times to get the gist of things. When I say a few, I mean like four out of five roleplays. What process goes into developing a roleplay?
Do I have an idea that can be conveyed property? If so, start writing dialogue and see where it goes from there. For example: Bull Davies never speaks in the roleplays and frankly he doesn’t have to, that’s Manzell’s job. However a judge might take exception to that; hence that nightmarish pounding on the door is borrowed from ‘The Tell Tale Heart’. How I convey that idea will likely decide the role play and possibly the match's outcome.
9. Have you been involved in a few so thick with emotion that you felt as much anger toward the Handler as the Wrestler?
Off the top of my head, there were at least two times (and ironically neither of em involved Manzell.) that I had that problem. As for who the opposites were: no comment. It’s the past now.
10. Who was your favorite feud with and why?
Scott Adams and Max Soloke come to mind in regards to rivalries. I had a couple of good matches against Jason Kross and Chelsea Armstrong. Can any of the mentioned names be placed in the same level as a feud? Not really.
11. What feds are you currently in? Are you looking at expanding to others?
Aside from mine, I'm involved in at least four federations and all of them are on this site. No.
12. In a perfect world where you had time to write whatever you wanted, what feds are you not a part of that you would like to join? Or rather, what feds interest you?
Movie scripts and short stories. I’m in the right number of federations right now.
13. If you could improve the efedwrestling.com site in any way (without returning game elements), what would you do?
I miss the game elements, because I felt that it added something to Fedwars/Efedwrestling, that other federations didn’t have. So I couldn’t give a new answer, aside from the aforementioned.
14. Every fed owner has a wish list for handlers, and sometimes even a wish list of characters from those particular handlers. What is your wish list?
‘Peace on Earth and Good–’, wait they aren’t wrestlers. I really don’t have one, because frankly there are a lot of great writers on this site and it would be hard to choose a select few and not insult anyone who got mistakingly left out.
15. What do you do when you're not efedding? Other hobbies, job, and such? Married, single, kids?
Goofing off, experimenting with Filter Forge and other weird stuff. Fantasy football, hockey and basketball. I work for the US Post Office as a mail handler and I’m happily single with no kids.
16. What is your favorite fed?
It might surprise a certain individual, but Chaos Destiny is my favorite fed. That particular owner is highly inventive in regards to creating entertaining plot lines and its rather hard to shoot story garbage at him. Before it went out of business, CLAW. I’d have to look, but j0ker won his first title in CLAW and frankly without CLAW, there is no j0ker. So simply, thank you Mookie.
17. Ok. A movie is being planned with j0ker who do you think would best be able to play this person? Or in the case of j0ker and keeping the history of Chaos Destiny in mind, what people would be well suited for the role since there have been many versions, male, female, and quuestionable (lol on the last)?
Well Robert Vaughn is too old (though he would be great as a narrator) to play j0ker, so I’ll go with the idea of who’s capable and available to take on the role. There will plenty of times that j0ker won’t say a word and just normally move about and stuff, so that’s what ‘eye candy’ is for. In the end though, I’ve no idea really who could do that particular deal and not turn it into a mess.
