The opening shot begins with multiple black and white shots of Prestige Forty Five, multiple shots of the match between Seth Dillinger, Ryan Young and Bloodied Fox with one coloured frame being Ryan Young lying on the mat with the briefcase holding the certificate within.... and then back to the black and white frames. One being of Bobby Barratt entering the ring and facing all three members of LGBTKO and then darkness.
“...IT'S JACK DIAMOND! WHAT'S HE DOING HERE!?”
That’s all we hear. One singular frame comes to life and it’s of Jack Diamond standing on the apron after taking Bloodied Fox out from nowhere, then it changes as it shows Ryan Young being hit with Stacked Deck from Jack, leaving Jack to stare down Bobby and once again - fading to black before we hear…
“NO! NO! NO! BOBBY, NO! YOU'VE CHANGED!”
One singular frame appears and changes the landscape of not only LGBTKO but the entire AWF roster… Jack Diamond and Bobby standing tall over the Prestige and XHF Tag Team Champions. That one singular framed shot begins to burn as if being set on fire, it crumbles to ashes as it brings us back to darkness.
Forty minutes later…
We’ve opened back up to the LGBTKO boys as they’ve made their way into the locker rooms, neither of them looking too pleased with the recent events that occurred right after the war all three gave in the Ultimate X Match. Seth is seen sitting down and clutching at his neck, his Championship on the floor to his left side. Ryan is seen with Selena at his side as he rolls his shoulders and Fox is the only one standing, looking annoyed and pissed off after what transpired. Brendan stays seated right beside his lover as Fox turns to the wall behind him and begins slamming his fists into the wall. Both Ryan and Brendan get up and pull Fox away, holding his arms down to keep him calm but the Fox has fire in his eyes, seeing red with the traitorous Bobby Barratt's actions.
"Fox, calm down!" Seth exclaims from his seat.
As if commanded, Fox slowly releases his anger and begins to calm down as he takes a seat where Brendan once was. Both men let go of Fox as Brendan crouches down and holds Fox’s hand whilst Ryan takes his seat back on the couch beside Selena.
“Why the hell did he do that?” Ryan questions but not to everyone but himself.
“They’re Icons, it’s what they fucking do. Backstabbers. Never… ever trust an Icon.” Seth mutters under his breath.
“Never trust a straight guy either.” Fox speaks, the pure anger still in his tone but he still finds a way to make it sound like a joke.
Ryan looks over at Fox and chuckles slightly, Seth lets out a long sigh and stands up from his seat. He walks over to his bags and puts his AWF Prestige Championship into his bag, takes out a pair of jeans to put on over his ring gear and a regular T-Shirt to slip on over his chiseled body.
“I’m going, I would love to chat longer and hang around but all this Icon shit has put me in a sour mood and then Michael Storm as well doesn’t help it at all.” He says with a quite dull tone to his voice, “I’ll keep in touch. Don’t forget you have to defend those belts at Supremacy too, guys.”
“We won’t.” Ryan replies as he looks over to Fox.
After that was said, Seth waves the boys goodbye and leaves the room, leaving Selena and Ryan with Fox and Brendan. Both lovers at the men’s side, both of them with an arm around them.
“So me and you, defending at a big Pay Per View… are you excited?” Ryan asks.
“It’s going to be interesting, first Global show and we’re defending these bad boys. Do you know who we’re defending against?” This time it’s Fox with the questions.
Selena is already looking through Google from her phone, looking for the answer.
“It says here that it’ll be against The Saga.”
“There’s four of them, which half are we facing?” Ryan says as he looks over to Selena.
“Nobody and Monroe, the ones who replaced the other guys.”
Ryan looks over to Fox.
“I’ve only faced Sniper and Dunne, I know nothing about how these two wrestles.”
“I’ve watched Nobody in that Gauntlet at the Christmas show but that’s it… they’re new and I mean really new.” Fox responds.
“I don’t think they’re that new, The Saga have been around for a while so all members must be too, it's their history that's new to us or even what they've done." He looks over to Selena. "What do we know about these two?"
Selena does more searching through Google.
"Nobody is a former PTSD Openweight Champion and Monroe is a former DW Heavyweight Champion, at least someone from The Saga is worth something."
Ryan couldn't help but smile at the backhanded comment, Brendan is the first to stand up followed by Fox.
"We best get going soon, maybe we could meet up for a coffee some time, eh?"
"Hopefully so, maybe from there we can find out more about these two bland Sagas." He says with a grin.
Both Fox and Brendan leave the room and we're now left with Ryan and Selena together, but Selena still looks annoyed but to what is anyone's guess.
"What's wrong?" Ryan asks as he turns to Selena. "Why the long face?"
"I asked you months ago to bring back the old Ryan, not this new one who's all giddy and treats his opponents like they're family. You got lucky to be able to win that match, and then seeing three men being beaten down when they were outnumbered was hard to watch." She remarks.
"You know that none of us expected it, nobody saw Bobby turning on us."
"The fans did."
No comment from Ryan, his head stoops low as he thinks back to the crowd's reaction and she was right... They knew.
"Ryan, I've been asking for the old Ryan because that's the one who never cared for the fans or what they wanted. That was the Ryan Young that was unbreakable, who made headlines and was never in the shadows! Now look at you, everyone seems to think you're hiding in Seth's shadow. You're not the one always making the headlines anymore, if anything, you're the one who assists." She says as if making more of a statement than a point. "That's not what you wanted when you joined here, you're whipped, you'd do anything for Seth and Fox that it's ruining the reputation you had when you first joined. If that Ryan saw what the present day Ryan is now, he'd never want to pick Seth and he'd opt for someone better."
"I sure as hell ain't in anyone's shadow, let alone Seth's. How many times have I lost, Selena?" He asks.
"Twice." She responds. "But the thing is most of your wins came in Tag Team Matches, you've not got a good enough showing as a singles competitor, Ryan."
"Are you saying I should disband from the team?"
"Not at all, no, but you need to stop putting yourself with the team and focus more on trying to become a star in the singles division... It's not just the Tag Division you could takeover in."
"I'm a hell of a singles competitor, any time I've been without a team I've won." He exclaims. "I won the Fired Up Rumble, I beat the then Prestige Champion of Hyperion and now I beat the current Prestige Champion and Bloodied Fox. I've got a good enough record and I'm ready to make it another win at Supremacy over the last ever AXW Undisputed Champion in Vincent Draven."
"That's what I want to see..." She speaks softly as she stands up from her seat. "...I know that side of you very well, the relentlessness of Ryan Young, something that the Californian independent wrestling scene has known for the last few years! Now try to show AWF that! Ryan, you are The Messiah of the fucking Knee Strike."
"That I am..."
"You are God's Last Gift to the wrestling world."
"...that too..."
"You are The One They Love To Hate, you're Ryan fucking Young and you don't take any more bullshit."
Once again, no comment from Ryan as he's left in silence.
"Being the bad guy doesn't mean you have to leave your group, you just do things differently and you take the thrilling or dangerous route. If you're so worried about having to turn on Seth or Fox, then calm, just be the same Ryan they know... But be the Ryan that I know."
Again there's no comment from Ryan as Selena makes her way to the door and places a hand onto the handle before looking back at Ryan who's left sitting there and thinking.
"I'll meet you out by the car."
After she speaks, Selena opens the door and leaves the room and we're now left with Ryan who's thinking hard about what Selena said. He stays seated on the couch, the television still playing in the background as the show still continues on with it's Main Event coming to an end with Maverick going down the ruthless path against Eric Dane. Still no word from Ryan has been spoken until...
"Fuck." is all we hear from Ryan with no context as to what is going through his head to say that word.
He looks back up at the screen and sees the match has finally concluded with a close up of the screen showing Maverick holding the X*Crown Championship up high over the broken and beaten Eric Dane and the sounds of a door slamming ending the scene as it fades to black.
We've opened to static as it begins to fade out to a close up to one of the XHF Tag Team Championships that is currently in Ryan's possession, the camera shot zooms out to find it within a glass cabinet along with other Californian promotion championships, awards and plaques but they all share the same thing, the name etched into them. The XHF Tag Team Championship is placed on a small shelf in the cabinet as it rests on a purple velvet material and small lights within the cabinet shining on the belt itself. Then we cut to the room where the cabinet resides in, a room that would purposely be somewhat to a man cave within The Young Household itself and already within that room is Ryan, sitting back within a recliner chair and facing the eighty-inch television that near enough covers the entire wall, Ryan watches something with a keen eye to the content - a match with Joe Nobody at A Very AWF Christmas against Maverick within the Gauntlet.
"If one half couldn't beat us, why not send the other half, am I right?"
Ryan chuckles to himself.
"Lately it's come to my attention that The Saga of it's entirety have reached the new found land of AWF and are trying their best to pry the champions of these belts, a shame really when you have four men who could never win a match to save their lives, a shame when neither men involved within it's team have a good or even decent track record. The Saga have always shown to be the downfall, the bottom of the Tag Team Barrel and to be fair, it's within good reason. Just have a look at them one by one."
Ryan raises one finger.
"Wellington Dunne, he competed at Prestige Forty Five and he lost, he's probably never going to be seen for another long time until he puts some sense into the fact that he can't wrestle."
Ryan then raises another finger.
"Johnny Sniper, a generic name for someone with a military background - Former United States Champion who got put on the shelf for even daring to face Eric Dane in a match that I've watched and wish to never see again, unless it's out of enjoyment for The Saga's demise."
Ryan raises a third finger from the same hand.
"Now we move onto the two who myself and Foxy have the pleasure of meeting at Supremacy. Up first is you, Joe Nobody, and I know it's a cliche at this point but the name says it all really, never thought it'll turn out to be as true as I'd expected it to be. But here is something I do not understand about you, Joe, why do you have to compare myself and Fox to an old house of yours that you grew up in? What importance does a house that you grew up in, within a neighborhood where you were bullied for not being like the others and felt uncomfortable being in have anything to do with us or this match in it's entirety?"
Ryan shakes his head as he begins to think of an answer.
"I'd hate to use the stereotype but you do realize we're in the LGBT Community, right? Being bullied for not being like everyone else and feeling uncomfortable by other's actions is something we experience one too many times within our lives, yet you want to complain about a house that you moved out of years ago over how you were raised and yet you still were able to begin a family with your wife and have a beautiful daughter together but you can't seem to let go of the past. You've a main focus and goal in your head, and it's not of myself and Fox but to prove a house wrong. A freakin' house."
A tut comes from Ryan who still has his hand raised with the three fingers showing.
"I remember looking back and finding these promos of yours and how you wanted to be on a Quest to Beat The Best but all you've done lately is do what your team has done for the past year... choke. Take a look around you, Joe, you've been lead into a team with no reputation and no glory and when you do win... It's always against the Job Squad, and with that asset in play, there's already the lingering doubt that should be in your head that you can't beat us. In fact, I know you can't beat us, and it's because you could never get the job done. Gone are the days of Destiny Wrestling where you might have been quite the name for amazing matches but you're in the bigger leagues now and you've done nothing but embarrass yourself immensely."
A loud sigh comes from Ryan.
"Has the thought of letting your daughter down not come to you yet? Do you think she wants to see her father beaten down so much? Quite the role model for her if that's what you're teaching."
Ryan begins to laugh as he raises a fourth finger from his hand.
"And then there's The Author, the preacher of The Saga and self-proclaimed Author of Truth but of false deception. I was told watching this that i had to take a test and I was expecting questions but I was met with more rambling than Nobody and his house. Is that always going to be a reoccurring theme with you four? Talk absolute nonsense and jumbled up words, put it together and call it a promo where we're meant to be intimidated? If anything, my IQ has been intimidated from the lack of broken English and broken sentences used by both of you two."
He lowers his hand.
"Travis... you're a fucking author... or claims to be one."
Ryan rolls his eyes.
"How about putting your mind into the things you say instead of rushing and making yourself look good for once, the same can be said for Nobody because I really don't want to hear about sob stories from your past... Tests that you put one another through that you say will be given to us but there's no mention as to what said test is... And then trying to tell a faction with the XHF Tag Team Championships and the AWF Prestige Championship in it's accomplishments that us and The Saga are the only ones worth anything in AWF or the XHF itself!"
Ryan could only laugh, not a chuckle but a full on laugh, like a hyena has taken over his body.
"Stop kidding yourself, boys, you'll never be as good as us or even Legion for that matter. You'll never be worth anything, you never have been worth anything and you're better off disbanded than together because let me tell you what the word Saga means."
Ryan leans closer into the camera.
"A saga is a long story of heroic achievement or a long and involved story, it's a word that comes from early eighteenth century English but there's another meaning to Saga and it's your meaning because Saga stands for Smarts, Aggression, Glory, and Adaptability. I can tell you from experience that you have neither of those, and I can tell you that The Saga that you guys formed means nothing of what I've said. You've no long story of anything, and if there is, it's of failure and lies. Maybe after Supremacy and we put you two through the hell that you've put yourself in for... We show you a real saga because it's a shame you couldn't put on a good match unless it had me and Fox to help you do so, a pity it's something you couldn't do that for yourselves."
Ryan stands up and walks over to the glass cabinet as he stares at the XHF Tag Team Championship from the outside.
"So when LGBTKO comes into town, how much of a beating are you expecting? Because I'm sure myself and Fox will gladly send you packing home without the gold. Now if you'll excuse me, I have many more important things to be attending than to talk trash to two people who just wouldn't cut it past us if they dared try their hardest."
A slight smirk appears on Ryan's face.
"Thank you, next."
The scene fades to a blur.

DATE: 14th January 2020
Only a few hours later have we reawaken from the previous scene as we’re met with an empty household of Ryan Young, the sounds of Lil Peep echoes throughout the home and it's one song... Save That Shit, more recognizable as the theme for Ryan.
Fuck my life, can't say that girl
Don't tell me you can save that shit
All she want is payback for the way I always play that shit
You ain't getting nothing, now I'm saying
Don't tell me you is
The camera pans around the room we were in hours ago, showing the eighty-inch television and the glass cabinet of wrestling achievements.
Nothin' like them other motherfuckers
I can make you rich (I can make you rich)
I can make you this, baby, I can make you that
I can take you there, but baby, you won't make it back
Growing sick of this and I don't wanna make you sad
Do I make you scared? Baby, won't you take me back?
Nothin' like them other motherfuckers
I can make you rich (I can make you rich)
Nothin' like them other motherfuckers
I can make you rich (I can make you rich)
"I'm going to become AWF Prestige Champion, whether you like it or not and I'm going to prove to everyone that I'm more than just a pretty face, I'm the whole damn package."
"Some things never change." He says in a devious tone.
Then the scene fades to black before hearing Ryan laughing and then the cut to silence.
