We open up in the mysterious headquarters of MCCW. Where are they? What do they do here? Do they even need them? No one knows, but this is where we find Nelly Angel whistling Christmas carols as he seems to be packing up a backpack. Something off camera catches his eye and he stops whistling and exclaims.
Nelly - Hey Kris, what are you doing here?
The camera pans to a wide view to find Kris Quake walking with a purpose. He stops in his tracks, though, when he hears Nelly and sighs as he sees him.
Quake - What do you want?
Nelly - Nothing man, I’m just wondering what you’re doing here.
Quake - If you must know I’m here to demand a change. I came here to MCCW and was on fire. I couldn’t lose. Then I had a match with you and the curse of you and your drunk of a brother rubbed off on me and I haven’t been able to string wins together to save my life. I can’t have a losing record so I’m going to demand that I never work on the same show as you or your brother again.
Nelly - Oh, well that’s going to be hard.
Quake - What do you mean? It’s simple, just book me on one show and you and your brother on another. It’s not a huge ask and should be easy enough to do.
Nelly - No it’s going to be hard because no ones here.
Quake - What?
Nelly - Everyone has left for the winter break. I’m only here to pick up some stuff I left here before the start of our first tour then I’m headed to Minnesota which I’m sure you’re going to do too.
Quake - Damn it. This just won’t do. I can’t have this looming over my head through the winter break. I want to have this curse solved before... wait... why would I be headed to Minnesota?
Nelly - You don’t know?
Quake - Know what?
Nelly - There’s a XHF special tag team event next weekend at the XHF Arena and you’ve got a match.
Quake - I couldn’t have a match. I didn’t sign up and Johnny just got promoted so there’s no way he’s taking time off.
Nelly - I think your other tag team partner signed you up.
Quake - Other tag team partner? I don’t have another active tag team partner.
Nelly - Uh, my brother.
Quake - No.
Nelly - Yes.
Quake - No.
Nelly - Yes.
Quake - No.
Nelly - Yes.
Quake - No.
Nelly - Yes.
Quake - This cannot be. I’m here to rid myself of him in MCCW and you’re telling me I cannot get that resolved and I cannot even enjoy my break Randy free?
Nelly - I guess that’s what I’m telling you.
Quake - This is ridiculous. I cannot team with Randy. It’s not good for my mental health.
Nelly - Didn’t you guys win tag titles together?
Quake - Yes and then I needed a year off to recover from his idiocy. It took that whole year of ignoring him just to get him to stop calling me. Then I show up at MCCW and it all starts again. I might lose my mind. He might drive me to drunk again and I cannot drink again. I cannot do that again. UGH!
Quake storms off camera as Nelly shrugs and continues packing his backpack.
