”(Fear)”
The words permeate from her mouth.
”(It’s something we all feel deep down inside. From your Death Traps to your Anthony Cafferys. From your Vincent Dravens and Allan Galloways. From your Mike Lios and Fukushima Zombies and even me. It’s something we all feel deep down.)”
She continues.
”(The question isn’t do you feel fear, it’s what do you fear? So Zombie-San, Lio-San what is it that you both fear? For me it’s this match. Honestly, i dreaded hearing that i was going to represent LXW in this match. I mean, i have the weight and pride of this promotion resting on my shoulders. There’s so manny people i can let down without even being pinned or submitted.)”
“(Not to mention i’m facing two incredible wrestlers and former world champions. A multiple time world champion in Mike Lio and the longest reigning champion in sss’ history in Fukushima Zombie. To say i wasn’t a bit scared, well that would make me a liar. I’m a former world champion myself, yes. I’m a former JET Academy and Trios champion as well as the current LXW Women’s champion. I’ve achieved allot of success in my short career so far. Even making it to the semi-finals of the End of Days tournament in my first try.)”
“(But still, deep down the fear is there. What will they think of me if i fail again? What will they think of me for not bringing home the X*Crown? I told myself… i told myself i would do what Jynn couldn’t. I would bring pride and all of the eyes to the most underrated promotion on the network. And to some point, i suppose i am doing that in my own way. But no one never truly cares for a company unless you have the prize that Maverick now holds.)”
She pauses for a moment.
”(That’s what, to many people who watch the XHF Network, submits your legitimacy. Not only as a pro wrestler, but as a promotion. We’ve seen it before with Destiny Wrestling, the very promotion that Mike Lio is from. None of those people cared for it before Subject 42 brought the crown back to them. No one even knew what a Subject 42 was before that, apart from the core fans who watch Destiny every sunday. No one watches SSS. It’s clear enough they didn’t give a damn about women’s wrestling by looking at the Network. By looking at social media and what the fans talk about.)”
“(None of them but the core group of fans care about LXW. That’s not a shot at any of these promotions. It’s just me being brutally honest. It doesn’t matter how many people you draw to your shows or how many ‘stars’ you have. If you don’t have that crown most people watching the content on the network just don’t care. So i’ll make them care.)”
“(By the end of this year everyone will know the letters LXW. Everyone will know who Ai Moe is. And everyone will see the first ever women’s X*Crown champion. Call me cocky for looking into the future, say i’m overlooking my opponents in this upcoming match, but if i’m not looking into the future or only focusing on the past, how am i to reach my goals? How am i to prove them all wrong?)”
A deep breath from the LXW Women’s Champion.
”(This brings me back to fear. I do fear the possibility of failure. But i’m going to use this fear, this anxiety, this weight on my shoulders and i’m going to channel it. Use it to help me defeat my two opponents in this match. Failure is an option. But it’s not one i’m taking without giving my absolute all. I’ll take all i learned from Sakazaki-Sama, from Death Trap, from my time in the SSS Mach 20 and End of Days tournaments. I’ll take everything i’ve learned and experienced thus far and i’ll do everything within my power to show the world what LXW is about. What Ai Moe is about. So Mike Lio, Fukushima Zombie, i ask you this. What do you fear? And what are you going to do with it?)”
With that she bows to the camera before leaving.
